Alicia L Boutique

What a great find! I arrived in Frederick late Sunday afternoon and Alicia L was my first stop; it was one of the best shopping experiences I’ve had in a long time!
The dresses are gorgeous and unique. She has a wide range of sizes so there seems to be a good number of things to try on regardless of your size (size 2s, size 12s, and everywhere in between!). I find that boutiques can be tough because I only find one or two things you might like, but I ended up picking out 6 to try within minutes. As I tried them on, Alicia L could not have been more welcoming to my boyfriend and our dog. Our dog was not only allowed in the store, but was given water and treats. My boyfriend was given a bottle of water as well.
I ended up buying 3 dresses (!). The dresses were between $ 100 and $ 120 each and seemed appropriate for the quality and styles. The dresses were perfect for graduation parties or wedding/​baby showers. Even though my afternoon turned into a shopping spree, I felt great about the visit. I was happy to support such a lovely local business and cannot wait to make the trip from DC to visit Alicia L again!

This is my absolute favorite women’s clothing store in Frederick! Gorgeous things.
1. My teenage daughter and I can both shop here and find what we love. That doesn’t happen very often.
2. I know that I won’t walk around town and see 5 other women wearing my same outfit. Very important.
3. Everything is beautiful. Very stylish and trendy, but also classic, if that’s possible. There are all price ranges. But this is really where you want to get something for a special occasion, or as a very special gift.
