Gigis Cupcakes, rather straight out of a store-​bought box and pounds of lard cupcakes, are not only over priced and excessively caloric, but the company is also disrespectful to its workers. As a customer of the business (which I now regret) I have witnessed employees be treated poorly by managing staff. This business, which might have started out as a sweet cupcake shop, is now a greedy, unoriginal, corporation. I can also make better cupcakes at home.

Recieved a gift card and took my hubby figuring there would be no cupcakes for me because I have celiac disease and need gfbur nope the sweet girl behind the counter showed me my options and I had the best carrot cake cupcake sooo yummy ! Thanks guys I will be back !

So let’s address the bad first. The problem here is deciding which cupcake! We stop by here on the way home frequently when I must have my dessert. They are all so wonderful that it usually takes me 15 minutes to decide.
My favorite one so fat is the Midnight Magic with devil’s food cake and dark chocolate chips with a chocolate buttercream frosting. The peanut butter cup one is amazing with chocolate cake, peanut butter buttercream frosting drizzled with ganache. I’ve also had the Kentucky Bourbon Pie and the Cheesecake ones. I’ve never had a cupcake that wasn’t amazing. If you need a sweet tooth fix this is the place to go.

I love cupcakes and icing. In fact, I’m pretty sure I may be one of the few people in Nashville that DOESN’T scrape the icing off. In fact, I eat the icing first and then I eat the cake if I still have room.

The lady is so nice and the cupcakes are huge and delicious. My favorite cupcake is the chocolate fudge brownie cupcake. My mom’s favorite cupcake is the wedding cake cupcake. On my mom’s birthday last year, I got all three cupcakes for free. The cookie on the chocolate chip cookie cupcake is delicious. On every birthday, mine, my friends’ and my mom’s, I am going to Gigi’s Cupcakes. I hope I go there again soon.

2.5 stars. I had six different flavors… The champagne one was really good, but the rest I tried were not that great, including my favorite lemon and chocolate flavors. Meh. The box was nice.

Meh. Not impressed. No one was in the store, but it was in the middle of the day. The employee was in the back, but came out front to greet me quickly enough. And she was friendly enough, as well. Store was attractive and clean.
Having said that, I don’t care for the cupcakes. I have quite a sweet tooth, so for me to not lke the cake or icing is pretty bad. I can be picky about icing, but I had high hopes for GiGi’s icing after reading such glowing reviews about other locations. But, yech, it didn’t do it for me at all.
And, I felt like they might have been able to redeem themselves if the cupcake had been moist, and had good flavor. But, it was neither of those things. It was a huge disappointment! On the one hand, I’m glad for my ass that I didn’t like it. On the other though, I just wasted $ 7 for TWO cupcakes I plan on dumping in the trash. That’s pretty bad.
