Visited this restaurant from san ramon after nearly 6 months. Quality and quantity improved with generous amount of food. Hats off to naidu for excellent customer service. proved that he can turn around the restaurants with his ambiance, food quality. Notice the food quality went down after he moved from Hyderabad biryani place in San ramon. Lucky for lotus Fremont, unlucky for for HBP san ramon. Proved that he single handedly turn around restaurants. Hope the owner maintains it. Only downside is decrease the Oil.

It’s a good restaurants for chaats but below average place for non-veg snacks and entrees… We had Vja chicken biryani, dahi papdi chaat, chicken majestic. Chicken majestic is the worst I had till date. Biryani rice is overdried, seems leftover rice from afternoon. Chaat is awesome. The service is prompt and very receptive.

I liked the non-vegetarian dishes and the paneer dishes. They were spicy and well cooked. But, sometimes the fried rice have raw vegetables.

This is my go-to takeout place for Indian. Their Byrianis are just about the best I’ve had. They have the typical North Indian curries you’ll find at any place in the area plus several more interesting ones too. I give it 4 stars for what it is: a neighborhood Indian place with tasty food. Plus 1 to counteract several recent questionable 1-star reviews

Guys this is like something … Today I took chicken biryani to go @7:30 pm. They asked me to wait half hour to give the food which was not fresh. The biryani is smelling too bad. My god. What the management doing.

This restaurant has come in place of masala grill. We went in for dinner after seeing positive reviews of the lotus indian express in Milpitas. Firstly, no sense of hygiene and bad quality food! Will never go back!

We tried their lunch buffet today. We tried 10 different items. All of them we good, we loved the butter chicken. The customer service was 5 star alone. We didn’t like their tea, seems like they added some salt to it, but it was free so can’t complain about it.

It’s just not the same. The food doesn’t taste the same plus they stopped with the lunch specials and only have the buffet at lunch. It’s not the same fresh taste and quality. Very disappointing.

Pretty good. Gobi manchurian was delicious, crispy on the outside and perfect texture on the inside. We would definitely get that again. Cut mirchi was good too. Baingan was kind of ginger-y and little too salty. They were out of bhindi. Very sad. They included rice with the meal, which was nice. The server told me, though, they include rice on weekdays but not weekends.

Horrible food! Just a couple of vegetarian items on their lunch buffet menu for$ 10. Definitely a rip off!!! Greasy oily food. No thank you! To top that all the plates and cups were very dirty. Done and done.

So I haven’t tried all the food but the customer service alone deserves 5 stars! Did not know where they were located and the man on the phone offered to come out and meet me. Also I didn’t know they were closed from 3−5pm but they were nice enough to make an order since the food was ready. Great staff! Will be coming for more food! Tried samosas here before… really good! My Indian friends recommend this place as well :)

We went there on a sunday for buffet and we had a good time and food. Soup was not available. I tried goat, Tandoori chicken, masala chicken, fish fry, palak panner, vadai and sweets. Except goat everything else was good. Desert was also good but not too many varieties. You will get a very decent tasty food for the money. Give a try for a different taste.

This place was alright when they were serving lunch special curries(with naan and rice) but I don’t like the new buffet. It is expensive and not very vegetarian friendly, also some of the curries did not taste fresh. The food was very spicy and there was no raita or yogurt in the buffet but the server did bring me some when I requested. I don’t think I will come back for the buffet.

Overacting manager. Thinks he is over smart but he doesn’t know he is a street smart. I took a soft drinks and it was very warm without the actual strong feel of a soft drink. When I asked him its hot so he was telling the waiter to get ice .and I said no thanks u can take ur soft drink back .so then the manager said u can just Take it sir I won’t add in the bill .I was like what would I do if the soft drink was hot and the person at counter dint add as the manager told me. Then after the check the manager came running saying«sir has taken coke so add it in the bill«I was like WTF! .I just paid the bill and came back .and the food is such low quality .hate that food in buffet .less price but poorest quality.

Manager Naidu Garu is the true star of this restaurant with his amazing customer service and ever friendly attitude. The next star is the Biriyani Chef in the kitchen, this deadly combination of perfect customer service with some finger-licking biriyani makes this place extremely attractive for the desi crowd who are used to laid back attitude of the existing Indian food joints. The restaurant has improved a lot in last 4 – 5 months highlights being butter chicken, Chicken veppudu, Chicken Dum Biriyani, Vijaywada Biriyani & for people from Tamil Nadu I would suggest Thalapakatti Biriyani. Note to Owner: There are tons and tons of Indian restaurant that have flourished & perished in Bay Area, all because of high end attitude after achieving their 15 min of fame but if you can maintain this same humbleness and quality for longer I don’t see an end to your rein.

The Indian food here is good. Been here a lot of times. The Special Chicken Biryani(Boneless) is one of my favorite dishes. The service here is good and they work hard as I see. This place is a small one and it’s good when you come with a few friends. I have to say this is one Indian restaurant where the quality of food is not compromised. The food here is fresh and its best Indian restaurant in Fremont I have to say. Tried Samosa Chat yesterday and it was a bit spicy but liked it. It’s spicy as most of the Indians like.

Smells funny inside. Ate their food at a party and liked their catering so went to the restaurant. I can’t really speak to a lot of the food since I didn’t get to eat it, but I definitely liked the stuffed mirchi(mirchi bajji) since it was a lot better than many other mirchi bajjis I have had in California. But of course, again… no comparison to the GUNTUR or HYD mirchi bajjissss! I shall give this place a proper review when I eat more.
