Queen’s Hairbraiding

So livid right now. I spoke with the ladies and requested an appointment for today. Yea a Sunday. She didn’t have a problem as she braided my daughters her the previous Sunday.
I called her this morning and she tried to move it to Monday and I reminded her that we spoke and made the appointment for Sunday.
I made the plans to have this done and now what am I to do? I’m never returning to this place and I would like to let people know not to waste your time with this place.

Now an hour later she calls to say I’m not at the shop… Wow

On 2 June 2014, I went to Queen’s Braiding in Fredericksburg, Va to buy hair. I had corn rolls in the front and box braids in the back. Cynthia, told me she could do feed in braids in the front and box in the back like I previously had. in 3 hours. I said ok, So she took out my hair and washed it. She started with the box braids in the back. she gets less than half way up and STOPS. and Emma starts with the feed in braids (kinda like corn rolls but prettier) and I asked Cynthia if she was going to put more box braids and she said NO, that is the way it was when you came in. I said NO it was further up my head she starts ARGUING with me that it wasn’t. then her and Emma started talking in their language and I know they were talking about me and I said if you talking about me you need to speak English. She said we not talking about you. I know they were. I just so happen to have PICTURES of my last hair style and showed them she STILL argued with me. and said if I want more box braids I would have to pay more money. I was already paying $ 130.00 plus $ 16 for 2 packs of hair which you don’t see the packs they come out the back with the hair in a knot. You never know how much they actually use but you paying $ 8 a pack. I said I am not paying more money so just do what you doing. I will never come here again. CYNTHIA said good don’t come back any more. Then she left the salon. No bye to me or anything. Emma finished my hair but she was co signing with Cynthia and I showed her the pictures too. OH and I had a 10% coupon and Emma said we don’t take them any more, I said well it doesn’t expire until 15 June 2014 how you not accepting it. She said let me call Cynthia and see. They talk in their language and I know they were talking negative about me but she only took off $ 10. I said you can keep the other $ 3 and she said no you can’t use it on a take out and wash. That is NOT what the coupon says but I didn’t argue cuz I knew I would NEVER step foot in there again. Very UNPROFESSIONAL, Place is not clean and they talk in their language (yell) to each other the WHOLE time your there they ignore you and you can’t even hear the TV they are so loud. They just lost 4 clients!

So the woman who previously worked on my hair did a HORRID job. Twist unraveled after four days. I called and talked to the owner and she is taking a look AND fixing my hair.
My hair was fixed without charge by the original stylist. I am very happy now.
