I want to start off by saying that when this Freddy’s first opened, I really liked it. The staff was friendly, the food was pretty good, and it was convenient. But for a burger joint that hasn’t been open that long, it went downhill fast. The service quickly became subpar, wait times have become ridiculous, and the staff can be downright rude. They don’t always have what you order and wait until after you’ve paid to tell you, the fries are either stale or burnt, and they talk about you while you’re standing there waiting for your food. When they first opened I’d go once a week, but at this point, I don’t know if I’ll be back, even with as much as I like their onion rings(which they’re out of half the time I order them…)

I have found Valhalla. This was my first time at a Freddy’s and I couldn’t be happier. I got the number 1 double and was pleased that it was larger and better than I expected. The fries were shoestring and well salted. The fry sauce was way better than ketchup. The staff was friendly and fast, unlike our local Steak and Shake. If you want a regular burger you may be disappointed. These are steak burgers and mashed on a grill. Don’t come expecting fine dining.

Yum! How did we not know this is here? The steak burgers are glorious and the fry sauce is incredible. The fries are shoestring and are perfectly salted. The staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. The mint Oreo concrete(blizzard type concrete) was so good – I can’t wait to try the Hawaiian sundae. If you are craving a diner type burger with exquisite fries and custard, this is the place!

I have tried to like Freddy’s, but have been disappointed every time. I love a good turtle sundae with caramel and hot fudge on top(as shown in their picture). Unfortunately they don’t know how to make it properly and put all of the toppings on the bottom(bottomings I guess). I had a craving for a frozen dessert last night and stopped in. There were five patrons in the place and nobody in line. I ordered a properly made turtle sundae and my wife ordered something else. There were four employees behind the counter. After ten minutes of waiting for our custard, the manager saw us sitting there annoyed and asked if everything was ok. I said we were still waiting for our food. My wife’s sundae was sitting on the counter and they brought it over. It took a total of fourteen minutes for mine to come out. And of course it had bottomings, not toppings. I have been to other Freddie’s and not had these problems. I think this place has serious management issues. There were employees standing around when they should have been making my order. 14 minutes for an improperly made order and no other customers, sorry Freddy that was my last time.

I was excited to see more option come to 17, but was disappointed. I’d rather go to Steak n’ Shake. A lot of people like this place(including my wife) but I didn’t care for it.

2am. on the porcelain throne I sit. Suffering from the aftermath of #8 meal that truly wasn’t worth this overpriced Sh**. I will give you a star for the quick service and for the politeness of the staff.

My boyfriend got the #5 and it was amazing. I got the single California and it was good but they could have dried off the lettuce because it made the sandwich a bit watery. We also got a mini vanilla shake with hot fudge which was the perfect size to just taste the yummy custard.

This was the first time I have been in a Freddy’s, and I liked it. I had the Patty Melt, and it was good. The patties are thin, but are tasty. The grilled onions were good and all of the food was piping hot. The one bad thing is that the free standing tables are packed in… take maybe just one of them out would free up enough space to make it much easier to get around. The chocolate custard… mmmm. mmmm tasty.

Decided to give this place a try as I like to try new restaurants… Not impressed at all… got the #8 which is $ 9 I believe it was called a double California with fries and a drink. There was no line at the counter and I ordered to go. The food came pretty quick… First i’ll start with what I liked… the sweet tea which gives a star Now what I didn’t…the fries were shoe string which I should have read reviews to see that but I was disappointed when I opened my bag… they reminded me of the potato stix I used to eat as a kid. they were very salted but didn’t taste like it. I dipped them in Freddy sauce which was ok. The burger… I opened the box and the first thing I said was what the… so the double patty was like the size of one and it looked smashed with the edges looking crisp but they weren’t so I took the top bun off to take a look… the cheese was American and it was melted but didn’t spread over the patty it was still square. On top of the square of cheese a full patty of raw onion… not your typical like 2 raw rings of red onion. it was full on quarter inch thick white(not Vidalia sweet) patty of onion… I can still taste the onion now and its been a hour and a half. So my burger tasted like I was biting into an onion like an apple. I wont be back unless someone I was with really wants to go… I would probably just get a shake anyways. I rather go to Cook-out and get a feast for $ 9…Give it a try if you want… I don’t recommend

Place is clean and employees are very friendly and helpful. The burgers are considered as steak burgers so they are thinner than a normal burger but good. The combos come with more than enough shoe string fries. The noise level is a little noisier and a little harder to hear the cashier. Good choices on ice cream also. Overall a good place to come eat.

Way over priced for paper thin burger patties. The burgers are the most disappointing part, the beef patties are thin and therefore way over cooked and dry. Onions, pickles and mustard were the only toppings for an $ 9 burger combo. Freddy sauce was just some mayo based dressing. Soft drinks choices are few. With so many burger choices in the area, cheeseburger Cheesebuger, Five Guys and Sonic, all have better burgers and shakes. Even the mcDouble is more satisfying.

What a disappointment! New burger joint in town. Looked interesting, kind of like a northeastern, fried burger, buttered bun type of place. Food is prepared for each order, service friendly, but it takes time. The burger was tasteless. No salt on the meat. It had an odd texture due to the«frying». Bun was OK. Bacon, not so great. Fries were thin and very salty. Fry sauce is a nice change for dipping. I was really excited about the concrete, aka milkshake. It was just OK. Combo and mini concrete around $ 14. Won’t be doing that again

I just left there, and I’m still hungry! I have NEVER seen a hamburger that thin! The pickle slices were twice as thick as the patty. I usually get a single patty at most burger joints, but even 2 at Freddy’s wouldn’t make a single at Wendys. Expensive and nothing unique about the taste. I won’t be going back, sorry Freddy.

Went on Sunday to try this place that everyone was talking about. Walked in and ordered right away. That was nice. Waited a little while for order, that’s ok because they are new. Got #1 and it was a good thing I ordered double. The burgers are thins and I didn’t like all the crusty stuff on the side of the burger. I received my order wrong but they are new. I don’t like shoe string fries. The Freddy sauce was not all that. While sitting there I started look around. I counted 19 employees behind the register, 4 people cleaning the tables. I am not sure how many others were in the back. Way to many people standing around playing on phone or chatting with other employees. No need to rush back anytime soon. Sonics is right down the road and is way better.

Burger patties are thin, they look like a half of a patty each. The double burger looks like 1 normal patty ripped in half to make«two patties» they don’t come with any cheese. Tasted good but nothing special, I won’t go again.

Not bad but not great! Staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. Frozen custard is really good. Burgers are a little dry and need some flavor. Chili is also a little bland. I like the French fries which are really skinny and crispy. Will definitely go back for the frozen custard! And maybe to try a hot dog.

Went here with the grandkids and between us we had a variety of burgers and desserts. Reactions: 1. Burgers were thin, crisp, and tasty. Requests(to hold the mustard on one, for example) were followed. 2. Drinks were fine, although no Coke Products are on offer. 3. The skinny fries were a hit: cooked just right and not too greasy or salty. The fry sauce was OK; but, personally, I’d just use ketchup in the future. 4. Desserts: although we each got a different frozen custard we all agreed that they were very, very good. 5. Service: polite, professional, and swift. This place was packed and, yet, staff made time to check on whether we enjoyed our food, picked up empty trays, etc. 6. Cost: a wee bit steep with me and two teenaged grandsons spending a tad over $ 40. Overall, we liked this restaurant and will be back!

I got a single California style burger combo with added bacon. Eh. Wasn’t impressed. The food was cold with not a lot of taste. The guy calling out the orders kept touching the mike with his mouth and then putting his hands all over the burgers. Yuck. The fries were hard and tiny. On the plus side, the employees were the nicest teens I’ve dealt with in fast food. They were polite and in a good mood despite all the craziness.

I really hate to report on my experience today as I was rooting for this new restaurant. First, the good news… The line was long and very slow, but not their fault as Geico had a massive order going on. And they are new, so, the lines will calm down over time. Otherwise they serve you quickly and politely. After Geico got their order, they were pumping them out very fast. I ordered the Single steakburger with a medium drink. I didn’t want the meal, but they rang me up as the meal. I asked them to remove the fries(trying to keep the high cost down) but they said it’s about the same price $ 7.79 before tax. So I asked for onion rings instead of fries and they said ok. My order was«to go» and I didn’t think to check it until I had left, but I still got fries, not the rings. Sadly, the burger(see pic above) was smashed extremely flat(to make it look big, out of the bun) and was burnt so badly, it was bitter, very crunchy and way over salted for the thinness of the burger. I did not eat but a few bites and threw it out. I didn’t feel up to bringing it back. I see the only other review here, they said it was juicy. Hmmm. I got the smallest burger possible with only a medium(not large) drink, and after tax it was $ 8.51. That is way way too much for the small amount of burger and it’s burnt condition. Others in line were comparing it to «Cook Out» one exit south(Fredericksburg), which is way better, thicker, juicier and less cost, for much more meat. I would compare Freddy’s to «The Steak and Shake» in Spotsy County(south Fredericksburg). They too smash the burgers super flat but are not as charred or burnt, but still over cooked for my taste. The seating around the edge is good, with roomy booths but the tiny tables in the middle were way too close to each other, pushing people nearly on top of each other.(see pic above). I would pull some tables. Yes, I realize you want to seat as many as possible, but don’t let greed take over comfort. I will also contact them on the email listed on the receipt only because I truly want to see them do well, and hope my info may help. I’m assuming they will not change how they cook the burgers, since it is a chain and they have rules. If that is the case, sadly, I will not be back. But I do with you guys well. Gail
