I came to get holes drilled in a ball I bought elsewhere. It cost $ 35(includes name engraving) and took about 20 minutes. Mike helped me out and goes through quite the detailed process to get your measurements correctly. He was super friendly too. If you want to shop around in person, they carry a variety of balls, bags, and shoes(even the latest designs). There was even a Hello Kitty bag!

Good selection of items, some good deals(price of bowling balls include drilling). Got my father-in-law a bowling ball for father’s day and my wife was able to get her ball fixed for free as well!

I called this pro shop to get some of my equipment work on. And I needed certain things to be done on my bowling balls He told me that he would be able to do it and when I brought it to him. He reply to me that they don’t do certain stuff like putting a Turbo switch grip and sleeves in the ball or a Vise insert and sleeve in the ball. I spent a lot of money to get the equipment I wanted and for him not be able to do it. I was not happy so I had to bring it to another pro shop to get it done. Not happy with his service

Great pro shop. Having said that, don’t go there and expect that they carry everything that you can get online. They can get anything quickly. On to the real important stuff. When you go to a pro, the expectation should vary based on your own knowledge and skill level. I need a pro that can drill very accurately, and can help me fine tune a ball with layouts and coverstock maintenance. These guys are outstanding in that area. When a less accomplished bowler or a beginner go to pro, they need to be fitted properly, and they need help with ball selection. Again, outstanding. They do not rush you. They do give very good advice. Highly recommended.

So far I have bought all my new equipment at the Bowlers Experience in Fremont. Hadn’t bowled for over 25 years so my equipment was very out dated. Joined a league at Cloverleaf Family bowl and started bowling with my retro equipment and was I suprised at how things had changed. Talked to the Pro Shop and they helped me with a new pair of shoes and when it came time to purchase a new ball Scott came to the lanes I was bowling on and recommened a ball according to my bowling style. He took my measurements and had the ball for me within within an hour of deciding which one I wanted. Tried the new ball for the first time last night. What a pleasant suprise. Looking forward to improving as the weeks go by.

I highly recommend The Bowlers Experience. I had a fit problem on a ball I had drilled in my home town. I had heard good things about the staff at Cloverleaf, so I called at six o’clock in the evening and spoke to Jack Byrd. I explained my fit problem the best I could over the phone and asked if I came down there tonight, and bought a new ball, would he be able to spend some time fitting me correctly. He advised me to bring my current ball with me, and he would attempt to fix my problem. I drove the hour to Fremont and was treated to excellent customer service from a caring pro that had never met me in his life. He spent close to an hour correcting the span and thumb pitch on my ball, and even stayed open past his closing time.

I traveled a pretty good distance to come to this Pro Shop because I heard the customer service is out of this world. Negative. As soon as I walked into the shop I was a little disappointed by the tiny selection they had. Mainly it was because I don’t really have a lot of options to choose from in terms of bowling gear. The old man working at the shop paid zero attention to me as I looked around at the 8 different shoe types this place had to offer for men. It was like staring at a shoe stall at the flea market. After a good 10 minutes of waiting for the guy to finish his conversation with another old man, he came over and tried his best to assist me. All he told me was pick a shoe that fit… Duh. I was hoping for an expert’s take on the different shoe brands, what would be a decent shoe to start wearing when you get started. What to look for in a bowling shoe, recommendations etc. I suppose going during the morning was ill-advised since its elderly rush hour at the bowling alleys. All-in-all, I am not impressed and don’t think I’ll head back anytime soon. My ‘Bowler’s Experience’ was mega lame.

I needed some adjustments to my equipment, so looking for a shop close to where I work I came about Bowlers Experience. I am horriable bowler but am very paticular about my equipment. I told Scott I was very anal and everything has to be perfect. He gave me a look that said«ok I can do that and I am good!» I was hesitent because he gave me that look, but after everything was done, and a couple of adjustments, because my thumb is not a perfect circle, he was right! He is GOOD!!! I WILLBEBACK for a new ball, and HIGHLYRECCOMEND Scott. He is not much of a Storm fan as I am, but his knowledge on drilling is great. I asked him to take my specs and offered to give them to me, incase I wanted to go somewhere else to drill, which was Extremely nice of him. I passed on that because I found my new guy to punch out all my new equipment. Thanks!!! WOW, Called for Scott and got a harsh gentelman on the phone. I dont pay attention to my equipment and just ask to get my ball drilled and want it to hook. So I asked where should I get the pin placement. His reaction was you should know where it should be, because you are a PRO. What kind of attitude was that? I then called Off the Sheet in San Jose, Even though it is a ways to drive, and got advice from their Pro Tony Reyes. I think I am going to go there now even though it is inconvient to drive. Better customer service there. REALLYDISSAPOINTED now!!!

Good Pro Shop to pick up a new ball, shoes, or even adjust ment to bowling ball. Family owned shop. Knowledgable and always willing to help you out. They carry popular brands Storm, Ebonite, Hammer, Columbia 300, Roto Grip, Track, and Brunswick. There also drill ball from the internet but at a cost.

Its a mom & pop shop. Everyone that works in the store is awesome. They have a lot of knowledge about bowling and are willing to share it with you. They are also really patient and don’t rush you to pick a ball or anything. The selection of stuff is not the biggest, but there is a good selection. If the shop doesn’t have a ball that you want, they’ll order it for you. Also, if you buy a ball, you get 2 free games at Cloverleaf. I’d highly recommend people who don’t know about bowling but are looking to get his or her own gear to go to Bowler’s Experience for advice.

This is the Pro Shop located inside Cloverleaf Bowl. Nothing too fancy, just your typical bowling alley pro shop. They have a decent selection of equipment, and if you know of any particular item(e.g. bowling ball) that they don’t have in stock, they’ll be more than happy to order it for you. Though I typically do my shopping online, bowling(balls) are the one thing that I think warrant the«premium» paid for at a mom and pop shop. Because bowling balls are very much customized to each individual bowler, it’s important that you have an expert to take your measurements and fit you with the right ball with your own particular bowling style. That being said, I didn’t get a bowling ball here, as I already have one… but the gentleman at the pro shop was very helpful. My(growing?) thumb had been getting stuck in my ball one too many times causing numerous near-fatal experiences… so I went in, and the man helped drill my thumb hole out a little bigger. I was expecting(and willing) to pay whatever the typical«drilling» cost was, but he didn’t charge me a dime. THAT’s customer service. After that, I wholeheartedly recommended my cousin purchase his ball there when he wanted to learn how to bowl«right»(with the thumb in)…(which he did last week — and then proceeded to bowl a 221 this week!) When I do decide to get another ball and/or a spare ball, I’ll definitely buy it here.
