I came here around 3:30 pm on 5⁄18. This is the first time I felt not welcomed to chipotle. The store was completely empty when I walked in. The younger/shorter woman who was working the line rudely greeted me and expressed severe attitude towards me when I asked for more cheese. On the other hand, Jeanette was super friendly and sweet while she was ringing up my order. The other woman who was working the line needs to reevaluate her performance. I will never return to this location.

I’ve been coming here for the last 4 months since I moved down the street, I come here at least twice a week and I leave disappointed every single time. The convenience of having this Chipotle down the street and my love for it are not enough anymore. At the other establishments(Golden West & York, you guys rule!) I never had to ask for any«extra» as they are reasonably generous with their portions. This one serves you half a scoop of everything, no joke. They always make me feel rushed, yet they are never busy and even if they were, does it really get any faster than scooping stuff onto a container? Come on! They never listen to their guests and they have overcharged me at least 3 times. But this is the last straw… Today I went in, me being the ONLY customer, I still felt rushed. Had to ask for a little more of everything, their portions here are significantly smaller than other Chipotles. I always get a veggie bowl and a chicken bowl plus chips. I got over charged yet again for two chicken bowls and a side of guac(guac is included in the veggie bowl). Do I have to micromanage everything they do? They have no communication between the preparer and the cashier and I have to specify that I have a veggie bowl to avoid the guac extra charge. Every Time and I still tip them! My husband’s bowl was a joke, when he opened it, it looked like it was half eaten. With all the trouble that the Chipotle brand has had lately, I have still remained a loyal customer. It is disappointing to see that as much as they care for the quality of their food, their staff doesn’t care for the quality of their service. What a shame. Adiós Chipotle!

I’m only giving 2 stars cuz I normally LOVE chipotle and normally extremely satisfied. I come to chipotle more often than most so I know what’s a decent portion size. I ordered 2 bowls one for me and one for my dad. I asked for sofritas for mine and I got maybe half a spoon full and I asked for more and she hit me with the extra charge speech. I had also asked for extra rice and all she did was put like a few extra grains on and spread what was already in the bowl out to make it look like more. On my dads I got double chicken and double rice. If I’m asking for double chicken and double rice(she did the same thing with the rice for my dads bowl as she did with mine), it shouldn’t be the equivalent to a normal sized bowl. I’m paying for extra so I expect extra. And don’t hit me with a double charge extra meat cuz I asked for a little more from your skimpy scoops. Also my rice was freakin hard! so INCREDIBLY disappointed with this location in particular

I change my mind about this place. Today I had a great customer service experience and Vanessa served us and that changed the dynamic of the place. She welcomed us with a smile, asked how our day was, offered additional sides and so customer friendly. I haven’t been going to Chipotle for a long time because of the experience but now I’ll be sure to go back to this location only as the other locations I havent been impressed yet. To the management, can you pls take the time to give recognition to your employee Vanessa because you just regained my family’s business again!!! Maybe even consider giving her a raise.

My server gave me less meat than the Caucasian folks behind me. Maybe it was an accident but their portion of meat was significantly larger. Probably because«they tip more»

I’m really sad to give this place 2 stars because it’s close by. But today was the deal breaker for me. I went in and ordered a veggie bowl with pinto beans, mild salsa, corn, sour cream, guacamole and lettuce. The whole bowl was bland. You couldn’t taste the rice, the salsa was watery, sour cream tasted like nothing, pinto beans flavorless, the corn which is usually my favorite thing to eat made me not want to eat it at all, lettuce was wilted and the guacamole was so salty. I couldn’t even eat half the bowl because it tasted like I ate nothing. This Chipotle location is really inconsistent with their portions and customer service. So if you want to take a gamble go to this location but I’m done eating at this Chipotle location.

Daaaamnnnn the hate is real on this place lol. Well me and homie had lunch here and it was good. It was the first time we ever ate at Chipotle, and we were embarrassed to order anything because we didn’t know any better lol. But the lady serving us was sweet and kind, gave us portions to try out if we like it or not, and hooked us up on some extra meat. Their customer service made us feel welcomed, and the prices didn’t hurt our wallets at all. The place was clean, and had an awesome atmosphere. I would come back and eat here again

One of the most very common complaints about Chipotle is inconsistent portions. Sometimes you get a lot, sometimes you don’t and they jip you short when your paying a lot of money. Especially on the meat part. Meals here cost $ 7-$ 8+ per person. Food is whatever. There’s plenty of other real genuine mexican places around that taste better and cost less. The customer service here is poor, most employees seem like robots saying the generic things over and over, in a hurry to rush you out the door. It’s like they don’t even know how the public perceives them. How about acting like a normal human being that is friendly, smiles a lot, and is passionate about their job?

I wish I could give zero stars. There was a hair in the middle of my guacamole. Disgusting! I will never eat here again.

I love chipotle and I actually come here a lot. The customer service is really good at this location. Everything about this place is great. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because sometimes the mild sauce is a little spicy, the steak is sometimes too fatty, and meat portions are inconsistent. Some days I get a good amount of meat some days I get very little. But overall it’s a great place. Great atmosphere. Clean. Will definitely be back. Will update review if these issues are fixed. Please increase portions.

I would have to agree with some of the other reviews on here with the crappy customer service. Chipotle is Chipotle but the staff need to be managed and they need to remember that we are the paying customers at the end of the day. Never coming back to this location.

Someone really should have explained to the crew at the team meeting today, that all of those free burrito and taco coupons the company gave out were meant to(re)engender good will toward the customer base. Unfortunately, they didn’t. I was powered through the assembly line by rude employees that assembled my food without offering to explain any of the options. Even when I asked for an explanation I didn’t receive an informed answer. I asked about the differences in the salsa choices, the answer I received was«mild, medium or hot». That’s it? Really? Because one is green, they all have different consistencies, and it looked like there may have been five choices total, and at least one of them looked like corn. I’ll never know, because they didn’t answer questions even when asked, and I shouldn’t have needed to ask, with ten of them standing there they should have all taken the time to offer; there wasn’t a line, or any reason at all to be rushing me through there pseudo-efficient slop-machine. Which brings me to the food. There wasn’t an explanation of the any of the options next to the individual food choices, and the«menu board» didn’t line up with food stations, so I when I stood in front of the meat choices, the menu above, behind, and off to one side said«veggies». And meanwhile my food is being handed off down the line, so rather than have a minute to read, or even better receive an explanation… Never mind, you get it. Long story short: the steak had a metallic taste so off-putting that half of that taco went in the garbage, the grilled chicken was just ok, the barbacoa was good, but I should never be charged for guacamole. I get it, if you want extra sure, charge for it, but guacamole is not an «extra». If you like the Apple Store, you might Chipotle. but for the rest of us, especially in Southern California, there are literally thousands of better places to get some Mexican food. Poor food and a lousy business model. At least I don’t feel sick, yet.

I will start off with… employees are rude, unwelcoming and very unprofessional. Quality of food very small portions and food was bland, dry and not very appealing. Ordered burrito barbacoa dry, beans had a bad taste to them(old). Staff rude, argumentative, use of foul language amongst themselves with customers present. Very disappointing. Lastly, when I went to sit down and eat I thought I was at a night club. The music was so loud people we yelling at each other to talk. I asked them to please lower the music and was given attitude about it. It took them 15 min to lower it down a hairline. Really! I don’t like leaving bad reviews but in this case I couldn’t help it. Hope this helps you!

Worst chipotle location. Consistently rude staff with small portion size. The employees argue with customers and roll eyes. Ordered chips and guacamole, got home and this is how many chips there are, bag is 10% full with mostly broken chip crumbs. I’m done with this location.

Went here for late night dinner, in hopes they would satisfy my usual chipotle craving. Boy was I wrong, not only was I not greeted, making me feel welcome was not their top priority. Once it was my turn to order, the employee bluntly asked in the most emotionless way«what do you want». Hearing that really took me by surprise. I quickly stated my order in hopes to get out of there as soon as possible, while the employee hastily rushed me through the sections and being skimped on rice, beans, meat, and other additions. To be honest I have never received a bowl from chipotle that made me lose my appetite. I will NEVER be returning to this chipotle.

Overall, this is the worst Chipotle I’ve ever been to. I bet I’ve been to at least 30 different locations across the U.S. from Florida to Arkansas to Texas to California and this was easily the worst. I won’t say the food was cold, because it’s ridiculous when people say that, but it certainly wasn’t warm. Not a big fan of room temperature chicken. And what’s the point of the bowl if you can only have it 1⁄3 full? When I asked for some flour tortillas with my bowl I ended up with a big, wadded-up burrito tortillas that I couldn’t unfold without tearing. The restaurant seemed clean, but that’s something you should expect from a restaurant. The bottom line is that you come to a restaurant to get food and the food here was portioned small and not hot. Definitely will recommend against going to this location.

3.5 stars — I went to get my usual sofritas bowl with a bag of tortilla chips. Got home and when I grabbed a chip to munch on, it was stale. I understand that they fry twice a day but during a dinner rush, I expect the chips to be crispy even if they were fried a few hours prior to the dinner rush. I like Chipotle for a quick easy meal and I love that they offer vegan options and recently have gone GMO-free. May I offer a suggestion? Please fry a fresh batch of chips perhaps an hour or two before the dinner rush? Thank you! :)

First of all, I want to say that I am in love with chipotle. At any of the locations, the food has always been the same, and the taste is always great. For the price that you pay, it’s an obvious choice in my opinion. Therefore, in my last trip to the city, I stopped at this chipotle. In the past I have went to the one across from Westminster Mall, but this one was on the way of where I was going. I have to say, I enjoyed my experience there better, for the sole purpose of service. There, they keep you moving along the line at a quick pace. A long line is no problem, as you are in and out in 10 minutes or less. Here, the service was no comparison, as I waited a good 20 minutes with a minimal line. The food was still tasty and all, but I had a meet I had to get to, and was almost late getting there. I would definitely recommend the Chipotle brand, however not necessarily this specific restaurant. If you are near goldenwest/westminster blvd, visit that one instead. We absolutely love the concept and the food. It’s fast and cheap, but still delicious and nutritious. Not particularly healthy, but made with fresh ingredients. The menu is limited and burritos is what’s served. I love the guacamole and need to have it, even though it’s extra. Your burrito/bowl/tacos are freshly made and you get to choose the meat(chicken(beef/carnitas) and the rest of the ingredients(everything from different beans to corn and cheese). The restaurant itself is not the typical Mexican restaurant with colorful decorations and warm atmosphere. It’s pretty sterile and cold with brushed metal counters and bar stools. Not a cozy place to enjoy a romantic dinner! They want you fast in and fast out. They do have beer(Corona) and margaritas(never tried!) to accompany your meal, but it’s not the place to stay a whole evening. I’m so happy they opened a restaurant in FV, at least it’s a little bit closer BUT for everyone that have been her should know. Chipotle is hands down the best fast-food restaurant out there. Love it!

If you want all the GAINZ after a good postworkout meal, then you know Chipotle is king. Very good macros that can be tracked on MyFitnessPal and Chipotle is just a staple diet when you don’t have time to meal prep or want to eat out after the gym. This Chipotle location is my absolute favorite out of Costa Mesa, Huntington Beach, Fullerton, and Brea because they are not stingy with how much they give you. When I ask for 3 scoops of rice the employees won’t give me that weird look on their face. When I ask for half chicken and half steak they actually give me a very good amount of meat that almost is double meat but not really. When I ask for extra extra lettuce, they actually will pack that thing to the top every time. That’s how you know a Chipotle is good for your gainz, when the location will not be stingy with your food. This location does get really crowded during the peak lunch rush 11am-2pm and during dinner time. So if you don’t want to wait long to get your burrito or bowl, then go during the non peak hours.

Why is it that every time I eat chipotle here, I get sick? Yesterday, around 7:30pm on Feb 16, I ordered a burrito bowl and guess what I found? A baby mosquito or some kind of disgusting insect in my bowl. Originally I thought it was hair cause of the legs, then I looked closer and realized its a dead insect Gross Please be more sanitary … Never coming back
