Food is good. Simple as that. Even though they have some tables to dine in, I think ts better to do take out. It was very hot in the dining area since Kitchen is open. Which is a good thing because you can see what’s going on. We ordered hummus, ashuk, chicken kabobs sandwich, chicken gyro platter, and chapli chicken. Everything was cooked to order and tasteful. Portions are large.

The food is amazing. We stopped mid afternoon after a round of golf. We were the only customers. Had 4 terrific appetizers, chicken kabobs, and homemade pastry. We’ll be back every time in the area.

First time here. I was going to go to Hoagie Haven, but wanted something different. We ordered the Lamb Tikka Kabob with Afghan rice, and the Mixed Gyro platter with brown rice. The Afghan rice is basically brown rice with cooked carrots and raisins on top. The lamb was cooked and seasoned beautifully and so was the mixed gyro platter. They give you a lot of rice in addition to hot sauce(not that hot) and a white tzatziki sauce. It’s nothing like the Halal guys’ chicken/lamb and rice, but it tastes more authentic. The only reason why I have it 4 stars is because the service(which doesn’t really bother me most times) was kind of cold. When he served the plates, he kind of just dropped the silverware and the food with a clatter, instead of putting it down gently. We were the only ones there too, but it was kind of surprising. Also, I wish the hot sauce was hotter, but it tastes like watered down Frank’s Red Hot. I may not be back again for sit down, but I could probably do take out.

Had a chance to re-visit Kababery; this time armed with a bit more Afghani food experience under my belt and with my sidekick(sister) making sure I stay in check LOL. Kadu appetizer was just as awesome as I remembered. Ashuk dumpling appetizer was the new dish I tried. Excellent appetizer. The dumpling skin was silky smooth and the leek filling was aromatic and filled with interesting spices and flavors. The drizzle of olive oil and spices on top of the delicate dumplings was so flavorsome. I had the Lamb Tikka Kebob platter and it was good, but not without some slight issues. Afghani rice was very tasty and served in super generous portions. The Afghan bread was a bit dry and tad stale. Lamb chunks were very generously portioned as well but had a bit more char than I would like. Nonetheless it was seasoned well and very fresh tasting. Sister had the Beef Chapli platter and it was okay. Spices used for the Chapli patty were very interesting but clearly overpowered the beef. Side serving of Aghani rice was huge! Dine-in service was notably excellent with the server very courteously distributing us our dishes and providing us extra napkins and utensils.

Don’t let the location fool you. You are smarter then that. Stop what you doing. Get your ass here. Fresh and reasonable is what you get here.

This place has been my go-to spot for the past 4 months. Once I ate here once I couldnt stop coming. The meats are expertly spiced and delicately grilled. The yogurt sauce is extremely addictive. I pretty much pour it over the rice which is also pretty special. Comes with raisins and carrots. Just yummy. I usually grab the gyro platter with kababery rice or the lamb tikka. The portions are extremely generous and the prices are reasonably distributed.

Had lunch here on Sunday, it was not busy as it was an off time. The restaurant was a little hot, air conditioning was not on but it was not too bad. Plain décor but seemed clean. You could see right into the cooking area and it seemed clean as well. I has the Lamb Tikka Kabob and a Snapple. The price was reasonable. The order came with salad and bread. The salad was passable but was really just lettuce with about 5 other pieces of vegetables. The bread on the the other hand was very good, don’t know exactly what it was called but it was covered with sesame seeds. I ordered the Kabobs with the Afghan rice and it was the right choice. There was a lot of the rice, more than I could eat. It was flavorful. On the outside the kabobs had the perfect texture and the spice was OK. My preference is toward spicy so I would have preferred more but the spice that was there was pleasant. The pieces of lamb were quite big and the meat on the inside was understandably not as flavorful as that on the outside. It would have been better if the meat was grilled in smaller portions. Overall I would say it was a good experience but nothing extraordinary. I may come back to try some other dishes in the future, after I try some of the similar restaurants in the area.

Looks like the place is under new ownership. Quality of food has gone down significantly. The food doesn’t taste freshly prepared. The quality of free bread has also plummeted. We used to love this place, but it is possibly the last time we would be going there. The floor seems sticky and a little dirty as well. The quality of cream rolls has stayed the same and they are fantastic-like they used to be.

Good food. Great Lamb chops. Meat is grilled to perfection. Less salt, thus you can add if you want. Why did you retire your frequent customer coupon?

One of many lunch choices in the area, Kababery always wins out for me. I love the exotic spices. And the chicken is so tender and juicy. I look forward to my next visit. I work nearby, when I bought it back for lunch, the aroma drove my coworkers nuts. Hopefully they will visit too.

I absolutley love this place. I come often(weekly or so) for lunch with a large group and we have never had any services issues. The Lamb meat could use some sauce, but they are starting to give you this with the lunch special which is huge. The mix gyro is what really stands out in my mind here. The Chicken is tremendously flavorful a little less dry than the Lamb. Don’t even get me started about the grilled hot peppers… heaven! A recommendation for the lunch menu is to split the Hummus /Shepards Salad with someone and mix them together. This is delicious not only as an appetizier, but goes great on top of the Lamb. Highly recommended. If you could not tell already, I really, really like this place and would recommend it to anyone.

Standard Indian food, self served so tip isn’t required. Like them or check in on Facebook and you get 10% off your bill. Credit card minimum is $ 15.00. Atmosphere is more like fast food/take out. Portions are fair, big enough to share. The lamb tikka kabob platter comes with a salad. I wish there was more lamb than rice. Quite flavorful, friendly service, they kept asking us how the food was. I would say this is okay for a quick lunch, not really a dinner kind of spot unless you’re looking to do take out.

We came here as a last minute dining option after taking our daughter to her allergy specialist and we were not disappointed. We drove right past it at first because they still had the old«Afghan Kebab House» sign up, but realized it was the place. Along with the new name, it is also under new management and the owner we met and is very friendly. This place is in a strip mall and has a «take out» feel to it, but they have enough seating to accommodate at least a dozen or slightly more people at one time. As soon as you walk in you are overwhelmed with the smell of grilled kebabs which is mouth watering. They have a very full menu with everything you would expect from an Afghani restaurant and more. My wife ordered the Falafal, Hummus and Kadu. I had the Kebob combo. Everything was very good and the Kadu was actually something that was new to us and very enjoyable. I would highly recommend this place and will be coming back the next time we are in the area.

Perfectly seasoned, cooked just right, succulent kebabs! We tried the«Kebob platter» and they were all good. 2 types of chicken, lamb and beef. Came with Afghan Kabuli rice which was different and tasty. Plenty of food for 2 good eaters at $ 18. The falafels were ok(but who cares?!). The white and green sauces were zesty and went really well with the food. To round up the meal, I(guiltily) enjoyed the cream rolls too! The place isn’t much to look at, but we’re happy doing take out. Must mention the customer centricity — I called ahead to place our order and towards the end upon hearing my name, the person who took the order mentioned that the platter contained beef(which I didn’t find offensive because of the manner in which it was brought up). When we picked up the order, he also packed a complimentary salad! Definitely going back soon!

Great little place with lots of flavor. i would totally give it a 5 however my beef kabob was hard as rocks and I couldn’t eat it. The reason I gave the 4 stars was bc the rice was amazing, service was fast and super friendly. Also my husband ordered lamb gyro combo and his was delicious and the meat was tender. Will definitely be going back to try other things on the menu. Oh and their white and green sauce are amazing!

Been coming here since day one and we are still obsessed with this place. The afghani rice is sooooooo good. The white sauce is awesome on everything from salad, to bread, to rice… I swear it might even have been good in my iced tea! j/k I always get the chicken kabab platter for my 6 yr old. Chicken is always juicy, never dry. He loves it. I get the gyros sometimes but the lamb or chicken kurma is also awesome. not a lot of meat in them though but you get salad, rice, bread and a drink.

For the food I would rate it a sure shot 5. The best medi food you can find. After the food don’t forget to ask for their awesome cream rolls… Freshly made. Just melts in the mouth. Yum! 1 less rating because it is more of a take out joint but you sure can sit and eat here. Just that not a great ambience. I can have all three meals at this place. And while i write this review I feel like going and picking up a lamb gyro for myself.

Came here with my family because there was another Afghan place near by that closed down(Choopan grill). This place has plenty of seating area but has the vibe of a take out place. They have plenty of items on the menu that are not Afghani food items. I ended up ordering Lamb chops platter which were good but nothing out of this world. The platter came with a house salad which was excellent because of the white sauce(their sauce is really good). They also give you bread which was good but didn’t taste like it was freshly made. The platter also came with Kabuli rice(raisins and carrots) which was really good. Overall, this is a C+ restaurant and the pricing is pretty good for the amount of food they give. If I lived closed by I would come here more often for the bang for your buck.
