Once Upon a Child

One star because no stars isn’t an option.
First time going into store. Not only did they not have anything I was looking for, but they took hours of my life to randomly select a handful of outfits out of the dozens I brought. The items were returned to me messily shoved back into my reusable bags, which they broke doing so. All before offering me an offensive amount for the few items they wanted.
As if that were insufficient, customer service and tact were severely lacking.
I would sooner give the clothes away than support their business.

I’ve always dropped off great quality clothing to this place. Ever since my daughter was born in 2012, I’ve sold to Once upon a child. I’ve sold clothing, shoes, toys and accessories. All of my daughter’s stuff was bought from Zulily, H&M, and the Gap! They’ve given me hardly anything! I’ve even dropped off NEW (with the tags still attached but price removed) and gently used that were still never used and even still in boxes and most of the them had no visible damage and yet again, they’ve let me down with their offer. They are not the place to sell your stuff to especially when your children have outgrown them. Sometimes the staff are rude and the store is too damn small for all that stuff they keep taking in. I will never sell to them ever again!

I went to consign items. The ladies were friendly, but the time I was given to come back to check back in was and hour to an hour and a half. 3 hours later was when my they were ready for me. I can understand being busy just give a more accurate time. Other than that things were ok. The store itself the racks were a bit crowded and overwhelming to look through. I will go back but to look for specific items.

There prices are high, I shop once upon a child in Missouri, South Carolina, and even California this store wants to much money for there used baby clothes. The staff is unfriendly I will never go back to this store!

I visited this store for the first time and was not impressed at all. The sales clerks were not friendly. I was there to consign something and ended up not doing it because for what they were going to give me with the lack of friendliness I decided I would rather consign at a twice a year consignment sale in my town where the proceeds would end up back in my community. Aside from that experience, I thought the clothes racks were too crowded and the top rack was too high. For the middle of January there was too much spring summer stuff, was hoping for more warm weather clothes (maybe that’s the nature of consignment though). The toys were very hard to see as they are all in bins on shelves so you have to look at the label on the bins and then dig through them. Overall, the store was too packed and just plain too hard to see what they had in stock. I will not shop there again. There are nicer consignment stores out there with much friendlier staff.
