Forreal tea six? I use to love coming to this place, i guess it’s because this location is lacking traffic and is always empty that they forget how to properly treat their customers. My mother and I ordered the usual pop corn chicken but this time the chicken had a rotten smell and taste! The worst part… my mother notified the workers that this was an issue… and THEYHADTHEADASTYTOYELLEDATHER… terrible customer service, terrible food. Don’t waste your time, money, and risking of getting food poison.

Tea Six has been my go-to dine in boba shop for years with my friends, and there is always plenty of parking. While they have raised their prices within the past year, the costs are still comparable to similar boba places. I love the drinks here. In general, the drinks here are on the sweeter side(which is what I prefer). The food tastes good, but the portions are a little small for the price. Tea Six is similar to Tea Station in taste and price. However, there is usually no wait to be seated. The restaurant usually doesn’t get overly crowded, so the noise level never gets too high. This makes Tea Six an ideal place to relax and hang out with friends. My friends and I will sometimes spends hours hanging out here. They have board games/cards available for customers to use, and they even have free wifi.

3.5 stars This has become something of a hangout area for us now. They have board games, some large tables and stay open late(12am on weekdays and 1am on weekends). I’ve had their boba milk tea several times and the rose black tea before. The boba is nice and chewy and the milk tea is good. I haven’t tried anything else here because there aren’t a lot of dessert options. There’s drinks and shaved ice but I wish there were more desserts which would make it a good post-dinner spot. Other things to note: there’s a $ 5 minimum for everyone here. This is kind of annoying since a medium milk tea with boba comes in at $ 4.50 so minus half a star for that.

I love pearl tea and this place has the usual flavors. It’s a nice and clean, and the service is pretty legit for a place like this. A good place to get pearl tea. They do have a minimum $ 20 charge for credit cards so make sure you have cash.

I gave a okay rating because of the following: 1. The overall positioning of this restaurant/tea-shop is ambiguous. If for a tea-shop/coffee-shop, the table setups just look like a restaurant, they are just too«dinner-table-organized» and without a cozy environment like Starbucks to take a sip of coffee and do the works. There is also lack of coffee shop decorations and stuff. If positioning for a restaurant — when why there are so many pages of boba tea, Chinese tea, milk teas on the menu, and the name of this whole place is «tea six»? 2. I ordered a tea and a coffee, and they are just passable. The ice tea is provided in a styleless plain glass, quite contrary to this place’s intended«ancient China» atmosphere(provided the style of their desks). Then later the coffee was poured in an ancient style ceramic cup. That is really anti-style, and themeless. Also the taste of the tea is not good at well, at one sip I just let it go(still paid the money). The coffee is passable. 3. The waitress attitude is not quite friendly.

Milky. A little too sweet but can ask for it to be less sweet. Tapioca balls are chewy. Regular is $ 4 – 4.25 and large is $ 5 – 5.25 which is pretty pricey for boba.

NOTETOREADER: Before I get my head chopped off by other Unilocalers.(This has happened before) I am about to go on a 14 hour flight, out of the country. During this flight I have nothing to do and I know I have slacked on my reviewing because I have been crazy busy! Although every time I have gone somewhere new I made it a point to check-in so I may go back and review later. It has taken me a while to review these restaurants but I am finally doing so. Before somebody says«you posted x9843058048 reviews in one day», please know that I am reviewing as my flight is in the air and will be posting once landed at my destination. Thank you! Also, I review on trip advisor before anybody goes psycho crazy on me saying they seen this review elsewhere. I post on both Unilocal and trip advisor of my reviews! Thank you(: Location: In the Ranch 99 Plaza, right next to Sweet Orchid and Double O Liquor Store. Parking available but may be busy because of grocery store! Customer Service: They are pretty quick on getting food in and out! Décor: Fairly sized, a couple of tables, nothing extra fancy. A lot of people I see get togo orders every time I come in to be honest! Presentation of Food: – How did the food taste?: The first time I got this I had to point at the menu lol I think it is the minced pork with rice which is my FAVORITE, just thinking about it makes me want to drive to Fremont and get it for dinner tonight. The boba drinks have always been good every time I have come in and their snack as well. Overall Experience: Good Would I Come Back?: All the time!

It hurts me to give Tea Six 3 stars :(they used to be a 5 star in my opinion. This place used to be a daily routine for me. The manager came from Tea Station so it tasted exactly like Tea Station but it was cheaper, slightly tastier, and much better service. There was 2 old men here who I always saw and they were so friendly! Their boba was perfectly chewy and sweet. And I NEVER like boba. Their milk tea had the perfect amount of tea and milk and was never watery. I heard from my friends the quality dropped recently after I came back from college. I checked it out myself and unfortunately, they were right :(it got more expensive too. Maybe they changed managers or something but the old men weren’t there. My friends haven’t seen them the past few months! And the green milk tea I had was WATERY! Not super. But definitely not as flavorful. Boba was too soft and not sweet enough. My friend got a passion fruit green tea which was great. It has the same taste that I’m used to. I’m hoping this is a one time deal and it tastes the same next time I return. If so, they will rightfully get a 4 star!

So I came here one day after lunch. I really wanted boba and you would think since you’re in Fremont almost all boba places would be decent. Well I was wrong. I ordered the milk tea and it was $ 5 which is kinda pricey compared to like T 4 or something but whatever. When I got my drink it wasn’t filled all the way. Also it was super watery. It tastes just like water that had sugar added to it. It was really disappointing. On the bright side the boba was good. If you want to dine in and drink your boba there you have to leave a tip or something like that. I just remember that there was a catch to it all. I didn’t try their food, but hopefully the food is much better than the boba.

This place is nice, cute little place. It really feels like a small Taiwanese snack shop. Tonight, I ordered spicy chicken and lychee snow ice with boba. Pros: — Food comes out quickly — Waiter was nice tonight — Warm atmosphere Cons: — Food is alright — Overpriced menu — Small portions
I have mixed feelings about Tea Six. The atmosphere is nicer than your average boba place, flavors handmade and the food better than average. Their ideas about what coffee is like, new waitresses and clear mishaps with those handmade drink recipes makes it less than ideal. The biggest differentiator between Tea Six and other bubble tea places is the atmosphere. There aren’t any teenagers hanging out constantly, the chairs are nice, there are no board games and the teas come from actual tea instead of a powder packet. For this reason the prices are a bit higher than even a Starbucks drink. Because they are handmade you won’t find some of your favorite super sweet flavors either, though they have nice add ins and the ability to customize more than usual. i know I will be back because it is passable and my best friend likes this place. I won’t go out of my way to visit or ever specifically crave their stuff vs somewhere else, but it is solid.

Why did my almond milk tea taste like mustard? I don’t know but I don’t think I’ll be back to find out a second time. The popcorn chicken was pretty good but the quantity was really small and sad. I would definitely recommend not going near their closing time but maybe they’ll be better at a normal time.

Came here with a party of 8, the server had another customer move to a different table in the middle of their meal. There was one sweet waitress but the older asain waitress was very confusing and pushy about getting our orders quick. Anyhow, the drinks were either too sweet or just weird. They ran out of boba when were there so we never actually tried their boba. Most of us tried substituting our drinks with other topping which made the drinks taste worse. Coming from a group of boba fans, only ¼ of our party actually liked their drinks. Oh yeah. The popcorn chicken is pretty small. Theres a $ 5 minimum for all dine in guests. The place is pretty pricey compared to other boba placed nearby, yet the quality worse.

Would not recommend this place. Their milk tea was mediocore and the experience was not so good. I ordered Almond milk tea and spicy fried chicken. The Almond Milk Tea had a syruppy Almond taste mixed with sweet mustard. I tried the other tea my friends ordered and they fine except for the fact they were all too sweet. The spicy chicken wasn’t too bad, but the quantity they give you is like child size. Not such a good idea to come here an hour before closing, especially during the holidays. We had a group of 8 and they didn’t have enough seats to seat us together. We told the waitress it’s okay if we can’t be seated together, but she insisted and asked a couple to move different tables for us. I do not know their relations but it put us in an awkward position and made us feel bad.

SoooOOo expensive. It’s a relative of Tea Station which is also overpriced all the time … Tea is OK but not worth the price which was like nearing $ 6 for my large drink which may have had a topping? The takoyaki was OK and OK-ly priced ^_^ Also this shop opens later than many boba shops. But still too overpriced!

4.5÷5 stars. This is probably my favorite place to get boba in the Tri-City area. Their green milk tea is my go-to drink here and it is always made perfectly. Not too sweet or too bitter. It is quite comparable to Tea Station, only I think Tea Station offers you to customize your level of sweetness and how much ice you prefer in your drink. Tea Six could probably do that too, only unless you ask them yourself. Personally, I would not get the food here, it is pricey. Drinks are a little pricier than normal boba shops, but the quality of their drinks give them a reason to be up there. If you plan on chilling here, take note that you would most likely have to pay tip. I usually would not pay tip if I am buying a drink, but definitely if it is food. I mean, do people usually tip if they sit down to drink boba??? Anyway, this used to be my go-to spot to study because it never gets crowded, there are plenty of tables and the music is not blasted like others for instance. Customer service is fair. They are Mandarin speaking employees so they might not get what you are saying at first, but be patient with them, they are doing their best.

I star for one reason– credit charge. If I take away the credit charge, easily 4 stars. Why oh why must these type of places do this to me?! They take something that is so good(the goods their business provides) and they taint it with petty and illegal charges. If you want to use your card, debit or CC and the total is under $ 20 they will charge you $ 1 to use your card. Not everyone carries cash, its 2015. Charging your customers an extra $ 1 because it costs you to accept card payments is your problem, not the customers. Its not like you’re never busy and starving for business, because every time I’m in there, plenty of patrons are forking loot over to you. It’s pathetic. _______________________________ Put this in a cup and add bobba to it: California Civil Code section 1748.1, prohibits«retailers» from adding a surcharge when a consumer chooses to use a credit card instead of paying by cash. A retailer is someone who sells goods or services or anything else of value, but it does not include government entities and public agencies, such as the state, a city, or a county. Although retailers may not add a surcharge when you use a credit card, they can provide a discount to customers who pay cash. If you know of a merchant that you think is improperly charging people extra for using credit cards you may file a complaint with the Attorney General at . _______________________________ I know it’s only a dollar, but it is ONLY a dollar, suck it up and play by the rules… I wonder what it will take to get all these places to wise up and stop jerking us around?

Minimum 20 dollar credit charge?!? I don’t understand why they force customers to order 20 dollars worth of items when their main thing is milk tea. Their milk tea is also relatively expensive for the size it offers. I tried both their regular milk tea and taro milk tea. I will say their Boba is made pretty soft yet chewy. However, the milk tea is nothing special and not worth the 4~5 dollars they charge. It’s freaking small!!! The only good thing is it opens late
