Gabe’s has inexpensive merchandise, but you’ve really got to search to find the GOOD stuff. This particular Gabe’s gets shipment regularly, so you can usually find something if you search long enough. However, standard for this chain, their stores are notorious for being disorganized.(I will say that this is one of the most organized Gabes I’ve seen, but that’s not saying much.) I’ve been able to find Express, Betsey Johnson, Anthropologie, Mizuno running shoes, nurse mates shoes, WVU Nike football jerseys and other great name brands from this location. When finding items at Gabes– always look it over before purchasing! Make sure it’s all in one piece, zippers work, etc before purchasing as they are known to carry defective pieces. They have everything from clothing for all ages, shoes, home goods, electronics, books, toys and snacks. I guess you get what you pay for at Gabes, but I’ve always been a fan!

Great place if you’re on a budget but still want a chance at finding name brand items. I’ve even got some decorations and cleaning supplies from gabes. Prices are decent. Store is very well organized.

So this store is a mixture of Roses, Scotsman’s(remember that store from back in the day) to a Ross. The clothes here can look like something the store found back in the warehouse from years ago and was like«Hey let’s put it out on the floor and see if it will sale!» Some clothes look so old, I had to keep checking if I wasn’t in a thrift store. But they do have store brand names like Express, Rue 21, New and Company but again styles from years ago, so it wasn’t that impressive. The clothes that are irregular they do mark it on the tag. And clothes that are updated styles were reasonably priced. I did find workout clothes for good prices and few flip flops.

After going back a few times, I realize that Gabe’s is terribly unorganized now! I have no idea who’s in charge of organizing each department, but they are not on their job. Different sizes mixed throughout, juniors mixed in with the women’s. A good deal of their items are damaged so you’d have to examine each item carefully before buying. Some of their shoes are unusually larger(a size 6 does not fit like a true size 6). So try them on before buying… same with the clothes. They have a HUGE selection of items, if you’re a shop-a-holic like me, you can easily spend 2+ hours in this store! They have a really good rewards program– you build up points as you shop. Receive 1 point for every $ 1 spent. Receive a $ 5 reward coupon for every $ 50* spent. Reward coupons now expire 30 days from date of issuance(giving you more time to come back for great deals!) Reward points accumulate over a three-month calendar quarter giving you more time to earn rewards. Of course I’m going back!
