We’ve been here multiple times. Super good food. Very consistent in quality. The pizza has not let us down. It’s a safe place to try if you are looking for a new pizza place. They have a Mediterranean influence here. Pita pizza. Hummus dishes. All kinds of Mediterranean food. We usually get he pizza though. Outside is a nice beautiful Hookah lounge. Perfect for outdoor smoking. Especially on a warm evening. It’s right on the water.

I love this place. Have been here quite a few times. Have wonderful waterfront seating too. Food is excellent and they can easily accommodate large groups.

Update with recent visits. I’ve gotten the lunch personal pizza here twice now and its been very good both times. They are much better at pizza than they are gyros. They gain no points because they gave a member of our group a personal size instead of the small she ordered which was twice the price. When she asked for a refund of the difference, they ignored her complete and instead came out later with another pizza. She said she didn’t want a second pizza, and that the refund would more appropriate, this too was ignored. In the end she left with an entire cold pizza she didn’t want. This place still smells like a soap factory. All the customers were outside again, I can only assume to escape the nasal assault. Picture the laundry isle of the grocery store, its like that. Do they not have noses?

If you want some delicious Mediterranean food and hookah… This is probably your spot! The food was amazing. We ordered a jumbo pizza(split between 5 people) half pesto half gyro.(4⁄5) I ordered the chicken curry with rice(5⁄5!!!) The best and most creamy curry I’ve had, and spicy too! The hookah option was awesome, it was my first time hookah-Ing and it wasn’t bad. They have a few wine options but I will definitely be back to try more food… It was towards the end of the night and I wanted to try it all.

Best spot for hookah with a fab view along the waterfront. Food is good with good selection of wine. Been here lots of times I have only one thing to complain about is the service. They never follow the wait list and never good at setting a table. I would suggest anyone to go early around 4−5pm to grab a table outside along the waterfront. Try their Tea, Pizza n Kabobs.

Great spot for food and hookah! This place clean, the service is efficient, food is quality and served in great portions, the outdoor back patio is Amazon and their best feature, etc. Lots of people come so expect waiting times and a full house during the spring and summer. They serve beer on tap, wine by the glass and bottle, and of course traditional teas and coffees. Their pizza is in-house made and is served fresh from scratch. It’s tasty and delicious. Today my friend and I had an amazing time smoking hookah while having conversations and looking at boats and kayaks go by. The waterfront is a great edition to this atmosphere and provides a cool breeze. Not to mention, hookah is only $ 18! Can’t beat it!

The Good: + great for groups with ample seating area + excellent outdoor seating section right on the water + hookah! + excellent selection of Western and Middle Eastern dishes for sharing + moderately cheap pitchers The Not So Good: — quality of the entrée type dishes leaves opportunity for improvement; while the food wasn’t bad, it wasn’t good enough to where i’d want to come back — pizza was delicious however, and would definitely get it for takeout

Not bad, not bad! Delicious pizza with a nice view in charmingly quiet Foster City makes for a great weekend lunch. First off, I encourage you to check out Foster City in general. The city doesn’t have anything close to a bustling nightlife but is very Venice-like in how its housing areas interact with streams of water. Lots of houses’ backyards go straight to the water, and people tie their boats up on their own dock. Legit. So now with that picture in mind, we have Waterfront: a mediterranean and pizza place on the water. I tried their BBQ chicken pizza, and it was delicious. I’m not one for beer with lunch so I didn’t indulge, but I did notice a few beers on tap. Nice ambiance and nice food, but they get docked a star because of how slow the service was. We went on a Saturday afternoon, so perhaps the dinner crew is more on top of their game, but we weren’t happy with how long we waited. I’m also not a hookah person, so I didn’t enjoy the hookah smells drifting in my direction; I wanted to smell my pizza!

This place is a solid 5. I rarely give out 5’s unless it’s the real deal. I’ve smoked here a dozen times, and as far as hookah goes, these guys are making the best hookah in the entire bay area. Take it from someone who has smoked a thousand times. A good hookah is thick, not harsh, and flavorful. Also, got the pizza here. Freaking stellar. I think I got the chicken pizza with garlic. Hit the spot everytime. Smoke, or grab a pizza. You’ll leave happy.

The only problem with coming here for lunch is that sitting on the deck by the water is so relaxing it makes you want to just stay and have a few drinks instead of going back to work. I still haven’t tried the pizza here, but I keep coming back for the falafel or chicken shawarma wrap. The wrap itself is pretty good but it comes with a side of what might be a salad but looks like just some sad shredded lettuce they found and threw onto the plate to «decorate». Overall, a nice restaurant for lunch, would be great for post-work relaxing, and spacious enough for bigger parties as well. They also have hookah if you are into that.

LOVELOVELOVELOVE. This place has been a go to spot for years and I can’t get enough of it especially when the warm weather is here. Offers a wide range of Mediterranean food, such as kebab plates, falafel, hummus, shawarma, wrap, baba ganoush, you name it. They have a good selection of beverages too, including house wine and beer on tap. Hookah is good for the most part, given that it’s served outside the hookah tends to burn out easily, but you can’t beat smoking outside with friends combined with the food and scenery and overall chill vibes. They don’t begin to serve hookah until around 3 I believe. There is also a smoking room with 2 – 3TV’s since as well, but you are only allowed to have drinks in there. They also recently put in some new wooden planks, therefore I never have to worry about my phone falling through the cracks anymore!

Worst middle-eastern food ever!!! Bland & tasteless food, and everything tastes the same. I eat only halal food, and this place servers both, so I was under the impression that I will enjoy their food, as it turns out only chicken and lamb is halal and beef is not, that was a disappointment or I so thought, I hated both their chicken kabob and lamb shish kabob dishes, had to throw it all after taking few bites from each… the only consolidation is their location and hookah(seesha).

I do like to eat pizza once in a while. And I heard such great things about this place from my neighbors and it was just simply in a drivable distance from me. I’ve eaten here 3 times so far. 1. The view: If you get to sit outside, it has breath taking beautiful view. The blue water under your feet and the lagoon… So romantic. It’s hard to find a sit outside in general especially when it’s nice and warm. On the side note, Californians are so spoiled. They won’t even let you sit outside just because it’s barely 70 degrees. It’s like the perfect sit outside weather in Minnesota! 2. Service: You have to stand in line and order your food and pay then and there. You won’t be interrupted while eating and you won’t really interact with a server. Only time you’ll have some interaction is when they bring the food you ordered, for which you say thank you and that’s about it. That’s assuming you be a decent person and actually thank them. Place itself is nice and clean and have many seats inside. 3. Atmosphere: It feels like one of those middle eastern eateries. It’s cozy, clean and you’ll be left alone. I noticed a lot of couples or young people there. Didn’t see many kids or families. That’s what I would’ve expected from a pizza place. 4. Food: Pizza was okay. I personally prefer thin crust and authentic Italian versions, so this wasn’t my favorite. However, it tasted good. No complaint here. Beef kebob: it was quite well done and hard to chew. Definitely didn’t enjoy it. Falafel wrap: it was just meh. Salad: nothing special, just normal salad. All in all, I would recommend eating pizza only here if you come here. If you feel like eating anything else, lower your expectations and expect to eat normal convenience food. The view of the waterfront though. Worth it, just get a glass of wine and enjoy the view and nice breeze. Completely off the topic of review: I think they should change the menu a bit, offer full service and turn it into a romantic dinner place. People who live in that neighborhood are richer than average and can totally afford such restaurant and there isn’t comparable restaurant in the vicinity, so they could attract a lot of foot traffic even if they changed their business model.

I absolutely love the Waterfront. Their tea is amazing. I could drink it everyday, all day long. I ordered the chicken with rice and vegetables. That rice! What do they put in it?! It’s amazing. I would go there just for their rice. It’s phenomenal. Who knew rice could be that good! The chicken was also delicious. It was juicy and had obviously been marinated in something excellent. Cooked perfectly. The vegetables were seasonal — zucchini, onions and mushrooms. Also delicious. They had a little seasoning in them of some sort. Their staff is friendly and always smile at you when they walk by. After we ate, we moved outside for hooka. House blend is great. The view is fantastic. They had enough heat lamps to keep everyone on the patio warm. Overall we had a great evening with friends. We will definitely be back.

It was okay. This is one of those high prices for great location /view places. I’ve had tastier middle eastern food and at much better prices. You order at the register and they bring the food to you but I would really expect full waiter services at these prices. In regards to the patio outside, it was hard to enjoy with everyone’s hookah smoke blowing in our faces and with kids being loud and running around. Maybe I’m not the right demographic for this place. But then again, if I did have kids, I wouldn’t bring them to a place where they are inhaling smoke while paying exorbitant prices for mediocre food. And while the view is amazing, it’s hard to enjoy due to all the commotion around there.

Pretty torn about this place… Okay. Let’s start with food. It’s ok. Pizza is ok, out of the few times we’ve been here it’s often burned. We’ve tried a few different menu items and up to now nothing has amazed me. The Alfredo pasta was pretty good though, probably the best thing i’ve tried here so far. Wings are ok. Fries ok. Everything was ok. Service on the restaurant side can be pretty rude. We try to sit outside when we do come, of course, so we can order some hookah and smoke next to the lake while we eat. It’s a pretty cool place to chill which is what i like most about it. I think that’s what keeps most coming back. The hookah itself is pretty good, food is ok, service is ok. It’s the ambiance that keeps us coming! Overtime as i come more often it seems to be improving. Fingers crossed it keeps getting better, because i like the place!

Food was alright. Being from the midwest, I was surprised to see so many families with young children smoking hookah. It was sorta obnoxious. You’re smoking hookah… it’s sunset on the weekend? We are trying to get all romantic on the waterfront over here and your loud kid is throwing bread at ducks and running around begging«lemme try *cough cough*» 30 minute wait to get the hookah, house blend good but we only got one additional coals. They weren’t attentive too us. Ate our food inside while we waited for hookah at a dirty table. Basically, its a relaxed family environment. It’s chilllllllllll hookah environment and romantic. Perhaps later at night there’s fewer kids. Pretty view. Bring a jacket, it gets chilly out there.

Waterfront’s quality has sadly, and oddly, declined. From the get-go they have always displayed obvious favoritism in how they handle their customers — a specific group is given preferential treatment when it comes to ordering, being seated, being served, etc. I normally would just get take-out, so it didn’t really bother me too much. However, the food quality seems extremely erratic, and our last pizza honestly looked like they just took some leftover pieces and tried to fit them together, and pass it off as a whole, fresh pizza. It’s kind of hard to want to give Waterfront any more patronage with all the cards stacking up against them. Guess I have to find a new local spot.

4 stars for the spectacular view! The backside of the restaurant is located next to a lake! You can also see all the houses lined up around the lake with their private boats. I always wonder how rich you have to be to live there… Anyways, we shared a lamb kebob because we weren’t that hungry. It had good flavor and the right tenderness to it. We were more there for the hookah + view! They have good flavors and the hookah set isn’t too bad. They also have a side room where it’s hookah only with TV’s! Great place to watch sports. All in all, this is the only hookah place I know with such a great view!
