Love it here. Great teas and food. Totally worth the busy parking lot. Gets a little busy sometimes, but moves plenty quick.

Honey green milk tea with boba is so delicious here! Not too sweet, not too much ice and fresh chewy boba! I ordered online on EAT24 cuz I forgot my wallet at home(oops). The poor young worker said he wasn’t trained on how to see online orders, but he was the only worker I saw in the shop. Wtf to the owner for not training the single worker so minus 1 star. Other than that, it’s great!

I just went to Boba Queen for a to go fried combination bento box for lunch today. I was so happy when I got home cause I was kind a hungry. Unfortunately, the rice from this bento box taste like leftover heat up rice and the soy sauce tofu was way too over cooked and too salty. Also, how come it looks kind a black on the tip of the eggs? I don’t even wanna talk about the cabbage…, they don’t look fresh enough to eat. I only ate the fried tofu, fried fish ball and popcorn chicken from this bento and they are not the best quality in this area. I am very disappointed. I had never written any review on Unilocal before but I just wanna tell the truth so other ppl don’t need to buy a bento box like this one.

Ordered 3 drinks and an egg puff. They gave us the first two drinks and forgot the other two items. They moved on to another customers order and didnt get us the other two items until we asked and 20 min later. I saw two other customers they did the same thing to. Worst boba place ive been to in the bay area. They dont seem like they know what they are doing.

I come to this spot all the time and ever since they’ve got new management, the service has been declining. The language barrier has increased and calling ahead of time is pointless, you will still need to wait at least 10 minutes for a single fried snack such as spicy popcorn chicken or calamari. I would have rated 1 star if I wasn’t a loyal customer with hopes that they’ll improve.

Quick and good ordering process. The cashier was very informative about their drinks. I got the real taro milk tea and the red bean egg puffs. Very extensive menu and lots of drink and food options. The taro milk tea is very flavorful. I really enjoyed it but may be to creamy and chunky for people used to the taro powder milk tea as you can definitely taste the real taro inside. The red bean egg puffs smelled amazing as I waited for it to be made. They are made to order so it takes about 10 minutes to wait for it to be made. Definitely worth the wait as the egg puffs were crispy and airy, with red bean in each bite. Would love to try the fried snacks next time around.

Be careful on what you order menu price is actually different when you pay the cashier. False advertising. Cashiers need improvement.

I’ve been to this place a couple of times after having Phở across the way. I cannot recall what I had the first time but on my last visit I had the real avocado smoothie with boba. While waiting I noticed the place reminded me a lot of quickly by the menu and overall look. When my drink arrived upon first sip it was kind of sweet with light avocado taste and thin. It was Ok but not what I was hoping for. Compared to the place in SF I usually get the same drink, this is not even close. Perhaps another real fruit smoothie is better here? Friendly service rounded the score to 3 stars.

..so me & my cousin ordered condensed milk flavored egg puff & chocolate flavored egg puff… and it was literally just sauce in a little cup next to it. We were expecting the egg puffs to be actually chocolate, not the«original» flavor & condensed milk to be injected into each of the puffs, like we’ve had before somewhere else. But I guess they don’t do that and just give you sauce… although the egg puff itself was really good, it was just really misleading lol so disappointing also, I did order an egg puff to go but just the original one because it was so good w/o the sauce and I was waiting for a good 20 minutes. I was so confused because there was no one else there. I went up to the counter and they looked at me with confusion«dd you need something?» I asked them about my egg puffs and I saw them just sitting there… they forgot about them. so sad!!! But I mean I’d still go back. i love their original egg puffs, just minor fixes?

This place used to be Quickly, but boy is this Quickly super slow. Anyway, Boba Queen has taken over Quickly but their concept is still the same. Everything looks the same, it’s just the banner outside that’s changed. They normally play Big Bang Theory on the tv. I don’t care for the show, but if you’re waiting quite awhile, it can actually be entertaining. Anyway, this place opens earlier than Tea Six so if I’m getting groceries at 99 ranch and want boba, I will resort to this place. The only drink I get is the passion fruit green tea with lychee jelly. Sometimes, or most of the times, they run out of lychee jelly. How do they do that?! Does everyone get my drink cause I’m da bes? Just kidding. It’s just this place is NEVER busy so how can they run out of lychee jelly? I don’t think lychee jelly goes well with milk tea, just fruity drinks in my opinion. I don’t recommend their milk teas. If it’s the same bases as Quickly, then yeah, most definitely not. It’s way too sweet and powdery for my liking, but if you roll that way, then so be it. Service? Could be a little bit more upbeat, then maybe more people will come in with a better mindset. This place is so dead, but their passion fruit green tea is what keeps me returning when I’m desperate. Hah.

Came here after going to the Ranch 99 next door on a Monday afternoon. Place was pretty empty. Ordered the Jasmine milk tea hot and popcorn chicken. I forgot to ask for less sugar, so my drink was super sweet, but nonetheless, it was still good. Took a while for it to come out though. The popcorn chicken was pretty good and the bag was filled to the top. just Make sure you add the chili powder. We didn’t see it until later. Place is pretty clean as well.

5 stars for the food! They fill it up to the top of the bag, like where else does that too? Lol. Not in Sacramento(cause I’m from there) & not much other places I’ve been too. My significant other got me the mint chocolate snow and it taste really good!!! :) Definitely will be coming back here when I’m in the area again!

The boba queen just modified their place, they have a shelf with some games like monopoly, poker and also some books, being more comfortable and enjoyable to stay. They also push out some new drinks, the most famous one is mango slush which is made of fresh mango! Besides, the small cup is back! You can order either large size drinks or small size drinks. The servers are all friendly and glad to help you make your own drink(even some drinks are not on the menu) just ask and they will help.

I’m updating my review as with neighboring competition, I wonder how this place will end up staying in business. There is new competition that recently opened up about a mile away from this place called T4, near American High School. I’ve been back recently, and I’ve noticed they’ve raised the prices again on practically all their menu offerings. I get that they are a family run business and all but, they gotta stop raising there prices. The more they keep raising there prices, the less customers they will get. They use to get good business from the local high schoolers from American, but T4 just opened up directly across from the school, and guess what they have cheaper prices on drinks and snacks. This place also only has one size drinks only. I’m not sure how this place will manage with neighboring places have cheaper boba that is equally as good, if not even better.

SNOWSMOOTHIEBOBADRINKS I’ve been to this location when this was Quickly. When the new owners came in I still came here to purchase snow smoothies with boba. Inside the stores still has the Quickly layout. The food here is pretty good — a different type of fast food unlike McDonald’s, KFC, and etc. There are sweet/dessert items such as egg puffs and deep fried Oreos. The two food items I tend to buy are the crispy squid head and popcorn chicken. You can have a meal with the popcorn chicken rice bowl. Though the popcorn chicken can be slightly heavy Boba Queen’s popcorn chicken is tastier than KFC’s. I mostly come here for the snow smoothie with boba, which are chewy tapioca balls. At the beginning the snow smoothie drink I bought the most was avocado snow with boba. Then I branched out to try other snow smoothie drinks such as durian snow smoothie, lychee snow smoothie, and coconut snow smoothie. Besides the snow smoothie I’ve ordered one slush drink. The flavor I got for this type of drink was red bean. However I found this drink to be too watery even with boba. On the menu there are several items for snow smoothie. One item that isn’t listed under the snow smoothie section is red bean. I didn’t want to order the red bean slush again. One day I asked if I can have a red bean snow smoothie with boba. I was able to have that drink. The red bean snow smoothie with boba was creamer than the red bean slush. The reason I keep on ordering the snow smoothies at Boba Queen is that the snow smoother has that silky, smooth texture of a milk shake but not as heavy. There are so many snow smoothie drinks the decision to choose one is really hard to make. These snow smoothies are so addicting. This can explain why a lot of customers come here to this small store. I believe there are more customers now than when this place was Quickly. One thing I would recommend that you be careful is not to order too much food with these drinks as the total cost can almost be like eating at a diner. Overall if you want a soothing snow smoothie with boba I recommend Boba Queen.

My first time here was a pleasant one. I ordered a watermelon slush with boba and was very happy. It was a warm, spring day and I was walking around town with a friend. So why the bad review… I had a milk tea craving all weekend and thought I would pick some up before my grocery run for the week. My usual drink is peach green tea with boba but I also like the occasional mango milk tea with mango jelly. I ordered my mango milk tea with mango jelly and upon the first sip, I wasn’t too happy. The milk tea tasted like regular milk tea. There was no mango flavor to it at all. If anything, there was a hint of mocha to it. When Starbucks launched their glass, bottled frappucino, I drank them all of the time and don’t consume anything mocha flavored anymore. I think the worst part was that the drink was pretty much lukewarm. That should have been the red flag but I was thirsty and really wanted to satiate my milk tea craving. I drank almost all of it by the time I was home. Luckily, my boyfriend didn’t drink all of his bubble tea so he was fine. That and he doesn’t have caffeine sensitivity like I do. They only have large cups, so that didn’t help my cause too much either. And ladies anyone else think that a «bubble tea» means a milk tea with boba?! That’s what we thought but it was just milk tea. It was my fault that I didn’t sleep well all of last night since I can’t have too much caffeine. But I’m pretty sure the milk was bad because I felt like throwing up a few times last night. I love Tea Station, which is in the same plaza, but I wanted to try the milk tea here. Never again. I’ll either be at Tea Station or Tapicoa Express off of Decoto for my drinks!

Small café offering an assortment of drinks, snacks, and bento boxes. They are located in a moderate-sized shopping plaza off of Fremont Blvd and Paseo Padre Parkway, near 99 Ranch Market, Phở 99, and several other eateries. They share a big parking lot with the neighboring stores, but finding parking can be tough on weekends & evenings. The shop also offers a limited amount of seating inside & a TV playing sitcoms. This has become my family’s go-to spot for boba drinks recently — their prices and portions are fair, flavors are good(not overly sweet, but just right!), and staff is personable. They have a ginormous menu featuring a variety of different drink flavors and food snacks, but their topping/filler options seem to be limited compared to other places I’ve been to. For example, they don’t carry popping boba(yet). So far, we’ve tried their almond milk tea, coconut milk tea(my fav!), honey & kumquat black tea, and honey dew milk tea. Everything has been delish :)

I went here with my boyfriend for the first time on Sunday after lunch. We walked in and on the television it had The Big Bang Theory, one of my favorite shows, so that was a good sign. LoL. I ordered the bubble milk tea with pudding and it was pretty good. It wasn’t overly milky, which is a mistake many boba places, and the pudding was good too. We went back a couple of more times and I got the peach milk tea and taro milk tea. Their taro milk tea is made from real taro and not the powdered stuff, so that was a big plus, but it can get pretty thick and unappetizing after some time. When looking at the menu, it’s easy to get overwhelmed with all of the choices, but the cashier is very nice and is more than willing to help you. While the drinks are great, Boba Queen doesn’t exactly stand out as a tea establishment. If we are in the neighborhood, we might stop by, but it’s not our go-to boba place. Boba Queen does have summer and non summer hours. The hours listed on Unilocal are for the summer. For non summer hours, they are 11am-9pm.

This place is located in the ranch 99 market plaza. My boyfriend and I came here on a Sunday. Since it was a Sunday, parking was pretty hard to find so be ready to wait for a while or go stalk some shopper to find a parking spot here. This place kind of look like quickly because their menu and layout looks the same. I ordered tiger milk tea and a mini octopus rice bowl. Both the food and the drink came pretty quick. The tiger milk tea was pretty good and the mini octopus was good too. However, the rice from the rice bowl was so gross. The rice was not even rice. It was more like half congee and half rice. Overall beside the rice, I think this place is alright when it comes to the drinks and snacks. I will most likely come back and just get their drinks. I won’t be going out my way to get drinks here because I think there are better places but if I’m around this area I’ll get a drink here.
