Dr Richard Solomon & Associates

Dr Solomon is the best in the business. He and his staff are very professional, efficient and friendly. After my last visit he suggested surgery to correct my problem, he gave me a referral to see. I listened to him, had the surgery and am so glad I did. My eye sight is now back to ²⁰⁄₂₀! I will always go to Dr Solomon.

I went last yr to this optometrists office to get glasses and contact lenses. I went twice back to the doctor and told her that my contacts didn’t seem like the right script BC I felt I couldn’t see clearly. If I was driving the signs seemed blurry.
Twice she changed me script. Yes the last time my script seemed better, but eventually I ended up not being able to use them BC wearing them at work caused me a headache. According to the optometrist… from staring at the computer screen too long.
This yr I went to a new optometrist n this is what I learned…
My rsn for not being able to see was BC the optometrist at Solomon & associates gave me the wrong script.
1) I have astigmatism in both eyes and my astigmatism in each eye is different. Well the optometrist gave me scripts that DID NOT address this at all. For those that don’t know what astigmatism is, basically my eye sight is very similar to when you squint and letters or image begging to blur or for me letters n detail blend so I can’t see clearly.
You would think that she would have figure that my nearsightedness was less important when compared to astigmatism BC regardless of correcting nearsighted or farsighted you can’t see with astigmatism.
2) she made each contact script different. One eye was –1.00 the other –1.50. My new optometrist asked why didn’t this red flag for me. I naively responded BC I thought she was doing her job right.
3) they under graded my eyesight, so it explained why with regular glasses things looked bolder BUT not clear or crisp.
I ended paying a pretty penny at this place to end up with wrong scripts that a yr later I had to get corrected. I am able to work a full 8hr day, watch tv, etc and not get headaches with my contacts. I can also drive and see fwy signs clearly now. Yeah talk about being an endangerment to society due to an incompetent dr.
