Excellent, quaint little restaurant in Fredericksburg! Make sure you have a reservation! We made our reservation the morning for when we wanted to come in for lunch for 4 people. We were greeted and sat right away. Service was great. My only complaint is the food took a LONG time to get to us and really cut into our shopping day. But since the food was so good, I had to let it slide! We’ll be back next time for sure!

Very cute ambiance, but the food was nothing special. They only have one or two vegetarian options. I ordered the Good for You sandwich with a house special salad. The bread had nuts and raisins in it, which ruined the overall taste of the sandwich for me. I wasn’t expecting it. My meal also wasn’t as filling as I thought it would be. If you order a side of fresh fruit, it’s not cut into usual small cubed pieces. Instead, you will get three very large chunks of various fruits, peels included. We made reservations, since we heard it can get busy. While we were waiting for the rest of our party, we wandered around the gift shop attached to the restaurant. Lots of random, cute-sy things. The parking lot is easy to miss. Drive down the cobblestone pathway that’s right next to the building.

Make reservations. And prepare yourself to dine amongst the town seniors. Don’t try any funny business with the hostess either. We tried to bring a 5th person for a reservation of 4 and it was like negotiating with Putin. But Yummy! Ginger peach tea, Veracruz salad, and strawberry shortcake were delicious. Service was perfect. They came by and gave us carnations for Mother’s Day.

This was a wonderful place to eat lunch… And dessert. There was a 30 minute wait that went by fast thanks to the gift shop which had lots of pretty things to look at. The wait was well worth it because the food was delicious! We loved the ambiance of Peach Street and our table had a view of the street which made it even better. And even though we were there past closing time no one rushed us, in fact we enjoyed our delicious desserts. We highly recommend this place!

A perfect way to round out our weekend in Fredericksburg. Delicious brunch in an adorable setting. The service was just ok, but we may have caught them on an off day. A great place for a girls brunch or an intimate meeting for two.

I love the peach tree. It is tea room in Fredericksburg, which translates pricey. But the food is fresh, highest quality of ingredients. My favorite is the turkey pocket and dessert is the ice cream pie. Was kind of disappointed to find out the only ice cream is vanilla, fingers crossed they bring back more flavors during the summer as it is dead of winter and I’m sure they don’t sell many ice cream pies. I’ve also had pimento cheese, and the butternut squash soup was awesome. Loved the pepitas on top. My only complaint is the service could be a little friendlier, but as I overheard the demands of the table behind us I thought, no wonder out waitress wasn’t super excited. «Please cut off my crust, and the rind of my cantaloupe.» really? Grown women requesting her crust cut off. I don’t know how people in FBG do it.

Loved this place! Enjoyed an early lunch this past Saturday. I had the sandwich sampler that included a cup of soup. That sampler plate is the best, since it was my first time here it was awesome to get to try all of the signature sandwiches. My favorite was probably the chicken salad followed by the jalapeño pimento cheese sandwich. The jalapeño potato soup had great flavor, but I honestly did not have one chuck of potato in my cup. Some chunky potatoes would have make it a stand-out. The ginger peach iced tea is delicious and we bought some to make at home. I also had a mimosa, which was great! The gift shop is fun to peruse and spend a few more dollars.

Nice décor and views. Would have given it five stars except for the dish I was served. Somebody plopped a piece of packaged puff pastry on a bowl of chickeny filling and called it chicken pot pie. Might it have been their homage to Rather Sweet? Rebecca made her pastry from scratch.

Perfect menu for a fresh and great lunch! Delicious! Locally owned and Fredericksburg friendly. Close enough to walk to or from Main Street . Enjoy!

Peach Tree is a place my family has been going for over 15 years! This place never disappoints! I have never ordered anything that was not fantastic! The Peach Ginger tea is incredible, they have great quiches, soups, salads, sandwiches, etc! My favorite thing is the jalapeño pimento cheese sandwich with their house salad!!! They also have a cute gift shop so be sure to check that out too!

I noticed the reviews on here are very mixed. But we had a great lunch! I ordered the sandwich sampler, and I loved everything on it! Our waiter did not start off on the best foot, but he defiantly made up for the small mishap. The peach cobbler is really good! We will return whenever we come back this way.

The pimento cheese sandwich is great. There is a bit of a spice flavor that is yummy. But the chicken salad sandwich; dull and plain. The flavored ice-t was good too. The Ceasars salad was nice, had garlic no anchovies. The portion sizes for the price is expensive. It is worth trying once.

Great place for Gluten Free diners! They work hard to accommodate other dietary issues too. Do speak candidly with the server & if you are still unsure speak to the manager. I’ve eaten there five, six times, great help and really good food. Chicken salad really good!

We always stop here for lunch while in town. A favorite is the Quiche of the day and the meatloaf sandwich.

We’ve been sitting at our table for thirty minutes now. No tea, no bread. The service is terrible!

This place use to be special but the service is one of the worst ever… 15 years ago I visited and felt I had found a true gem. Instead it is now one of the worst run businesses I have ever went to. We walked in waited and waited… We were finally attended to after 10 minutes and the same nonsense continued once we were sat… We left!

Great place off if the main road. Especially if you have had enough schnitzel while you are in Fredericksburg. Lunch only. Great soups sandwiches and bread. Service was a tad slow, but overall a good place to eat. I would come back.

Great food and great service. This is two blocks off the Main Street. It beats all the other restaurants that are on Main Street hands down. I would definitely eat here again.

Absolutely wonderful! It was a suggestion from the sales lady in Distinctive Décor on Main Street. Fresh made soups, salads, quiche, sandwiches and fresh daily specials. They even have homemade frozen entrees to take home.
