DELICIOUS. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was that the service we had when we were there was a little sub par. Our waitress was sweet, but I think she may have been overworked that day. It would not stop us from going back if we’re ever in Fredericksburg again, because the food was incredible! It was shockingly good. My husband and I were blown away. And their patio is just beautiful.

This place was awesome! What a great breakfast we had! My husband and I stayed next door at the Sunset Motel and that place was great too! I had the Banana French Toast and since I was on vacation I decided to also get the Señorita Omlett! Defiantly too much food but so worth it! The French toast was exactly what you want it to be and the Omlett was full of fresh veggies and was made perfectly! My husband got the The Smoked Sammy which was lox with eggs Benedict. He said it was wonderful! We will defiantly come back! Fast, friendly service!

Had the Carlsbad(crab cake Benedict). It was pretty bland. Well prepared, but bland. Potatoes were very tasty though. My wife really enjoyed her food though

My husband and I ate here for breakfast on a weekend getaway trip. The service was great, our coffee and water cups were never empty. I had The French Lady omelette with bacon, Brie, onions, spinach and mushrooms with a side of red potatoes and toast. All of the food was tasty! My husband got the eggs Benedict with crab cakes and didn’t enjoy it as much. I would definitely recommend this place over some of the breakfast restaurants on the main strip of Fredericksburg!

After a Saturday spent on the 290 Wine Trail, Sunset Grill made for a fine Sunday brunch. We skipped the mimosas(okay, we were a little hung over) but really enjoyed our omelettes and biscuits & gravy. The biscuits are amazing. It’s a busy place, but service was good and the food was enjoyable. On our next Fredericksburg trip, our plan is to drink less and have brunch here again. Tip: if the parking spaces are full in front, you’re allowed to park at the hotel next door.

What a wonderful place to have brunch. I had the banana fosters French toast and it was fantastic. My husband had biscuits, gravy and country fried potatoes. They have a nice patio which was dog friendly so our dog could join us. The Wait staff was very attentive. Most definitely will be back.

For real y’all, get the booty to Sunset Grill NOW! After a wonderful day of wine tasting along the 290 wine trail and a fun night of pub crawling through little ol’ Fredricksburg the day before, Sunset Grill was the perfect end to our weekend getaway. We shared sausage & biscuits with gravy(AMAZING!) and eggs with the potatoes and perfectly cooked bacon. But let me tell you, every plate that passed our faces was just another reason to come back or wish I had 3 stomachs. The mimosas were really tasty and weren’t skimpy on the bubbly. The food was amazing! Good & strong coffee, great portions of mimosas, heaping piles of delicious food, and super fast and friendly service made for a wonderful visit!

First time to eat here .fast and friendly service. Both my husband and I were pleased with our food. My only note would be that parking is limited in front .so be prepared to park on the side or elsewhere. I had the Country biscuits and sausage gravy plate.

Long wait for Sunday bunch but well worth it – and they let us sit at the bar and have mimosas while we waited which always helps! Smoked salmon Benedict was to die for. Get the home potatoes extra well done!

So glad I came here for breakfast. It was pretty busy, but the atmosphere was cute and our waiter was very attentive. I had the salmon benedict which I really enjoyed. The portion size was huge though. They put a ton of salmon which I really liked and the muffin was nice and soft. I’d definitely recommend this place to others. Well worth it.

Ok, so we found this place on Unilocal and it looked great so we tried this morning. Omg, yum!!! My wife and I enjoyed a fabulous breakfast here. I got the biscuits and gravy and they were delicious!!! My eggs, over medium, were perfect! She got the bigass sandwich and loved it. It’s huge and is a real neat twist on creating a unique and delicious meal. On a whim, we got one blueberry pancake for«desert». Daaaaaammmmnnnnn!!! Best pancake I’ve had in my life! I think I need a cigarette now, and I don’t even smoke!!! My coffee cup never got low and all food and service quality was excellent. Shayla was our waitress and was perfect. Will definitely be back!

This is a great brunch spot. They have good food, attentive and nice service, tasty mimosas(multiple varieties), and tranquil outside seating. My friends and I had a minimal wait to be seated. We felt the crew here really cared about us enjoying our meal and we did. We started with the zucchini fries which I’d recommend. My friends went the breakfast route and I went with a burger. While it wasn’t bad, I wouldn’t get it again. It seemed like the breakfast options were the way to go. Sunset Grill is a little bit off the Fredericksburg beaten path and I would definitely suggest coming here for brunch.

I ordered the Neptune and my first bite was horrible. Thought I was gonna lose it. I had gotten a bit of the crab and it was old crab and yucky. Service sucked. My glass was empty and I asked for a straw and never got it. Did not like it at all.

Delicious! After years of visiting Fredericksburg and either eating before or dealing with extremely subpar and mediocre food offered along Main St. I did some research and found this restaurant via Unilocal. After reading reviews we decided we would give them a try. We arrived in Fredericksburg around 1030 and figured we would park early and walk so we parked at the Visitor’s Center and walked the 1.1 miles to the restaurant. The walk was relatively easy and the weather was perfect for it. Once we arrived we noticed there was a wait list. I put my name down and found out we would have about a 10 minute wait. Not bad. We waited in the nice Adirondack chairs out front. Very quickly our table was ready and we were seated in a very nice, beach-front cottage style restaurant. Though cozy we were not sitting on top of the other diners. Customer service, as has been mentioned in other posts, was fantastic and prompt. We had coffee and water almost immediately and the coffee was phenomenal. Nothing was left empty. All around us food was coming out and it all looked so good that we had a hard time choosing! We decided to each pick something and split it(Servings were large!). My wife got the Classic Benni while I got the Turkey BLTA. Oh My Freakin’ Goodness that meal was delicious! We split it as planned so we both tasted each and man they were both fantastic. If that wasn’t enough, the prices were lower than any other place we have eaten or looked at in the area. The whole experience was amazing, so much different than the touristy places nearby. Excellent Job!
