terrible. Inconsistent & pricey

I have had their catered food and their pizza. Both were great. Best margherita slice I’ve ever had.

i’ve eaten here a handful of times over the years, each time trying to give them another chance. Just don’t even waste your time, there are too many other great pizza places in the area to piss away your money on food that will either make you sick or leave you sad and disappointed. DODGE THE BULLET.

Extremely rude service and unclean. I couldn’t believe what the staff said to me. It was outrageous and racist. And another time I witnessed cleaning the spatula on the garbage can. I would never recommend this place!

Their chicken slice is awesome but their cheese slices need xtra cheese. There cheese slices have more sauce than cheese.

Take your business somewhere else! I’m disappointed every time I order from this place. The pizza/​food is inconsistent and the service is horrible. It takes an hour for them to deliver a pizza around the corner. Today I ordered a chicken roll and a calzone with pepperoni for pick up and they told me 40 minutes. When I arrive to pick it up my calzone isn’t cooked yet and they tell me they are out of chicken rolls. Why wouldn’t they just tell me they didn’t have any instead of trying to sell me some other junk when I walk in. There are plenty of pizzerias near by that are way better. I ended up calling in the same order to Raimos on merrick road and picked it up in ten minutes. Needless to say I won’t be going back to La via just as I told them when I called to complain.

This is review of the pizza I love. The «grandma pizza» is to DIE for. Its square cut, thin and delicious! My boyfriend introduced me a month ago and I know I love it cuz I dream of it sometimes when I’m hungry and at his house till today lol. Ample space to eat and park.
Had the regular pizza and it is good too
Had the chicken Caesar salad. Chicken is served warm on salad. Nothing to die for but not bad either.

Terrible experience. I called in. The person who picked up was rude and passed me off to someone else. When I spoke to the other guy he was hard of hearing, destroying my order and refused to tell me the price of what I order! Wtf? Service is so rude and 3^rd rate that it doesn’t matter the quality of food. If your in Freeport you’re better going to Raimos or Montana’s seriously.

Love this place… consistently good pizza with the right combination of sauce and cheese and consistently good flavor. Lots of variety as well… I grew up on Gino’s and Vincent’s which are now shades of their former glory days and I used to like Montana’s before they got too big for their britches, though I understand they have since closed. La Via has very good pizza – I have not and would not bother with their pasta dishes and if you are fortunate to get a slice fresh out of the oven you will not be disappointed.
