Used to enjoy this place. Came one time with a friend from DC for a slice. Waited in line. They told us to move to the side before taking our order and then proceeded to take the order of everyone else who entered the restaurant before ours. We waited for fifteen minutes and then left. Back in town for business and called. Left us on hold for ten minutes. Called back and instantly our order was taken. $ 30 order for an 8 minute delivery? I get you are the only fake pizzeria in Fredrick, but it’s time to grow up. Get your service together. Two stars because the few times I could actually get it, it was good– back in 2012. Every other time I am essentially begging a counter girl to pay attention to me.

The pizzas are amazing but SUPER pricey. God news is they have Proper Slices late night Friday and Saturday for cheap and everything is on really fresh pretzel dough! Yes.

Sorry, but to this Philly boy the dough is much too sweet, and they use it for everything. Call me crazy, but I think pretzels and pizza should be savory. Ice cream from Hershey’s(not the chocolate company) is good and they are very nice people.

We all know pizza is a divine gift from above but, when you combine it with pretzels, well, you’re about to truly understand what Guy Fieri means by Flavortown. The pretzel dough crust is softer than the comfiest bed on Earth and the pizza itself is absolutely delicious. The menu has a lot of variety, so you’ll no doubt be coming in again and again because you’re as determined to try everything on the menu as Ash Ketchum is at catching every Pokemon. The only complaint I have was the wait time, but maybe I shouldn’t decide to go there during peak lunch hour on a nice, sunny Friday. Very cute place and I’ll definitely to again.

First timer! Went for a quick and easy breakfast sandwich. The creation was a big soggy mess that I threw away. I will go back to try the pizza but would definitely NOT recommend them for breakfast. I’m unclear how they even consider their bagel sandwich a bagel. It’s a soggy pretzel mess. I never write reviews but since I threw out my breakfast, I thought it justified. Proceed with caution at best.

I was there during Frederick’s vegan festival. The vegan pretzel was so good that I wish I’d bought a dozen and brought them home. I don’t know if the vegan pretzel was just for the event or is a regular on the menu? Can’t wait to return.

What makes pizza and hot dogs better?! How about a pretzel. Duh. I’ve been to this spot twice on different trips to Frederick. Once for breakfast and once for lunch. Both times I was absolutely pleased with the food. The breakfast bagel was on point and the Reuben hotdog and pizza were both equally delicious. If you’re in the area, give this place a try. Also bonus points for the jams they play… always a walk down memory lane.

Great little sandwich, pretzel, calzone, pizza and ice cream joint! Ok, so this place has a lot on the menu, but besides the ice cream and soup, everything is made from the most amazing pretzel dough. They have pretzels, stuffed pretzels, yummy sandwiches, pizzas, calzones… and so much more. Everything we tried was yummy. The atmosphere is typical of restored Frederick, exposed brick walls, country chic décor, nice and cozy. Service was also great. I would say the downside is that it is a little pricey. For a sandwich, a cinnamon pretzel, a medium pep pizza and a few drinks, I paid close to $ 40…kind of expensive for lunch with the kids… but overall a good find.

Last night I went here for dinner with my boyfriend and his best friend. I was very disappointed In service but enjoyed the food. The lines were long and when it was my turn to order the lady at the register skipped over me multiple time. I kept trying to order and she would just keep asking other people. It took me fifteen minutes to get to order after I waited in like for 25 minutes. When I got my food it was warm and served exactly how I ordered it. It may have been poor service however the finamial food makes up for the poor service. They are very clean and have extremely clean restrooms as well. I would go here again but not a Friday night because of the lines and the service issues.

Drool… Turkey & cheddar on a pretzel bun. I’ll just have to come here each time we drive through town. Got me a plain butter and salted pretZel to go as well. In case the belly still craves for it.

So I finally got around to trying the pizza. As far as I know, all of the pizza is made with pretzel dough, so if that’s not your thing, then it might be an issue. Basically pretzel dough is a lot sweeter than regular dough, which you may not be able to tell just eating a pretzel, but when you’re eating it as a pizza, you can definitely taste the sweetness in the dough. So just know that your pizza crust is going to have a sweetness to it. If that doesn’t bother you, then it should be good to go. I also had a calzone, which was great itself, but the marinara served with it wasn’t that great. They honored a coupon of mine that was technically a day expired, and they undercharged me for an ice cream but let it go. So the service is still top notch and this place still gets a 5⁄5 from me.

Really cool concept overall. Tried an egg sandwich on a pretzel roll, but was really disappointed that they microwave their eggs. :(This is such a huge turnoff but I will be back to try some of their other offerings at some point. The pretzel pizza sounds really good. Small interior so not best for groups. Definitely worth trying at least once; located in the heart of downtown Frederick with off-street parking.

Wow, who knew there was so much you could do with pretzel dough! The fact that everything is made to order is really nice. I got a jalapeño cheese stuffed pretzel and to my surprise there was cheese in every bite! The wrapped hot dog was also better than expected, since it was so fresh and the toppings were added inside! Genius. The pizza made with pretzel crust threw my kids for a loop, until they tried it. Yum! Then to make our visit even better, there was ice cream. Worth the looong drive to Frederick!

As I participated in a Unilocal event, I found my way here one weeknight with a few friends. I knew the place served pretzels and pizzas, but what I did not know was that they also had ice cream as well, among other things. It is a small shop, but there are a few tables by the cashier and more places to sit in the back of the store. Parking can be found on the street or within 2 blocks walking distance from Church Street Parking Garage. I ordered their Cinnamon and Sugar Pretzel and a scoop of Salty Caramel Truffle ice cream. Their pretzel was a nice size and tasty — I ate most of it even though I am not a big fan of pretzels. Their ice cream was so good and I thoroughly enjoyed it — it was not hard at all. I did not stay long in this spot, but if I am ever in Frederick again, I will surely check this place out. The employees were very helpful.

This was the 4th location in the Unilocal Hidden Gems challenge! Even though it was wayy out in Frederick, we made the hike in hopes of finding that elusive green gem! Even apart from the three green gems(!!), we got a damn good slice of pizza and three awesome flavored pretzels. The style of the this place was a lot more casual than the other three places we had been to, but I liked being able to see the pizzas and pretzels being made right in front of us! They also had a rather extensive array of ice creams that we’ll have to try if we every go back there. We placed our orders, got our gems and went to their medium sized back room to carb load. The three pretzels we got were Cinnamon Sugar, Old Bay and Parmesan Herb. The parmesan herb was definitely my favorite, followed by the cinnamon sugar and then the Old bay. Unfortunately, the Old Bay was just too much salt for me, but then def don’t skip on seasoning. The pretzels were piping hot and oh so soft with a hint of sweet. Definitely recommend. We got the New York Pizza with garlic sauce, onion, ricotta cheese, spinach all on a pretzel crust. I don’t know what ricotta cheese they used but it was AMAZING. So creamy without being too heavy. It was perfect and tasted great with everything else on the pizza. I don’t know why all crusts are not pretzel dough cause its freaking fabulous. The only thing I would say is that the prices are a little high for what you get. Me being a jersey girl, where pizzeria are everywhere, it stings a little to pay $ 25 for a medium pizza, but this was quite delicious.

My family and I stopped by Pretzel & Pizza Creations for snacks for the road. This place sells coffee, tea, specialty lattes, homemade pretzels, pretzel sandwiches, calzones, pretzel crusted pizza, and ice cream. Upon your first check-in, you can pick between a free butter & salt or cinnamon sugar pretzel. They also have parmesan & spices, old bay, garlic, and cajun pretzels. I wasn’t that adventurous with my pretzel selection. I went with the two most common ones — butter & salt and cinnamon sugar. I liked how the pretzels were prepared by order and served hot. I liked how the pretzels weren’t rolled in whatever the topping but rather brushed with butter and sprinkled with salt or cinnamon sugar. To accompany the pretzels, I got a regular coffee and Southern Mint hot tea. The coffee wasn’t anything special — should have ordered a specialty latte instead.

On highway coming back from Pennsylvania and were waiting for just the perfect lunch spot! I Unilocaled lunch places in Frederick and this gem came up so we thought yup, pretzels we’re there! We both ordered calzones I had Grilled Chicken which was spinach, artichokes, sun dried tomatoes, ricotta and mozzarella all neatly wrapped in a pretzel dough topped with butter and Parmesan!!! The ingredients shined through and the soft lightly salty flavors shot through! Hubby ordered the Pepperoni and provolone add mushrooms and he finished his in minutes!!! We didn’t know calzones could be so heavenly and did not leave us overly stuffed and uncomfortable as with other wheat/white flour calzones!

Stumbled upon this gem after a night of barhopping in Downtown Frederick. They’ve got pizza, pretzels, sandwiches, and ice cream! I love the pretzels here! So soft and they’re all freshly made. I’ve had the Garlic and the Parmesan & Spices. They definitely give Auntie Anne’s pretzels a run for their money. They also have stuffed pretzels(Chocolate Chip &BACON!, Pistachio, Spinach & Cheddar, etc). I’ve also had their Turkey, Cheddar, Avocado, and Bacon sandwich, which was really good. Can’t really go wrong with any of these in a sandwich. Though, for the price you’re paying, I wished that it had more turkey in it. Their pretzel foccacia bread is really good and light with a slight crunch. Their sandwiches come with a side of chips. I have to return to try their pizza and ice cream! The place is small, but they have a couple of tables in the back. Staff are super friendly. *Minimum $ 5, if you use credit card.
