George’s Pizza

First time eating here. The pizza is really good. I plan on going back to try other things out on the menu.

New place heard a lot of good things about their pizza I would definitely give it a 4 – 5 star excellent

Great pizza. My fav is the pepperoni calzone mouth watering mozzarella cheese. The fries are amazing… no wonder they have been around for 30+ years!

1 because zero is not an option. This is not pizza. It may resemble pizza, I’ve cooked pizza professionally, eaten it around the world this is Spotsy pie at best and there are some die hard fans but count me out. The place is dreary do you can’t really tell if it’s clean or not I would say not. I do not recommend them. Lousy service too. Brothers is a much better choice and the lights are on.
I received a response from what appears to be either an owner or employee. I can tell you from their attitude that it only justifies why I can tell you my observations are correct. Very childish and adversarial comment without any attempt to change my mind for the better.

We ordered from here tonight and had it delivered. Thought it was going to be good because of all the positive reviews. We got a small cheese pizza and steak and cheese subs. All of it was flavorless and the portions were small for what it cost. The subs taste like unseasoned steakums and the pizza taste like burnt grease. It was so gross and such a disappointment. Will never order from here again.

George’s has a very unique kind if pizza but it is Amazing… and you can’t stop in without getting some French fries they are hand peeled in store and are awesome gotta try them also they have fried cauliflower which is hard to find but they have it and serve it with a cheese dipping sauce !!! The subs are great too my husband loves the steak & cheese and my favorite is the Hot Hoagie gotta add banana peppers and oil and vin.

Gonna have to knock my review down a star. Hate to do it but the service is unacceptable.
Went in on a Sunday afternoon, around 4 pm or so. It wasn’t very busy. Sat down with my mom and waited for a waiter to come to our table. After sitting around for about 7 minutes without being acknowledged, we noticed the table beside us didn’t have drinks or anything. The man from that table got up and went to the counter and asked about it. The woman cooking told him they had no waitresses there because they were out making a delivery. The man stood at the front and brought his own drinks back to the table.
It would’ve been semi-​acceptable if we had been informed by the woman behind the counter that no one was able to give us table service, but if that man hadn’t gone up and checked we probably would’ve been clueless until we got fed up enough to go ask ourselves. Needless to say, we got up and left.
If George’s continues with the horrible service, regardless of how much I love their pizza, I don’t know how much longer they’ll stay in business. The lack of concern for their patrons is disheartening.

Pizza was good but it took quite awhile to get our food considering there were no other customers.

I’ve always been a fan of Georges pizza. I normally have pizza but today I thought id have the steak and cheese sandwich. I always get fries here which are always hot and fresh. The sandwich was made to order and the last touch being that it was heated in there pizza oven to get that important crunch you need with a steak and cheese. Good destination for a hungry weary motorcycle rider. The atmosphere is old school but that’s why I like it.

Not the best and certainly not the worst. Kinda not what you want to hear on any particular level, although in certain situations that might be a compliment. I’ve eaten at some places that act like they don’t care. Strap on your feedback Rusty and eat the slop I’m serving up. I’ve eaten at others and have been blown away by the pride they take in their product. While I hate to act middle of the road, it sorta calls for it here. The pizza isn’t New York style and it isn’t Chicago style either. It’s cooked in a deep pan, so I suppose it’s closer to Chicago than New York. With that, I ordered the Italian sausage and mushroom pie. While waiting I took a look around my surroundings and looks as if nothings changed in about 30 years. Paneled walls and linoleum floors. Hey I’m not knockin’ the setting, I’ve eatin pizza out of the box on the metro before. Jealous? Not sure if it’s the original owners, but I’m sure if I use my above average Google skills I might be able to find out the answer… but for now, I’ll let it go. The pizza arrived to the table fresh from the oven, crisp crust and well made. After applying ample amounts of red pepper, I proceeded to stuff my face till my eyes were dilated. I would say George’s is different than the other pizza places in town and because of that I stopped in to order up and provide opinion. Take it for all its worth. Cheers ~
