Poor service. First time I went there they were very nice. Got a nice cut. They called me prior to my second appointment scheduled for 11:15 am today to say Haley was running behind and they had 11:45 or 5:00 pm open. I selected 5:00 pm time. I arrived 20 minutes early and Haley told me first she thought it was at 5:30 then saw it was 5:00 and told me I would have to wait. I waited to 5:15 and told the receptionist this was poor service. She explained it had been a bad day. Does a customers time account for anything? I’ll find someplace that gives a good cut and considers the customer!

I can’t remember the name of the lady who did my hair (I think Heather) but I’m very happy with it. I just moved here and came here on a whim. The stylist listened to what I wanted and made sure she understood my request and I’m happy about that.
Please, please make an effort to put something around clients’ hair lines to keep color from getting all around our faces! When I got in my car I was a mess and had to go back in to see if someone could remove it. My visit cost over $ 150 so this is not too much to ask.

The modern atmosphere makes you feel like your going to have an excellent experience and the wonderful stylists exceed your expectations!
I can’t not brag on Heather enough, she is amazing! I have never met a stylist so committed to education and she stays on top of all the new products and treatments to give you the best option! She is well versed in color and has been able to achieve colors I though would never be possible for my naturally black hair. Usually when I have to start with a new stylist I am disappointed the first few times because I have difficult hair but heather was not taken back at all she knew exactly what to do and did it great!
They carry bumble and bumble products which I love love love! These products not only do wonders for my hair but smell amazing too! You can’t go wrong with the invisible hairdressers oil!

I was referred to this location by a good friend of mine. Mainly because this is the only place that had body waxing services available locally (frankfort). Long story short, their waxes are HORRIBLE. Their waxing technique is so terrible. They will leave you sore & sensitive down there for days. When I complained that my wax job was not done completely, I was told that my next job would be on the house. Well when I returned, the job was not done correctly once again. Needless to say, I will NOT be back and I would NOT suggest anyone to receive a Brazilian was here. AT ALL. PS if zero stars were available THATS what they would receive.

Great salon — especially for Frankfort. The main location is in Lexington and several of the stylist travel between both stores.
This is a Bumble and Bumble salon — a great product line, especially for curly hair.
I appreciate that the stylist do not try push their product lines. I’ve had my hair trimmed by 3 different stylists and my husband the same. I really like the pricing between the levels. Karie and Kelly are awesome! (Karie specializes in curly hair.)
The girl at the front desk is very hospitable and friendly. I had my eye brows waxed here once before, a little more expensive and average results. This is the only aspect of Planet Salon that hasn’t impressed me.

I’ll give 2 stars as the space was ok and my stylist was friendly. As for the cut, initially it was ok, until I washed it… it isn’t even, which is the point, and I asked for textured ends and thinning out the thickness and neither was done appropriately… I feel like I need another cut already b/​c my hair is uneven and not much lighter feeling…40 dollars later… disappointed for the price. I thought it would be better.

I first came to Planet Salon at the Hamburg location to get a manicure. One of the stylists did my nails and she did a great job. I had moved to town recently and was still trying to find a hairstylist that I really liked. So I booked Jessica to do my hair. I loved what she did so I started seeing her on a regular basis. At the time, I was living out in Masterson Station and driving across town to Hamburg was kind of a pain so when they opened this one in Frankfort and Jessica moved out there as part owner, I was more than happy to follow her out there. The drive was about the same, a prettier drive, and parking is way better. Since then, I’ve now moved out to the Hamburg side of town but I still drive out to Frankfort to have Jessica do my hair. She does my cut and color. I’ve also had another gal do my eyebrows as a tweeze only. It’s the only time I’ve had my brows done that didn’t wreak havoc on my skin. And I’ve tried waxing several times, as well as threading. Every time, I would get horrible bumps above and below my brows that would last for weeks. So when I was getting my hair done, I asked if they did tweezing only and they said yes. No bumps! Yay! I can’t remember how much they charged but it was minimal, like $ 10 or $ 15. She did it while my color was processing. So easy and accomodating. Now my husband gets his hair cut by Jessica.
It’s a great salon with a wonderful atmosphere. It’s right off the Interstate so it’s not a bad drive from Lexington, at all. Just a straight shot.

I used to travel to lexington to get my hair done at Planet Salon in Hamburg. Thank goodness they have came to Frankfort. I love the fact that it looks so similar to the hamburg location. Sometimes I forget I’m still in frankfort when I’m there. It’s very pretty and classy looking. Everyone is very welcoming. Ready to offer me a drink soon as I walk in the door. I had a full day at the salon. My husband got me a gift certificate for christmas. I came in the salon for a pamper day (which was much needed being a mother and all) was only there around 3 hours or so. I left feeling like a brand new woman. I got some beautiful natural looking highlights, my makeup done!!! Oh and can’t forgot I got a Brazilian. I will say I was scared but it wasn’t as bad as I thought. My husband talked me into doing it. I love it!!! I won’t go anywhere else. When I’m there I totally feel welcomed. I love the conversations I have with my stylist as well!!! Go get your hair done there, I promise you will leave feeling gorgeous.
