Popped in this wonderful store because they had a large assortment of my favorite holiday ornaments… Old World Christmas.
Came out with a perfect golden hedgehog, and a very interesting history of the company that makes them.
It seems the company split… one group got the molds, and one the use of the heart shaped labels with OWC inscribed (if you have older ornaments you will know what that is) The group with the molds went to manufacture in China, and they are still in business. The other group has not fared as well. The Chinese ornaments are still painted with the original German paints, and they have released many old designs, including my charming hedgehog.

We stumbled onto Antique Treasures while visiting the Niles area in Fremont one weekend. We were quite impressed. They had a wide selection of very unique items at extremely reasonable prices. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We ended up purchasing a dining room set from them that day. They delivered it and set it up for us the next day. We could not be more satisfied. We’ll definitely be back.

Antique Treasures is a great shop to visit anytime during the year. Their store is filled with antiques ad many beautiful items. The owners are very knowledgeable about antiques and make you feel like family when you visit their store. I personally love how they add season charm to their store. My favorite seaon is Christmas when the store is transformed into a winter wonderland filled with beautifully decorated trees. It is really worth a trip to Historic Niles District in Fremont for a visit.

One of many great antique shops in Niles. An Antique shoppers dream! We found some good comics and they had a ton of pottery.
