Hot dog named«Chicago» was the farthest thing from a Chicago dog. Crazy expensive & my kid ate 1 bite & wouldn’t touch it. It was brown & overall nasty!

A neat looking hot dog food truck located in the heart of Seaside that just didn’t measure up. I passed this place and thought, «Who doesn’t love a good hot dog at the beach?» My wife got the Chicago-style dog and I had the all beef dog. Orders came out in about 5 minutes and you could tell by looking that it was going to be bad. The all-beef«Frank Dog» was long and skinny and was dwarfed by excess bun. Even after dousing it in Wild Bill’s spicy mustard and ketchup the dog was tough and chewy with little flavor. The Chicago dog was slightly better and I would opt for that on future visits. Trailer was well-decorated and had a few beer options(corona, 30a beach blonde, etc). Prices on dogs were $ 6-$ 8. Line was light for this trailer as compared to the neighboring ones. Typically closes around 9p. They accept cards but not American Express. Seating is outdoor only.

Just a simple hot dog? Absolutely! A loaded, spicy, possibly regrettable, but totally worth it Chicago Dog? Got that too! Old fashioned Coke in a glass bottle? Yup! They have that too! Love this place! Fabulous customer service! They remembered my name and order too! Cool! I’ll be visiting again for sure!

The worst hot dog. Ever. Cool truck and location but my very non– picky husband hated his dog. There was more bun than dog, the onions lacked any flavor(how does one take the flavor out of sautéed onions??), and the meat was a weird color and horrible texture. And it was $ 7! Do. Not. Eat. Here.

Cool concept, ordered hot dog, had more bun than dog. Got that and a sprite almost $ 10

I had the Brat Dog. A great dog! Be sure to try the red relish — it has a bit of a kick and is GREAT! This little Airstream trailer serves up a super dog — stop by and try one!

Went there for a small bit last night. Had a cheese dog. Prob one of the worst dogs I’ve ever eaten. Very weird texture and tasted funny. Very disappointed. Better off eating next door at one if the other trucks. Try selling Vienna hot dogs. At least it’s a real dog.

Ate there tonight because we needed just a little something to eat for dinner. Not a big meal. I have been to Seaside for many years. This is by far the worst food I have ever had in Seaside. My hot dog had a texture and taste like it had laid on a rotisserie all day. I’ve never had one of those gas station hot dogs, but this is what I would imagine it would taste like. Yuck.

Since I’m a special meat eater, this is just for their pretzels. They advertised pretzels, so I went to get one(note: $ 5+) it was cold, hard and tasted old. I don’t know about their dogs, but the willingness to sell what I received is a reflection on the business as a whole. I appreciated the food but I would never go back here.

I ordered the Brat dog and a pretzel. The brat skinny, not very flavorful, and I think it was warmed up in hot water. I would expect a real brat, possibly even grilled or something. On top of the not-so-great brat, it was all pretty overpriced. I think I paid $ 16 for a water, brat, and a plain pretzel. Which speaking of the pretzel, it was nothing to write home about. It was very bland tasting. I would never spend money here again. I recommend you try one of the other food trucks there.

Got hotdogs for my two young boys who normally love hot dogs. They refused to finish these dogs after the first bite. We also got a pretzel which they did not like. We spent $ 24 for two plain hotdogs and one pretzel which we ended up throwing away. :(

Hot Dog was good except it was not grilled and was a little slimmy. Start grilling them and you will double the business!

Most unpleasant experience. Brat was overcooked and felt like it had been sitting for way too long. I love hotdogs and brats but would never go to this place again.

Beach Dogs has a Nostalgic retro sign and served in an antique airstream trailer in the water front picturesque Seaside Village. The hot dogs are overpriced and tasteless even with chili and onions . Go to the trailer that sells wonderful freshly made BBQ.

I got the heat dog with cole slaw as a topping. It was fire! This food truck central area was pretty tight in Seaside.

Love that heat dog! Very cute and kinda pricey but it is a gourmet dog with grass fed beef. If you like the spice, get the heat dog. We had two dogs, my girlfriend’s dog was done up Chicago style, and two beers and the cost was just under $ 25. We were there during the 30A Songwriters Festival at lunch time and it was highly amusing. Only one dude was working there at lunchtime! He would take your order at the order window of well polished Airstream then he would move to the kitchen to prepare it. No matter how many people lined up and yelled at him through the order window, he remained unperturbed in the kitchen area until he got the order done and deliver red it to the customer. Then he would help the next person in line, meanwhile, prospective customers are pissed, cussing, and stomping off. The essence of uni-tasking!!!

I had such high hopes from this charming food trailer in a group of several on 30A in Seaside facing the ocean. I ordered the regular Frank for $ 5.95 and I would have had better luck at home. There was nothing but the desire to be proven wrong that would bring me back to try this again. If you cant get the basic right, why would I expect more from your pricier options?

High-quality dogs, then again they should be for the price. Still, pretty much an idiot-proof perfect moment awaits you.

First off. The Unilocal Address is wrong. Just drive or ride your bike to Seaside and park. You wont miss this place. Who wouldn’t love Seaside. What a great community. The dogs were great and there was a selection of different types. Very friendly service. Outside seating only. If one in your group doesn’t want a hot dog there are a dozen restaurants next to each other and across the street with something for everyone.
