Sephora

I came here on Jan. 29, 2016. As I came to the store, I was browsing around to see the makeup and the perfume, until I’ve decided to purchase some concealer. I was greeted by the manager, and she sent me to a friendly associate by the name of Bianca.
As I was talking to Bianca about what concealer would best suit me, she used this device that takes pictures of my neck, cheek and forehead and she entered the information into the iPad, which then told her what my shade is, so she picked up a concealer from Cover FX, and it covered my acne scars well. Next, I asked her about lipstick and she suggested the Kat Von D lipstick in the color ‘Damned’. After that, she gave me some useful advice on how to apply concealer, and other types of makeup such as foundation, etc.
However, I’m disappointed at the fact that this store barely keeps their items stocked up, which is infuriating, but I still like the store for good device and excellent associates.
Overall, I was very satisfied with my purchase, and I will be shopping here in the future.

This location seems to never have adequate stock of anything. NARS lip pencils are always out of stock, Smashbox primers, NARS primers, nail polishes, their Urban Decay and MUFE displays are always a mess and out of stock. The staff is rude and always less than thrilled to help you. I’ll drive out of my way to go to an actual store.

After 2 visits, I’m very impressed with this Sephora’s customer service. On my first visit, the associate easily processed my return even though I’d lost the receipt and was really pleasant. On my second visit, I was checking out and asked the cashier if they had received more than 2 shades of the Too Faced Melted Metal because I only saw 2 on display. She was super helpful, went to find the shade I wanted, and returned in a jiff.
The store is a little bigger than, and has an important bonus over my old location in Hyattsville– they carry my favorite brand– Nars!!! With a new baby around, I NEED Nars’ creaseless concealer readily available to me! They also seemed to be fully stocked on popular brands like Smashbox, Benefit, Too Faced, and Kat Von D.
Why can’t all Sephora locations be this neat and have nice employees?!
