Noël and I went to the Franklin Theater to enjoy holiday viewing of «HOME ALONE» and when we came out of the theater it was dark and all the pretty holiday lights were all lit up. It gave you the urge to sing Christmas Songs and twirl… only think missing was snow. it would have been postcard beautiful with the snowflakes.
We stopped into the Kilwin’s Candy store… and OMG… a Fat Girl’s Heaven.
the girl behind the counter said…“HELLO would you like to try some fudge?”…OMG.would I !!! So I tried the Peppermint Bark Fudge and it was to DIE FOR!!! To Die For!!!
we sampled a few additonal flavors of fudge and it was all awesome.
We will definitely will be back here again.

Thoroughly enjoyed their fudge! We had peanut butter and I can’t remember the name of the other one. But it had caramel and nuts in a chocolate fudge. Both creamy and yummy! Service was efficient and friendly. Cute, fun little shop.

I had such high expectations for this spot!
I heard it was like Graeters (Ohio), but it’s not…
so I was a little disappointed, but I C E C R E A M though!
Upon walking in, we were offered a sample of their caramel corn, WOW. You just MUST try it.
Also, I’m super thankful that you can TRY anything, their salted caramel fudge was divine, try that too!
So, I was basically feeling super overwhelmed with ALL the flavors that are available. Too many options… I guess there should be something for everyone, which is appealing.
I tried a few different flavors, and wasn’t impressed particularly with any of them, so I decided on a safe bet, mint chocolate chip.
ONE scoop in a cup seemed PERFECT, not too much, and not too little.
I would really like to find the absolute best ice cream/​gelato/​yogurt spot in town, so we’re going to keep making our rounds, any recommendations, send them our way — Thanks :)

Kilwin’s is a chain that is a wonderful addition to downtown Franklin! Once in awhile, my husband and I like to go out for ice cream… it’s dangerous to keep any in the house! We went there last night (in frigid temperatures no less). I was happy to see some of my favorite Michigan flavors, such as REAL Mackinac Island Fudge. Great ice cream parlor atmosphere, friendly people and best of all… delicious hot fudge sundae. I have to get back for a caramel apple sometime. They gave us a free sample of fudge as well. It was good too! There’s not much else to say… I don’t think I have to convince anyone that premium ice cream is perfection.

My only problem with this place is that they opened a store in Franklin, Tennessee and now, I’ll need to double my time at the gym!
Seriously, though, this is some of the best ice cream I have ever tasted. My wife and I discovered Kilwin’s in Gatlinburg, Tennessee and we lamented the fact that they didn’t have a store close to us. Now they finally do.
My gym is very happy!

We always love some Kilwins! Best fudge ever– amazing, in-​house made ice creams! And candy!
