My husband and I recently downsized to save some money and most of our belongings, furniture, baby items, decorative items etc needed to be placed in storage for at least the next year. Laurie (the manager) was super helpful with telling us about our options, showing us the units, and streamlining the paperwork. We ended up making several trips back and forth to the unit and have been very happy with our experience overall. The facility is clean, and well lit, and we had no problem coming late in the evening to drop off more loads. We feel good knowing our belongings will be safe for the time being. I would definitely recommend to a friend!

Been doing research on a few self service storage businesses in Fremont. My husband and I met with Laurie, Property Manager. She was knowledgeable, personable and most importantly answered ALL of my questions which gave me confidence. Next step, we checked out a space. It was perfect for our needs and decided to do business with Lock it Up Storage.

The other day I went to Lock It Up Storage just to inquire about some information and rates. The lady in the office, I think her name was Laurie, was an amazing help! She was super friendly and answered all of my questions. Soon after speaking with with her I was sold… I unexpectedly ended up grabbing a lot that day. Plus, the lots were really well taken care of and in a very respectable area, so I was impressed. Thanks again Laurie for all your help :)
P. S. — I believe they are under new management now… so I don’t think the other reviews still apply since they are well over a year old.

I just rented a unit from this location and the manager, Laurie, is so personable! She has only been there a number of months but she was really helpful, knowledgeable and she made the process really easy since I’ve never rented a storage unit before. I had to downsize to a smaller apartment so I just told her what I needed stored and she showed me a number of units that would work for me. Pricing is reasonable. Overall I am happy with the way things turned out.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS LOCATION. The local managers are uncooperative and even downright rude. The corporate policy states that if you pre-​pay your rent for 11 months, you will get the 12th month for free. This location DOES NOT HONOR THAT OFFER. I have had to fight them for 3 years in a row to get credit for that 12th month. This year that fight has been going on for the entire year! I have even called their corporate offices multiple times, trying to get this resolved, and they STILL have not credited me for the 12th month.
Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to store your stuff — these folks are a big rip-​off.

Terrible customer service at this storage facility. We signed a lease to rent out one of their storage spaces, but could not lock or move stuff in since we were leaving for a week long vacation. Came back to load the space up and SURPRISE! They leased our storage space to someone else. They offered another unit, didn’t apologize or offer any incentive to stay until I began to raise my voice out of shock and frustration that they could make a mistake like that. I WOULD NOT rent space anywhere that cannot manage paper work, so what if I did not have a lock on the door at the time. How could they not know it was already leased?!?
