Centrally located in the heart of Fremont, a decent sports bar with their own brews. The beer is absolutely refreshing. I love the Double IPA. I usually sit by the bar and drink the double IPA with garlic fries as a side. Haven’t had the chance to eat real food over here but I love the beer. Kudos guys!

Pretty good seasonal brews and above chain sport bar quality food. The beef & barley ale soup is a must and they do a pretty good burger.

I ordered the fajita chicken sandwich, it was quite good. Drank the porter, had two. Friendly staff. Would come back. They have a bunch of beers but I’m a dark guy, so my review is on it.

First came to Jack’s almost three years ago, and it since became somewhat a go-to place for Warriors games. Plenty of seating and family friendly. I’ve also been hosting Couchsurfing events here cause it offers lots of room and long tables for large party. If there’s one thing, I wish there could be more vegetarian options. For the demographic diversity in Fremont, it could be better for the business. Overall, it’s a great place to go grab a bite and hang out with friends and family.

Not really impressed. Food was medicore(nachos and knockout burger with garlic fries). Garlic fries were good but overwhelmingly too much garlic. This may be why everything else didn’t taste as good. Service was average, but a good place to watch a game and have a drink.

The Good: mmmm… possibly a nice place to watch sports. The Bad: Food was okay, I’ve had way better bar food. The Review: Maybe it’s because I hyped this place up in my mind that I was so sad it let me down. Every time I was in this shopping plaza in Fremont I’d always see this place. Nice exterior, and the promise of some good bar food. I came in on a slow night with my girlfriend. I ordered the calamari and a burger. She had quesadillas. Nothing was terrible, but nothing was great either. I just left feeling like, I don’t think I’ll be coming back here again, that’s never a good sign. On the bright side, it looks like a cool place to enjoy some beer and watch some games.

love the service always get the monster appetizer which is pretty tasty other than the garlic fries which are basically fries with unmelted cheese and raw garlic with parsley which is a downer since I am a big fan of garlic fries but no big deal you can substitute for something else. Also the waitresses are always super friendly. If your looking for somewhere to have a quick bite and few brews and your in the Fremont area i would recommend this place

Consistent good food and good beer served by friendly people, with plenty of big screens for the sports fan. Chill atmosphere for the kiddos and a Foosball table to entertain them while you finish that beer. Been coming here for years and never been disappointed in the food or the service.

So my fiancée and I decided to go out to eat and wanted to support a local business. Very much like a Denny’s meets a sports bar. Many many tvs with sports on. We were sat almost immediately and the host probably the manager was pleasant. The waitress was a young lady that was pleasant enough just seemed like she had too many tables or was her first time because there was no sense of urgency. Took her about 10 min to order our drinks and appetizer. Which were the onion rings and I highly recommend them. Entrees were the big bambino burrito(way smaller than I expected with the name) and the grilled meatloaf sandwich served open face. The meatloaf seems kinda store bought, nothing special to set it apart but the gravy was good. My fiancée loved her burrito so all and all good place to go.

Food was good. Service sucks. The server just sat at the bar talking to people checked in on us twice. I had to get up to get things I needed. Beer was ok. BJ’S is better.

It’s an OK bar, but mostly elderly patrons and not amazing atmosphere. We tried the pumpkin ale and the apple cider. Pumpkin ale was good but surprisingly heavy for an ale — probably from the spices. Apple cider was good but from a bottle. Jalapeño poppers were just gross. The cheese inside literally looked like cheese in a can — it was yellow and like liquid and didn’t really taste like anything. Super disappointing. Steak nachos were good, very generous with the toppings. However, I did think the portion was a little smaller than other places I’ve been to.

I took my family out here for a birthday dinner and do not plan on coming back. A worker(assuming it was the owner) pounded on the edge of a booth for 5+ minutes with a hammer during peak dinner time, and took attitude when asked if he could do it another time. Beyond this, it took over 15 minutes to even get our drinks. We were preparing to walk out as our drinks arrived and decided to suck it up and stay. This place does not to deserve to be open if this is how they choose to treat customers. Possibly the worst dining experience I’ve had in the last few years. I will be sending this review to all friends, family, and associates that may potentially visit this establishment to ward them off doing so.

I wish this spot wasn’t an hour away — I’d live here. The food is better than I thought it’d be. I think they make the best Amber beer and it’s all I drink. Tvs, big bar… good stuff.

Very rude owner(may have been a manager). My family and I will never come back here. I honestly hope this place goes out of business.

This longtime fremont establishment has been around for at least 20 years. Located in the fremont hub area, the place is roomy. Tables and boothes available. Good size bar. There are a good amount of tvs, and it plays nothing but sports. They have all nfl and mlb channels. The bartenders are great as are the servers. But and there is a but, the food and beer fall a bit short. I came here about 10 years ago and the last time, I got a burger that was pretty much a meatball in the middle of the bun. I have returned recently this year because my freind goes there and the burgers arr much improved. The meat to bun ratio is more bun. The food is not bad but not great, it doesn’t make me crave Jacks food. The beer is all Jacks specials serving ales, ipas, dipa, wheat, and some seasonals. But alas they won’t win awards. I’d only have the wheat or lightest they have. Thst said jacks is a great local favorite where friends and families come to. Kid friendly. Come here for the atmosphere and tvs.

I’ve been here a few times and have found the Buffalo wings to be solid choice. The garlic fries are good too. But I had the, appetizer platter which wasn’t that great. All I recall was a chimichanga amongst other things. The steak sandwich was not impressive either. Sad to say that the previously frozen food items are the best items I had here. The interior is dark and old school pub like.

Came here to have lunch with bf and my dog. At first service was a little slow but the waitress seemed to be by herself. Ordered the beer sampler for $ 9.50 which was pretty good. Boyfriend ordered steak and cheese sandwich with fries which looked and tasted delicious. I ordered the black bean chili which was about $ 9.50 however it did not taste like traditional Hulu and I actually did not enjoy it. Kind of tasted like a thick black bean soup and it came with soft tortillas to eat it with. Even though other people brought there dogs it did not really seem like they were very welcome towards dogs. Didn’t bring dog water or anything. They also do bit have a full liquor license so beer only. Would probably go again for the beer and would try a burger there next time instead. Pretty good but not super impressed.

This place USED to be pretty darn good, but not so much nowadays. The burgers are meh, the sides are meh, and it takes a fortnight to get your food served. Bottom line is: if you want a good burger and quick service, go elsewhere.

Ok, I am rating this place two stars cuz of the wait, the quality of the food and the service. I have been here many times but this last time maybe my last as I got a bad stomach ache after my last meal there. Argh… What happened? The restaurant itself is an older pub and has an old weird smell. They need to fix that or upgrade the place. I used to like it here, not anymore. It’s a big place for big groups but don’t come here hungry. They also have outdoor seating. Our server was pretty friendly but slow. I guess she was by herself but our group was the second ones there and it was still slow getting our food! Their beers are great. I believe they make their own beer and has big steel containers that make it in two sections of the restaurant. That must be the smell of the yeast or something outside or inside the restaurant. I tried their lemonade and it was powdery… yuck! I exchanged for a sprite and it was too sweet. I can’t seem to win, I should have gotten water! Portions and price are not bad but I am not a fan of their bread they use on their sandwiches or burgers that I have tried. I like that they use romaine lettuce instead of regular head of lettuce. The garlic fries upgrade is not greasy and tastes great. If you order onion rings, it’s a little soggy and mostly bread. Where’s the onion? Also, they don’t seem to drain the oil after its deep fried. My friend squeezed out the oil and it was dripping like thick liquid… ellll. This is also similar for their fish and chips meal. You have to use your napkin to drain the oil first before eating. Good American sports bar to hang out and see the cool collection of jerseys on the walls. They have a nice size bar and lots of tv’s to watch the games but not sure I would come back because I know I will have to wait a long time for my food. :(
