Food was ok. The roll that wowed us was the tuna rollover roll. Good variety of food items on the menu. Utensils were dirty. But then as busy as they get I can see how hard it is to keep certain things cleaned or checked before handing it to the customer. Server wrote the order down, somehow the order was still messed up. May be a miscommunication between wait staff and chef.

I was worried about this place when Umi opened up across the street. We went once when Uni was full and have been back several times. It’s really nice inside, a lot of room. Very busy restaurant any time of day. They have an app for online ordering & pick up. Nice sized pieces of fish in their sashimi and some really interesting rolls. They have a Tuna roll with no rice(for the no carb crowd). The volcano roll with black rice is interesting too. Try their hot green tea(seriously). It contains brown rice & matcha and has an amazing flavor. Knowledgable staff, good service and gorgeous bathroom.

The kids like sushi. We are not such fans, but there are many other dishes there for us and all taste good. The bento box is quite nice as you get a variety of things. One of our family’s favorites.

Was looking for Thai food near the mall and Miso had good reviews. Am not typically a fan of the fusion places because I am picky about my Thai food, but decided to try it based on the reviews. The Thai tea came out topped with whipped cream and a strange tinsel party straw. At this point I honestly wanted to leave because I knew where things were headed. My 3 year old actually said«this is the worst Thai tea ever». Drunken noodles were very bland, needed some fish sauce and had more onions and peppers than noodles. It was more like a stir fry I’d say. Also had celery and snow peas, never seen those in drunken noodles before but whatever I like vegetables. The California roll was fine, and the salad dressing was bland and like a watered down version of what you’d get at a Japanese steakhouse. All in all everything tasted bland or watered down. I was actually searching the table for salt which is a first for me ever in an Asian restaurant. The bento box was a good deal though at $ 8. This is definitely more of a sushi place and if you’re looking for Thai food I would go elsewhere.

Great meal. Wife has Kiss Me Roll, son had Beef Lo Mein, I had chef’s choice sashimi. Everything fresh, delicious and nicely presented. Our sever Heather was on the spot whenever we needed her without being obtrusive. Fantastic first visit, definitely not the last.

Great Lunch menu, food is very good, yet reasonably priced. The Bento boxes are what normally get — today Sashimi & Sushi combo.

I’m removing one star since my last review because I get the feeling from several employees that I’m a bother to them. First the hostess huffed and slammed something on the bar as she asked how many in our party then our waitress hurriedly told us the names of our rolls like she was rushed. Then she just stood by the register looking at her phone. EVERYTHINGSGOODEXCEPTTHEIRATTITUDES.

Traveled to Fredericksburg for work and Miso was recommended as a place to go for sushi. I ordered the Angry Lobster Roll and it was really good. The person I was with ordered a couple of rolls and had a great experience too. Would come back here again next time I am in town.

Kind of an odd experience here. I think they may have been having an off night. Another party must have complained to a manager because you just heard a woman storm into the back yelling at a server that his customer was complaining. It was kind of awkward. Food was okay. They don’t have fortune cookies.

It is one of the few places for sushi in Fredericksburg area. You won’t be floored, but if you choose wisely, then you should do fine. This reviewer exclusively carries out(I dined in once); I am more than satisfied by their range of appetizers and sushi creations.

I do want to add that if you’re going to get any kind of wok or stir fry dish, it’ll more than likely have bell peppers and red onions in it. I didn’t think anything of it when it was in my panang curry, but when it was also in my beef with basil and lo mein, it seems like it’s standard. It’s not always necessary for some of those dishes, so ask before hand if they add it or not. On another note, I got a Beef with Chili Basil from them. I requested no bell peppers and the picture is what I got. A few pieces of beef and all onions. The dish had no taste of basil, and had more of a typical brown stir fry sauce flavor. I’m so disappointed.

Good sashimi and rolls. Hot sake was pouring! Although they were out of the uni and a few other items that we requested, I still enjoyed the dining and atmosphere.

My family and I went there for lunch on a Thursday and the food was just mediocre. Perhaps it was because they didn’t have their A-team chefs working at the time, but we were not amazed by the food. They do provide a wide range of dishes from thai to sushi, but don’t seem to get any of them exactly right. I ordered some sushi, which came out at about the same quality level as you would find at a grocery store. The rice was squished and thin with a lot of little bones in the eel. Good décor, with friendly staff, and decent lunch prices.

I was a little skeptical before I went into Miso because I was craving a purely sushi based restaurant, whereas this restaurant is also considered a grill. However, I was pleasantly surprised. I got the Philedelphia roll(my absolute guilty pleasure) and the spicy tuna roll and that was some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. You really get what you pay for at Miso. My boyfriend got the spicy sushi roll entrée which included three different sushi rolls, salad, and soup all for $ 14. If you’re looking for delicious sushi at a reasonable price, this is the way to go. As for service and atmosphere, it was lovely. We were in and out within an hour and the clean, minimalist décor was very pleasant. I would highly recommend this locale.

Best sushi in Fredericksburg hands down. They have a few seats outside but I prefer eating sushi without the sun beaming on me because no one likes warm sushi. Inside is very nice and modern. The lighting is a little dim but comforting still. Hostess greeted immediately with a smile. Honestly didn’t expect the sushi to be that great but they definitely proved me wrong which is why I’m surprised if anyone gave this place less than 4 stars. The food is presented very beautifully, it was so pretty I didn’t want to ruin it and eat. They’re not stingy with the meat either, my rolls were a pretty good size and the lunch specials are super affordable and filling. We finished everything so if that doesn’t tell you about the taste then I don’t know what will.

You live. You learn. You upgrade! oh miso… misoooo…you were probably this only thing i liked about this area… since all the restaurants around this area is so dame terrible! while hanging out in a small town i aspect people to be more friendly and food to taste good… especially if there’s nothing to do but just eat! the service here is one and off… you don’t know if you will get someone that’s nice and happy or rude and snobby… when I tried to order their main entrees… it was just terrible… sushi is still bearable. but please don’t order the spicy scallop rolls… scallops here are not fresh at all! which is a huge problem when it comes to a sushi restaurant… i like there specialty rolls and desserts… They really did a good job making the sushi look like art… good presentation! but Turns out… since iv been here a few times… compared to the first time i ever dine here the quaintly and the quantity of their dishes declining… Kind of defeats the purpose of eating anything here anymore.

All the ingredients here are super fresh, I recommend dropping by if you’re in the area. Clean restaurant and friendly staff, food definitely met my expectations. I’m used to sushi restaurants serving a small salad and/or a small miso soup on the side, but I had to order a salad separately. Other than that, my experience was great! They have such fun/creative names for all their sushi rolls.
