Very disappointed. The French onion soup gets poor rating, next to no cheese in it, next to no bread. Not like their soup in past years. Cheap cheap on their part.

I love this location because they have a drive thru. Seriously, who can complain? The service is fast and accurate and you can be lazy by not leaving your car.

Not sure why people are unhappy with this place, but I have never had a bad meal there ever. My wife either. Now, I’m not a fan of their espresso drinks, the mocha tastes like they use Hershey’s syrup. Other than that, the food is on point. Today I had the steak and white cheddar panini and it was awesome. The cobble stone muffin was equally wonderful. My son had his favorite chocolate croissant(always good) and my Wife had a half sandwich(don’t remember which one) and she was very happy. Their breads are always good. They’re deserts have never failed us. The bagels are the best, so many varieties and good and chewy. You can’t go wrong at this place. Notice the bad reviews are short reviews? That should tell you something. If you go, try the apple muffins. My favorite thing they have there.

This Panera has all the same menu options as every other Panera. So why five stars you might ask? It’s what separates the poor from the average from the great, the service. Not to mention, this Panera features something your«average» Panera does not. A DRIVETHROUGH! I’ve been waiting for this option my entire adult life, and this location has it. Not only did I utilize the drive-through here, but I rolled up to the window and my bag of food was literally waiting for me. It was the fastest and most efficient service I have ever received. Panera usually takes 5 – 10 minutes to prepare on a good day, because the quality of what you’re getting is a cut above the rest. Which is why it made this instant service so impressive. The udon noodle Asian salad, and black bean soup was phenomenal and I will definitely be frequenting this Panera for a LONGLONG time…

My family came here during typical dinner hours on a Sunday and the dining area was very empty. The girl that took our order was named jessalyn, and looked so irritated and stale. My mom was asking what else was in a sandwich item and Jessalyn just rattled off items and she wouldn’t slow down and repeat it to my mom. It was so robotic and definitely disappointing customer service. There wasn’t even a line when we ordered. The drink bar was a mess and there was tea everywhere on the counter. Our order did come out in a few minutes, so the kitchen staff was on top of things it seemed.

This location literally had no pasta, not even close to closing time. Drink machine absolutely wrecked and broken and gross, rude cashier that literally rolled her eyes at me when I asked for Mac and cheese, said they ran out and I asked for tortellini, and then was like«we literally have no pasta» and rolled her eyes again. There was no iced tea or rolls either. It’s like they ran out of everything. Everything sucked

First time. Eh. That was going to be the review, but Unilocal wants more. Nothing special. Overpriced.

They were out of EVERYTHING. I went at 7pm, they were open for three more hours! I suggest if you want to make sure you get what you want go early.

Food is nothing to write home about — it is downright TASTELESS! Bakery section gets a B minus. If you ever go through their new drive-thru window, watch out as it seems they just want you to have the fastest experience, and not the best. Some recent examples my wife and I had: missing items, burnt bagels and panini sandwiches, cold coffee, meat in breakfast items that are not supposed to contain meat, especially if you don’t eat pork products, careless packaging. etc. etc. etc. It’s better to go across the road to WaWa, IMHO…(Complaining to management will make no difference…)

Love the service and atmosphere. Very good food, the atmosphere makes you want to sit and enjoy your coffee, read as book or just have conversation with a friend. The best bagels around and the Hazelnut coffee is one of my favorites.

I’ve only been through the drive thru but this Panera is great! I usually get their muffins and decaf lattes. I’ve also had their chicken noodle soup and ham and Swiss sandwich. They are always quick through the drive thru and friendly! Can’t say how the inside of the restaurant is, but the food is great!

I’ve eaten at this location fairly often but not so much recently and now probably not at all. My last two visits were pretty rough. There always seems to be a line at the cash register. Although there are three registers they only ever seem to have one operating. Their prices have had a slow creep upward till now they’ve passed the tipping point for value. The food is okay but too expensive for what it is. This last time I got soup to go. When I opened the soup it was the wrong soup. When I took it back I was hassled by the manager(?) who didn’t want to give me what I ordered saying too much time had passed for me to return it. I walked back out with the wrong soup. i don’t intend to go back.

First of all, let me say I love Panera… their food is always great and the store I usually go to is excellent! I stopped in this location because I happened to be in this area with my mother to get lunch. I ordered something(I will admit) that was very complicated. I apologized to the girl while ordering it and she was completely careless and looked totally zoned out– no big deal, happens to the best of us. Regardless, when I got my food it was completely wrong as if she hadn’t listened to what I’d asked at all. Then when I apologized and told them what was wrong they were short with me and not friendly at all as if it isn’t their problem they messed it up in the first place. Lastly, when they brought it out to me they brought half and then five minutes later the other half. which I thought was weird and the young man who delivered it was very rude and far from friendly. I’m not sure if they need to do some kind of re-training or just re-hire people who actually want to be at work? I work in customer service and this is not how it’s done. I won’t be back!

Consistently good food with the pick two. Broccoli and cheddar and chicken Cesar salad was my choice this time. The store was clean and service was fast. Of course I will be back to Panera.

Typical Panera. I always get the ½ sandwich and(always Asian chicken) salad. This time I tried the big kid grilled cheese… delicious. My only gripe was they didn’t have hibiscus tea available at this particular time.

So we had a lunch meeting and I was there from noon to about 1:40pm. Twice, one of the employees came by with a big plate of samples! The first was a chocolate cookie. They’re not as big as the ones they sell but they’re definately not tiny either. He was very personable. Of course, who would not like a guy holding a giant plate of warm cookies?! Then he came again probably an hour later and had three flavors of mini scones! They were delicious. Way to make customers happy! So the strawberry salad. I’m not sure if the first time I had it a couple of years ago in California it was a lot better? Or I’m just so used to I wasn’t as satisfied with it this time and I’m not sure why. I guess at least it didn’t have a lot of calories. I am very sad they did away with the sun-dried tomato cream cheese spread! That has always been my favorite with the asiago bagel. I tried to try the onion and chive spread but the guy behind the counter accidentally gave me the veggie spread. Sigh.

I must say. a friend told me about the lobster sandwich they were offering, so my girlfriend and I decided to try it. Staff were very friendly and the place was exceptionally clean. We ordered the Lobster sandwich, chips and a fountain drink. $ 20.12 was the total. Were had our order in less than 5 mins. My girlfriend took half and I took the other half. OMG, I was in heaven! REAL chunks of lobster meat, very little mayo, crisp lettuce, and decent tomatoes. The sandwich was on fresh baked bread you could have eaten all by itself. I will say its expensive, but worth every penny!!! we left very full and satisfied! Anyone who hasnt tried this is really missing out. I will be getting this again! GREAT! CP

We enjoyed a light evening meal with their soup and salad selection. The black bean soup was very good and the broccoli-cheese soup was a bit thick and short on the broc but still tasty. The salad only gets 3 stars as I’ve had better Caesar’s salads. Each dish came with a broken-off baguette. Seemed kinda cheap in a bread shop but what the heck. It’s the national chain and was quite full of folks scattered about eating, checking email, and reading. I felt the cost of our meals was fair and would certainly eat here again.

Good food and atmosphere but a bit pricey. Service is so lackluster it’s hard to believe this is a national chain with a hiring and training program. Join their frequent customer program and you ‘ll get free goodies now and then.

This is a nationwide chain restaurant that offers up premium quality sandwiches at low prices. In rural areas like Spotsylvania, this is the best sandwich shop around. I usually opt for the half and half special choosing the Italian Combo sandwich and one of the soups. The Italian sandwich is great with the homemade ciabatta and pepperoncini really making it stand out. Some quirks with this location worth noting though: — They close at 9pm sharp. But don’t be surprised to arrive at 8:59pm and find the door firmly locked. — Watch when ordering the clam chowder. On two occasions, I was served baked potato soup instead. It is similar in appearance, but costs less. — If you arrive late in the evening, the ciabatta bread usually runs out. Many of the substitutes don’t work well either. I’m not sure why this is a recurring issue here. It seems like you should be able to project how much bread you will need. So given these quirks, 3.5 stars overall.
