Superb & consistent customer service (for 8 years) from Patrick, owner, & Jo! Patrick did outstanding job all of our home’s custom fabric and shade window treatments, custom furniture (I designed & he manufactured & reupholstered), reupholstered chairs and many of our lighting and fan fixtures. All of the products ordered from Patrick were/​are top-​notch and have held up well. Only one custom blind needed fixed. Patrick rushed it and fixed it. More recently, Jo helped me pick out fabric for reupholstered chair & gave excellent service for another customized project (& even ordered hard-​to-​find sliders for custom ceiling curtain fixture). Also, they offer excellent selection of fabrics! Unlike some other fabric stores, DFF has a great selection in stock. Designers and ultimate consumers can buy/​take home immediately. I’m staging more homes & plan to continue to buy from Decorative Fabric & Furniture House.

I agree with the other ‘one star’ reviewers, the staff is horrible, especially the senior woman.
I will never go there again.

I was back again! What can I say. Last year I decorated my main house. This year I was back to decorate a little beach home that my husband and I had purchased. Again… thank you thank you Patrick! Patrick personally assisted me with my latest project from custom bedding to rugs to beautiful upholstered furniture. I am so pleased with all of my pieces. Patrick assisted me with putting everything together and in a timely manner… for I really wanted everything together before summer.
Patrick is wonderful, helpful and always there with a warm and calm presence.
I can’t say that I will buying another home any time soon… but will definitely recommend Decorative Fabrics to friends and family.

If you don’t love Decorative Fabric & Furniture, then you simply don’t appreciate where you are.
First of all, the prices are better than the Fabric District, so you can save that long ass drive because there is no reason for it.
Second, on top of their great prices on fabric, they offer a 15% off for a Unilocal check in (hellz ya).
Third, the owner, Patrick is amazing. Let me warn you sensitive folk though, this man is not going to sell you something ugly. If you walk in and show him a picture of your living room, he is not going to hold a parade in your honor to praise you for your design choices. He is going to tell you how to fix that mess. And isn’t that why you walked in anyway?
Patrick is going to be honest. Why? Because he values your time and energy and I appreciate that more than anything.

Very large selection of fabric, rods and furniture. My sales woman Angela was amazing the curtains ahe helped me with to custom fit my 8’x9’ window with a rod turned out great. She has helped with wonderful throw pillows for my couch. Friendly lady

One star. One word… Rude!

I have visited this establishment twice in the last month. Both times I was snubbed by somebody who looked like he’d fallen off the cover of Gigolo Magazine. I thought the first snub was a mistake or maybe there wasn’t anyone who spoke English. I tried a second time on another day. I still didn’t learn anyone’s name. Again my questions were met with one grunt answers and no interest in conducting business. I am a professional member of the ASID and was shopping for a client. I know the difference between people I want to do business with and those I don’t. D F & F House isn’t one of them. All I can think is that they are just waiting out their lease or the owner needs a write-​off. There are so many others hungry for business and literally right around the corner!

Well, this is a place that has the potential to be an amazing company, but falls short due to the staff. The abundance of fabrics and reasonably priced custom furniture at first made me so excited for the infinite possibilities. Unfortunately, my first custom furniture order was quoted a 4 to 6 week lead time, and actually took over 11 weeks to deliver. I kept being told next week, next week. I was told numerous times that they would call me to update me, but they would rarely generate a call. Then when I would call, I wouldn’t get a call back for over a week until I called myself again. Really bad customer service and a lot of dishonesty going on. I feel the staff has an arrogant attitude. As a designer who has run a company and worked with many clients, I would fire any staff who operated this way. I wish my experience had been better as I would have purchased much more from them.

If I could give this business a 0 I would without hesitation. In years past I have frequented Deco Fabric House. The decorator’s were always friendly and helpful, more than willing to help find the fabrics you need. The custom products they made were first class. However today, I went in looking for fabric. The two women sitting behind the counter could have cared less about helping, when I walked to the counter and asked for assistance, the one woman huffed as tho she was being bothered. This is now the second time this has happened within the last year. So… I am done. In this economy, one would think businesses would more than happy to help clients and grateful for any business, obviously not Deco Fabric House. I won’t be back, ever!
