Thompson’s Westwood

I highly recommend this florist. I have been using them for years. Their employees are always helpful with finding the perfect arrangement that I need. The arrangements are always beautiful and full of flowers. The designers are great. They really know their stuff! The drivers are polite and careful with the flowers. You will not be disappointed with this florist!

Never again! Ordered $ 60 arrangement with $ 10 chocolates. Received call the next day, they had none of the flowers I ordered and no chocolates. Changed flowers added balloons. Order was sent in good time. When I saw the picture of the flowers, it looked like a walmart bouquet. Called and asked and was told it they did even more than the cost. My total order with flowers, two balloons and delivery (local) was over $ 80. So disappointing and no where near the cost. Going back to 1−800-flowers. Stay clear of this one! Heartbroken, this was for a friend going thru terrible time and was meant to be spectacular cheer up… turned into sad disappointment.

Went in to get a simple wrapped flower arrangement (no vase). Walked into the store. It was messy and the young woman at the desk didn’t seem very eager to help me. I asked if I could have some flowers put together… just some carnations and daisies. The young woman did not really answer me but another woman from behind the wall (appeared to be the other young woman’s mother). The older of the two women said «there’s probably an arrangement already made in the cooler.» I looked. There was one lousy arrangement. It looked like someone slapped some leftover flowers together and they already looked wilted. I asked if I could just have one made with some cut carnations and daisies. She said yes, It will be $ 35!!! $ 35 for 6 carnations and what ever other flower because they did not have daisies. When I told her i didn’t need a vase, the price went down to $ 7. Not sure how that worked. But i was worried about the arrangement because when she had picked up some flowers for it, some of the stems were broken. I came out with a half way decent arrangement that cost $ 7. Not bad, but the people there were so unprofessionally dressed and texting the entire time right behind the counter, I could not believe it since this place had gotten such good reviews.

Ordered flowers online for a funeral. Spent $ 45 for 15 stems basically shoved in a vase. Very disappointed.

Very good experience on my first order with Westwood. The online ordering system didn’t perfectly capture what I was trying to get across, but by making a call I found it was easily resolved. Delivered flowers were beautiful (this was a «designers choice» order) and very well received. Will order again!

I couldn’t recommend Westwood Florist enough! I have been ordering regular bouquets for a few months now and they have consistently been impressive. They deliver flowers every 2 weeks to a friend of mine who is going through chemo and every delivery means the world to her.
Westwood flowers’ customer service has been outstanding — they even worked with her on the colors and flowers she likes. So, now, she gets exactly what she wants every time. They are amazing and I couldn’t thank them enough for their part in brightening my friends life during her hard time.
If you are looking for florists in the area, you are sure to be as happy as I am with them :)
