Went to a different salon last week to get a haircut and they did an absolutely horrible job. I came into New Cuts and Chau transformed my butched haircut into a quality hairstyle. She really put a lot of effort and care in making sure my hair didn’t just «look» good, but was perfect. I’m really really happy with this fix. Chau was also super sweet and very courteous. I also got my upper lip waxed and will probably be coming back here for waxing and haircuts!
The service, skill level, and price is unbeatable here! Thank you so much Chau! Can’t believe I haven’t found this gem earlier.

I got both my children’s hair cut here a few days ago. We walked in and they helped us right away on a Friday afternoon. The ladies were very friendly and were great with my 18 month old and 4 year old. Now my 4 year old daughter has a haircut much nicer than my own and my 18 month old son is very handsome with his little boy cut. They encouraged me to collect locks of their hair for our memory books before they swept up. I recommend this salon for people looking to get affordable and nice looking haircuts for their children. :)

Worst haircut ever! The lady who cut my hair didn’t even part my hair so my hair came out in even. My hair is very think and wavy and she butchered it when I asked for a trim! And she sucked at putting a little layer in my hair the layers aren’t even at all! Horrible place to go if you have any body in your hair what so ever! Don’t believe all these other reviews! Good luck and Godspeed!

Chau is awesome! I’ve been coming to her for around three years now and she never disappoints. I often had an issue in the past of hairstylists never listening to you when you tell them how many inches you want cut off, leaving your hair shorter than you wanted.
But Chau listens to you every time and will cut it exactly as you want. I’ve referred like 5 – 10 of my friends here and they all love her as well. She’s a sweetheart too :)

Definitely a 5 star treatment…
Chau did a wonderful job. She just gave a completely new look to my ruined hair cut (given in another salon).
Sue gave me a best hair wash. I was came in with complete oil she repeatedly washed till it was ensured that oil was completely out, and gave a very good massage.
I am completely satisfied with her job and have just decided to make this my default place for hair cut.
They make sure that we are completely satisfied with their service and the way they receive is the best.
This is the second time that i am visiting here and her approach to the customers have not changed and even improved.
Thanks Chau. Will be back soon. And this will be my spot till i am in the town.

It’s a little hole in the wall but the ladies there are really nice. Sue did my hair, she admitted she wasn’t very good at styling (which was fine because I only needed a hair cut) but she did a great job cutting my hair. It’s the kind of salon where you go for a quick maintenance. It’s good to make an appointment even though it says walk-​ins available. I went in around noon and had to come back at 4:30. The price is very reasonable.

Chao gave me a layered cut for $ 20, and she did an amazing job in 30 min. I showed her a picture, and she got it to match perfectly! She was nice enough to even curl my hair afterwards, what a treat!
This place is a steal and even though I don’t live in this area, I will be back whenever I’m back in the Bay Area. Although the shops nearby look *slightly* sketchy and it isn’t exactly located in what I call prime real estate, the hair stylists pass on the savings here to you.

I always get hair cut here when stay at my girlfriend’s place. They are SUPER NICE and very reasonably priced.
Plenty of parking in the back and there’s a front and back entrance. The strip mall looks sketch but it’s completely safe so don’t let that prevent you from getting a quality cut.

Had to leave an updated review after getting my haircut today, as well as give this place their missing 5th star!
For the last two times, I’ve gotten my hair cut by Su (sp?) because Yvonne was either not available or I forgot to call. Regardless, the haircuts were amazing. The same quick, professional, and even friendly service, as well as no wait times, and a great $ 10 price.
Which brings me to say, in the last few months of coming here almost every 2 – 3 weeks, I’ve received the same great service and as I discovered today, this service isn’t limited to just Yvonne but shared by everyone who works here.
Long story short, come by and get your hair cut. Any one of these ladies will do an amazing job and put a smile on your face while doing so!

Talk about the perfect haircut every time! For $ 20 – 25, I’ve had my hair cut and lightly styled twice now. Chao hadn’t actually cut my hair yet, but both ladies who have were just as great as people claim Chao to be. I live in Portland now but don’t plan on going anywhere else for my hair. This will be my pitstop whenever I’m in town!

I went here for the first time and since it’s New Year’s Eve, I thought they would be so busy or packed. Not even, I even called too and they told me to just come in.
