Pancito Bread is a little bakery owned by a fellow from Spain and his wife. He does the talking, in his little bifocals that rest on his nose bridge, while she does the baking, with her cute chef’s hat and ever-​present smile.
You can get made-​to-​order breads, pastries and cakes here, or just pick up some of the baked goods cooling freshly at the front of the store. You can get The Napoleon, a custard-​filled croissant, or maybe an apple tart pastry. Many different breads are available as well. On one occasion, two friends and I purchased one of every single item on display. You can see some of it here:
