Paradise Smoothie & Coffee

The absolute best place around for smoothies! They have so many different combinations to choose from and make up. And the seating area inside is very nice.

My smoothie has been kind of bland the last few times. Out of season, maybe not as fresh things I have been ordering? Combination of that and too much ice, or perhaps I am one of those annoying customers that just burnt their tongue on their coffee earlier. anyway, things are usually pretty delicious. I wish they would go back to the espresso machine! It’s sitting there getting dusty. they could double their clientele if they properly learned to make some awesome espresso drinks, especially with the cold season coming soon. There is no Starbucks or coffee/​tea place nearby. it makes me sad that they said they are selling the espresso machine. Anyway, I can’t not give it five stars, because we have nothing else around here that is this great and delicious.

Don’t ever go here– don’t ever ever ever ever go here. It’s addicting as hell and you will find yourself leaving and wanting to go back the next morning. (And I can’t even get my husband to go grab me one, so I’m pretty much out of luck)
I ordered the green tea smoothie with pineapple flavor and tapioca pearls. It was delicious and oh so perfect. For the tea smoothies, they offer 3 tea options (chai, thai and green), then you pick your add-​in flavor if wanted and you can also add tapioca pearls for $ 0.35. Not only did my smoothie taste like a mixture of green tea and pineapple, there were actually real chunks of pineapple in it. When I took a sip through that giant straw, I was not only greeted with tapioca balls, I also was delighted by the enormous bites of pineapple.
This would be a cool place to hang out and do some homework or just have a deep conversation about the meaning of life with some friends. I came alone, so alas, I will go another day without knowing the answer to this question.
Service was great and he helped me make a decision on my drink. Highly recommend this place for a little treat if you’re nearby!

This place is pretty awesome. They seriously have 30 bajillion different smoothie flavors and add-​ins. I always get milk tea and it’s pretty much the best thing on earth. I’ve also managed to sneak tastes of the Thai milk tea and taro, both are major yum. My husband would recommend the tapioca bobas as well.
My husband’a FAVORITE THING EVAR is their lid machine that melts the piece of plastic over the top.
The shop is very clean and staff are friendly and efficient. There are a few tables and a couch to sit in and several computers. Being so close to a couple schools, I have seen this place pack up first hand with Tweens.

I am just really excited that there is finally a bubble tea place near my parent’s home! The bubble tea was good.
I was expecting to have a really extensive list of flavors to choose from (based upon other Unilocalers), but I thought there menu was just average. I am just use to the extensive menu options at the Bubble Tea Café in St. Louis (on Delmar), so I was definitely a little bit disappointed when I came to Paradise Smoothie & Coffee.
But it is a fun spot to meet up with friends in the south suburbs of Chicago. And they do have several flavor options, some of which are really unique (i.e. jackfruit — but I actually dont recommend that flavor).

Nice selection, friendly staff, interesting presentation. Wish I could get the nutrition facts though. Did I mention the selection is HUGE?

I wish I could order a smaller size smoothie; my bubble tea was huge and kinda pricey. It tasted great, and the tapioca texture and amount was perfect.

It would have 5 stars but the coffee machine doesn’t work so no coffee

Holy cow… I love this place. I don’t think there’s really a science or art to this but I keep forking over $ 5 for a passion pineapple smoothie… options/​combos are virtually unlimited.

I love this place! They have the most unique drinks around, and they all taste AWESOME!
Last time I was in here (yesterday), The Girl got a Iced Caramel Coffee, and I got a coconut and «some-fruit-I-never-heard-of»…they both we great.
I especially like the way they cover the smoothies with cellophane with Japanese characters on it, that you have to use your straw to poke through to drink… very different

I was first introduced to this place by a co-​worker of mine. It’s hard to find good shake places where they serve tapioca pearls with your shakes and when I came to this place I was amazed by the amount of variety they had! The staff is extremely nice here. Sometimes the service can be pretty slow but only because it «looks» like a family owned place and not many people working in the back like Jamba Juice or anything but well worth the wait.
I love how you can customize your drink to whatever you feel like mixing!
My personal favorite is the taro and coconut with tapioca. EVERYTIME I’m in the area I have to go to this place. That’s how good it is.

The joy of poking that fat straw through the shrink wrap. .. beautiful! I want to go back tomorrow. I always order the berry sensation but I suspect I would enjoy other flavors as much. But that berry sensation is amazing.
When I lived in Florida I used to get smoothies all the time, after a workout or even for lunch. And when I moved up here (first to Milwaukee, now here) I thought I’d never have a yummy smoothie like that again. I was wrong.

I LOVE how you can customize and make any concoction that your little heart desires.
I picked orange, blueberry and avocado (Don’t knock it! Makes the smoothie suuuper creamy! and you can’t taste it!) It was delicious! We asked the girl what they use as a liquid base and she said it was a naturally flavored mixed juice… but she seemed a little clueless when we asked her — like she wasn’t exactly sure.
$ 3.95 for — I believe a 16 ounce cup and each add-​in is 30 cents but the avocado is 75 cents. That can add up pretty quickly as my smoothie was almost $ 6. Yikes.
All in all, if I’m in the area I’ll be back for more smoothies!

This place must be great. Have I tried it yet myself no but if I was going to this would be the place. I say its great because all of my employees go there every weekend. And I mean one person will go and come back with like 10 of them for some of the staff. I have meet a few of the staff members and nothing but good things can be said about the. So if your in the area and have the taste for a smoothie stop on in and give them a try.

Ohhh yeah! First 5 star rating. This place is the reason I might need to check in to smoothie rehab.
If it wasn’t for one of my work friends, I would never have seen this little smoothie place. It’s in a growing strip mall with mostly vacant spaces and it doesn’t face the main road. Still, this cute and colorful stop on my weekly routine gets pretty busy at times. Especially when school let’s out since it is walking distance from the highschool.
Everytime I go to get a fix, I stare at the chalkboard of «customer/​employee favorites» and/​or custom smoothie list for at least 5 mins while smoke pours from my ears. I can never decide. The combinations are endless. You can get a drink here every day for the rest of your life and make it different each time (I might give that a try.) The people that work here always greet you with a smile and are friendly and energetic. They also help with my indecision at times. My favorites are banana peanut butter, chocolate strawberry banana, and butterscotch iced coffee. the list goes on. You can add protein, energy, or tapioca balls to any smoothie choice. They are very clean and you can see all the fresh fruit they use right behind the register.
Enjoy your smoothie there and play a game of giant checkers, watch tv, grab a snack, or check your email on one of their free computers. Addiction is inevitable.
