I love boutique shopping… I do. In theory anyway. The problem with boutiques is that they cater to small people. Seriously, would it kill you to carry an extra large in anything?! So I shop at places like Marshall’s and TJMaxx as well as traditional department stores. The whole TJX line of retailers is a little hit or miss for me, what with their cluttered racks and dirty dressing rooms and slow cashier lines. Giant dust bunnies in dressing rooms TJX? Shame on you! So why the rant? Just a little preface to my review for this particular store. This Marshall’s was great. I was in a hurry, so I quickly picked through some shirts and ended up with a pile to take into the dressing room. 14 items? — no problem at this store. None of this«8 at a time, which we only count on the way in anyway» business. She counted on the way in and out and was pleasant each time. The dressing room was clean, well lit, and dust bunny free. I bought about half and was through the checkout in no time. The cashier was friendly and really kind of funny. Definitely not an experienced clothing folder, but he got an A for effort. Two thumbs up. TJX — take note. This is one of few gems in your line of stores.

Marshalls always has stuff that I want to buy. Name brand clothing for decent prices, plus sometimes you will find a gem or two in the home section. Clean store, friendly enough staff, all in all a decent place to shop.

I always find amazing deals here. I pretty much never buy anything before checking Marshalls first. I just bought a mandoline slicer here last night. Got it for half price! Why pay more? Check Marshalls first!
