This was my first visit and I’m so excited I found a gem. Arielle gave me an amazing hair cut. I would definitely recommend this salon. It is pricey compared to the other salons in downtown Franklin but it’s well worth it.

I visited Dion’s South last month and was impressed. I went in just for a haircut and my stylist listened to what I wanted and styled my hair how I like it and that’s hard to do. They have nice massage chairs while you are getting your hair shampoo’d and overally it’s a relaxing salon. The set up of the salon is that like a home where you have to go down 2 flights of steps to get to the shampoo room, lil odd but that won’t keep me from not coming back.

I’ve gotten my hair cut here a handful of times and have to say, even though every time I’ve gone, I’ve requested a junior hairstylist… They have ALL done an incredible job. They really take the time to make sure they are giving you a great haircut! Rachel was the stylist who served me last time and I think I might have found my stylist for LIFE! She gives the BEST massages when giving you a shampoo and gave me back some happiness and life after giving me an incredible haircut! She was very friendly too! Wishing my hair grows faster so I can see her again soon! From what I’ve heard, the owner really takes all of his stylists through great trainings and ensures they are ready to move up to the next level of professionalism before promoting them. Sounds like a great boss AND business!

I love Dion’s South! Richard has been cutting my hair for almost 2 years; I always get a perfect cut. I have very thick hair and after moving to Franklin, I tried several different salons, but never received a true, precision cut. That is, until I found Dion’s South and Richard. I would not go anywhere else for a hair cut or for hair care products. The location in downtown Franklin is great and the staff is always friendly. I absolutely love their Shu Uemura line. I highly recommend it! Treat yourself to a great salon experience.

I get constant compliments on both my hair color and style so I always refer people straight to Richard. Every experience is a perfect mix of professional service and friendly conversation that feels as comfortable as family.
