I moved in this apartment complex towards the end of January. Coming from NoVA, I am not familiar with Frederick and ended up at this place with no regrets. I was going to initially rent a townhouse in Hagerstown, but opted for this place instead. Pros: Great location(walking distance to Wegmans plaza), friendly and go out of their way to help you type of staff, amenities and safe. Cons: Rent, even after the promotion, is a little bit high, but you get your money’s worth. Construction is decent, I love the decks since they are 100% screened. It’s almost like living in a hotel type environment since the building is enclosed, one of the reasons I moved in(I know my family is safe when I’m at work). Also, I’ve noticed many police offers reside here as well, which is a bonus. Sure initial move can be a challenge, but that’s expected for a mid-rise building and the staff is more than happy to provide a dolly to assist. I did have a slight issue in the beginning since my neighbor above was making excessive noise(exercising in one of the rooms), but they were very friendly and stopped immediately when I presented them with the problem. Everyone in the place seems really nice, and the gym isn’t bad considering you don’t have to leave the building. The club room is nice with a pool table, foosball table and game room. This can also be used for entertaining guests, but keep in mind this is shared with everyone else. Also love the coffee bar! The staff is awesome, Kim(the property manager) is the best. She is super friendly and easy to approach. She’ll do everything in her power to help if you encounter an issue. She’ll also give you advice about the area and will go out her way to help you if she can – keeping in mind she is busy managing this place but she still takes personal time to help you if you ask. I gave it 4 stars since the rent is a little bit high(Sqft/$), but maybe that’s a good thing since it brings in like minded professionals. Can’t beat the location, safety, amenities, and friendly staff.
