Sam’s Pizza & Subs

It’s pretty bad when you are the only person in there and it takes 5 minutes to take your order and then you set there for another 10 minutes. Then the girl that took my order leaves and goes and buys lunch somewhere else. Returns and eats her lunch and finishes it 10 minutes before I get mine. All I ordered was a gyro fries and a small Greek salad (which I didn’t get and didn’t have another 40 minutes to wait for). Like someone else said, the building is dated which I think they were being nice. I’d say it’s nothing a large excavator couldn’t fix. The only thing the place had going for it was the cute girl with the yoga pants and the personality off a potato that took my order. Oh yeah the food. I wouldn’t advise it.

I would come back to this place. Service was sucks. I was the only place there, yet I had to get up myself on several occasions to get a refills… Pizza was under cooked.

Staff was very preoccupied with their cell phones, and very inattentive to guests. Our order was made incorrectly and with almost no one else in the restaurant, our order took 40 minutes. I will not return and regret giving this restaurant a try.

Good food but experinces have not been good.
They messed up our order. They did not have all of the ingredients. They did not communicate this when we placed the order. To make it all even worse, we were not offered any restitution. We inquired about what could be done to make it right and this is what was said «you ordered a buy one get one free and all the problems happened w/​the free one» therefore there is nothing we can do” I was appalled by this explanation. Especially when you consider that this «buy one get one free deal» is not a promotion or deal, but a business plan. It is their logo.
I would strongly recommend avoiding this location. Not only Is managed poorly. But very dated and run down.

I normally like Sams but I’m giving this location 2 Stars only because of the building condition. It’s very dated and you can tell many restaurants have been at this location. It’s not very clean. Toilets have some trouble flushing and so on. I like the small locations that Sams have. Keep it small with lots of locations Sams. You don’t need a big place like this.

Good Italian food on Rt 17. Pizza is good, Gyros are better. I crave Sam’s.

The Hawaiian pizza was good. Delivery took about 35 minutes or so. Overall good experience. I will eat here again.

Pretty good souvlaki, as always. For the first time, I had REALLY awful service. I placed an order to pick up and the woman asked me to hold. I obliged as she yammered with a coworker and talked about being new and continued about something else. After several minutes had passed (with me asking ‘hello’ periodically), I hung up. I called again and I believe someone else answered, but she was fairly rude. I’ve never gotten the most phenomenal service here, but they have never been rude before.

The pizza ended up being good, thus saving this experience from being truly bad. Very good pizza.
Customer service was lacking. Some advice. Communication. Greet your customers when they enter. In the five minutes I waited for someone to acknowledge my presence in your restaurant, I watched you on the phone as you entered a credit card number into the large, clearly visible touch screen on the wall. Then the expiration date.
Delivery people left, then returned in the time I was waiting. Still, no explanation. About 25 minutes into waiting, you asked what my order was. It seemed like you cared for a second, but then you maybe should have reported back to me after you checked on the situation so I didn’t sit about for another 20 minutes wondering what was going on. Three other parties entered and picked up their food while I was waiting.
I read the licenses on the walls several times in my boredom. I had been told 25 minutes on the phone, so I didn’t think I needed to bring entertainment since I got to the place 20 minutes after getting off the phone.
Forty-​five minutes of waiting finally yielded my pizzas and the explanation that the pies had accidentally gone out to be delivered somewhere. That explanation would have been helpful early on, once it was known.
I was offered a 2 liter of soda, my choice for my 45 minutes. I would have been happy with my food for free. A 2 liter of soda would be appropriate for 10 minutes of waiting.

Delivery took a while (Wed 7pm). Wings were good. Pizza was good. Nothing burnt or cold & greasy. Had white pizza & Sam’s special, wings, tiramisu & baklava. Skip the desserts.
