The Blarney Stone is awesome and has the best potato leek soap ever. The staff is always friendly, and helpful. The only downside is the size of the bathroom and there isn’t a changing table, but somehow we always make it work because we enjoy the atmosphere and food at this restaurant.

They are ok food service was not good only one server so service was horrible! They don’t disclose price properly so you have no idea what your bill is going to be. They don’t clearly mark what there gratuity is. Was overall not happy!

Really enjoyed the food and drinks here. Had the Irish breakfast. Wasn’t a fan of the beans, but out of the four places that I have tried with the same meal, this one comes in second. Definitely will return in the future.

This is by far the best Pub I have ever been to. The staff is fantastic and the food… if that’s what sex is like with an Irishman then it’s baby making time. Our bartender Crystal was awesome. We immediately felt welcome and talking with her felt as natural as it does with my friends. Even the patrons were funny and easy to converse with. The atmosphere is comfortable yet intriguing. So much so that we quickly lost 4 or so hours at the bar. This is the kind of place you can’t wait to come back to. Scatter my ashes behind the bar because I can’t stay away too long. I will definitely be returning again… and again… and again… and well, you get it. Go have a pint and a bite and meet some new old friends. You’ll be better for it.

The bartender stole money from me. When I went back, the owners said they would review their tapes and get back to me. They never did and 50 dollars was stolen from me. I will never go back.

Good Neighborhood bar. I was told to try this place for lunch one day while I worked near by. I was told I had to try the burger. The place is a dive, but not is a negative way. Cheap beers, Cheap food, order at a window away from the bar. The burger was better then I expected but nothing too amazing. There is a pool table and plenty of seating space. A small 10 – 12 person bar with a decent drink selection. Don’t expect anything craft. But expect super friendly service. This would be a place I’d hit on my own if I lived near it… BUT I don’t.

Great friendly staff, good prices and they make you feel very welcome. On the weekends they have great live music playing and the band interacts with the crowd. If you enjoy cigars they have a back patio smoking area. The staff take their time to remember your name and any special twists on drinks that you may have if you regularly visit. I will be a regular for sure!!!

Great atmosphere and friendly crowd. Graham, Jim, Sunny and the rest of the staff are very welcoming and helpful. The food is awesome for bar grubs, worth the penny. We love to watch the live act on every second weekend of the month(the old guy is really good). Only flaws, the lack of staff at the front end which is the restaurant. That kinda makes the whole place seems gloomy and empty from outside. But it’s definitely worth to step behind and check the bar out. Definitely our regular spot now.

I have never written a review on Unilocal before, but my husband insisted I write something somewhere about our experience so I gave it 24 hours to see if it still bothered me as much and it really does. We wanted to go somewhere that we hadn’t been in a while for a good dinner to celebrate my oldest son’s last day of school. We got there a 6pm on a Thursday with our two kids and infant daughter. We were the only ones there. Naturally, we were seated right away and from a friendly wait staff. We ordered quickly and got the fruit and cheese plate as an appetizer, it came out pretty quick and with our salads for our entrees. The salads were just mixed greens with a grape tomato and shredded cheese. When our dinner came out everything was super hot so our hopes were up. My husband ordered the shepherd’s pie and it was mediocre at best, not what I remembered at all. He ate half. I ordered the fish and chips and it was a big piece of fish, but was hard as a rock and lacked flavor, it also didn’t come with the coleslaw as described. I had a few bites before I was done, it wasn’t worth the calories. The french fries were just big, once frozen, unseasoned steak fries. Not great. They don’t have a kids menu printed but they do have one, they just tell you what they have so we never actually saw a price. which didn’t seem a big deal to us at all. My kids got the chicken tenders that were so dry and tasteless they only took a few bites of them. These kids meals turned out to be $ 9 each. With tip we spent over $ 80 and went away completely unsatisfied. I wanted to cry. We could have had better food at a cheap chain restaurant and spent half as much and my family would have been happy. We don’t go out to eat but maybe once a month so we expect to get what we pay for and don’t mind paying good money for good food. Unfortunately that didn’t happen. This is not the place it used to be.

Traditional Irish food. She shepherds pie was full of flavor with lots of veggies. The fish and chips were fantastic. What a great place.

I am spoiled to typical Irish Americanized grub from Culhanes in Jax beach and what used to be McKnights of St. Augustine in Fl so when I heard there was a good pub in F’burg, I had to give em a try. It was easy to access from a commuter lot, large and spacious inside and had a very casual bar to belly up to in the back. Have an ice cold beer or drink, ask for Graham or his brother! These guys are friendly and even won an award for their Reuben egg rolls. which btw are SO much better than most places since the contents are chopped finer. The sauce is great too. I also tried the sausage rolls with a horseradish cream. 3/5, only because I’m spoiled to those at Culhanes with their fiery deviled mustard. No cons that I can think of, get in and see them ASAP!

Waited forever for our totally covered«tattooed» waitress to arrive. Would have anticipated in a biker bar… not an Irish Pub. Service sucked! Food was bland, drinks were weak, and there is NO way I’d go back.

This is my favorite spot in town. The corned beef sandwich is out of this world! It’s the only place in town I can get my favorite beer on tap(Kilkennys), a quick joke and a smile with my service(thanks Jim!), and a great time. The live music a couple of nights a week would have been enough to keep me coming back, but there’s also a drink called A Blarney Bomb that simply must be tried. I feel like the people who have had bad experiences here are difficult to please in the first place, because I’ve never dined in a more laid back, comfortable, and friendly place. Cheers!

Every time we visit Fredericksburg we made sure to stop in for at least one meal. My husband swears their Guinness Beef stew is the best he’s ever had and I’ve never eaten anything at The Blarney Stone that wasn’t great. Service is wonderful and the atmosphere is so fun. Just wish the bar area was bigger. Tip: if you buy a pint glass at the Irish shop down the street The Blarney Stone will fill it for free.

Had the shepards pie by which i think i can acurately guage an establishment’s ability to takle irish food. Was not disappointed. The potatoes and meat filling were very tasty. The saltyness of the filling reminded me of corned beef hash though the waitress says it is ground beef. The potatoes balanced out the saltyness very nicely. Lots of veggies inside which is awesome. Plus it comes in two sizes which i am so happy for. I prefer portion control where others want a big meal. I didnt see the full size but the Wee Pie was just enough to fill me and make me happy. Décor — fun and interesting. Wall murals, memorabilia, good lighting. Waitress has great timing and personability. I will come back for the live music in the bar.

Not bad, not great. We had the Chicken sandwhich and fish and chips. The onion rings were outstanding, but the rest was pretty basic. The prices are a tad higher than other Pubs in the area. The service was pretty good and the food came exactly as ordered. The Guiness was great. We’ll probably go back, but don’t feel that we couldn’t live without it.

I have never posted a review on here but after my family’s experience a few weeks ago, I had to say something. Our family went to this place while in town because it had good reviews on Unilocal. We arrived and were seated quickly and there were 3 other tables occupied in the dinning room. We were greated quicky and the waiter came to take our drink and food order within reasonable time. We placed our order and waited to enjoy our late lunch. We waited until it had been 30 mins since we ordered before we tried to get our waiters attention. He said the food would be out shortly. After another 15 mins, we finally got our food but one of the dishes they delivered was inncorect and never ordered. We made a comment that this wasnt acceptable and the waiter mumbled«stuff happens». We decided to ask for the manager after the waiter became hostile and defensive over our simple questions about issues with our service. It just got worse from there. Manager didnt arrive for almost 20 mins, waiter continued to be defensive and never appoligized. Said it happens when they are busy… remember 3 other tables in the whole place, oh and with two waiters! The manager didnt help anything other than make it seem like the entire customer service piece didnt matter. No compensation, no apoligy. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Oh and the food was average with small portions. Thought it would be more after waiting so long for it

We stopped for brunch and it was good but our waiter complained about a very large group of elderly women that came in after we were done. This place is now the biggest disappointment in town, let me save you time and money, GOSOMEWHEREELSE, you will thank me and all of the other reviewers that have told it like it is. Rude is the only way to describe the service. KFC had better service.

I came here on a sunday expecting an Irish pub(as the front window says). Being a Sunday morning I expected it to be quieter than an Irish pub might be on a Saturday night, but it was too quiet. It was like a hospital recovery room or something. I even asked the waitress if there was usually no music and if it was always so quiet. «I don’t know» she said. Maybe she’s new. Anyway, I got a club sandwich and it, was not a club sandwich. It was a chicken breast, with bacon and swiss cheese on marble rye. I guess its not a big deal, but it is also not a club sandwich. I did think their gimmickry was funny though. Everything is so plain and boring, but they try to spice it up by giving routine ingredients these silly names like«Blarney Mayo.» Overall, the food is incredibly boring. The sandwich was accompanied by maybe 7 or 8 «steak fries.» It was not filling or tasty, but it did come with complimentary gas and bloating that has lasted all day. If I could do it again, I would have gotten something at Wawa and skipped overpaying for something so boring.
