Stopped in and I did not expect much. We order a cheeseburger and a gyro plate. The gyro was ok, but that was a GOOOOOD burger. It was even cooked medium rare. I expected it to be soooo bad too HAHAHA. Such a hole in the wall. I love it. I will definitely return next time I am in the area.

Had an order of 4 wings and fries and a Greek chicken breast dinner. The wings tasted like Brown’s chicken with less breading, which I consider a good thing. The Greek chicken dinner included potatoes and rice. It was all delicious and I was sad that I devoured it instead of taking my time. Next trip I’ll pass on the American fare and get something Greek.

I come here weekly, this is my favorite place to eat in Frankfort. Pete the owner is so nice to every person that walks in.
Every thing I have tried is very good but my favorite meal is the Greek chicken and potatoes which also comes with soup. Best deal in town!

Lived here for years. Never knew it was here. I had to double cheeseburger. Had no idea it would be so big. Delicious. Chili was also very good. The staff is really friendly. Don’t drive passed without stopping in.

Greasy spoon with attention to detail. That sweet spot between fast food and contemporary generic American chain. Total hole in the wall, but there owner is a genuine real deal character, and he will bend over backwards for the customers. Take out is easy and prompt. The chicken dumpling soup is surprisingly good, as well as the Greek potatoes, and in the morning, pancakes are legit and amply portioned. Oh, Pete also pulled off an emergency catering for a party after Salinas made a mistake! Talk about hustle!

This is how a restaurant should be run!!! Friendly owner who is happy for your business and serves you with a smile. I’d go back just for that. Fortunately for everybody this place has the food to match the service. We had a burger, the Greek chicken and soups. Everything was fresh, tasted great and clearly homemade. Go there now and thank me later.

Love this place who needs Greek town when you can have the best home cooked authentic Greek food; pasticio and soup for $ 5.95 and souvlaki, huge burgers, gyros, fresh breakfast. And Pete loves to share a cup of Greek coffee and a few jokes. ;) great place don’t let the exterior scare you.

It’s a cool little joint. The food is always good. I’m a fan of the gyro and the homemade sauce or the perch dinner. Pete the owner is a blast. Good stuff, hot food, quick service and you can’t beat the prices. Its our go to when we need a quick meal or want the gyro. Give it a shot, you won’t regret it.

This place has always scared me away because it is a total hole in the wall. The food is decent but nothing special. The service is fairly average. The interior could use some updating. Seems to be very popular with law enforcement, the 3 times I’ve been there there has been plenty of police on hand.

I absolutely love this place! I have been coming here for well over 7 years. It’s a place where my family can go, sit down, and have a wonderful meal. We personally know the owner, and he always sits down and talks with us. It’s a great feeling to actually be cared for one-​on-​one by him. He’s a great guy and so is his wife and son. Greatest place to eat, great atmosphere, and great service.

Calling this place a hole in the wall is saying it nicely. Its a little dirty. I had the greek chicken and it was good. The owner went out of his way to check on us and take care of us. He was very nice. My son had the burger and fries and he liked them. Its a small place and there were a lot of people eating here. Coppers and construction workers. I will go back to try other things.

I’m holding back because I’ve only eaten here once. I got the hot dog which I ordered «Chicago style» The hot dog was far from it. No cucumbers, celery salt, or pickles. the hot dog was also one of those witeish «mystery meat» hot dogs. Definitely not brand name.
The reason they didn’t get less stars are because hot dogs are not their specialty, and the service was EXTREMELY friendly. I’ll probably be back to try some other menu items.

If you are sick of all the chain restaurants where the food is getting more expensive and the portions are getting smaller, try Hot Grill! Pete is the best and I love the chicken souvlaki. It is great for catering too!

And the potato soup. for an extra $ 1.00?!
Thick, rich, and a nice touch of dill.

excellent food, great prices.
Don’t judge a book by its cover… the outside of this place wills care you off, but inside awaits Greek chicken, chopped steak sandwich, and yes, even liver!!!
