We just moved in a few days ago and the management has been extremely helpful. We love our new apt. We wish the bedrooms we a tad bigger but for the price and location it’s worth it. The only down side so far has been there is only one AC vent in the master bedroom and none in the attached bathroom so it gets rather hot quickly. The maintenance was very nice and seems to be fast to repairs. The pool and amenities are lovely.

This is my first apartment and overall it has been a great experience. We got a great deal and rent for around $ 470 for a single bedroom. The exterior is a light blue similar to houses built in the 1980’s, so it isn’t that esthetically pleasing, but the interior is what matters in my opinion. We did a lot of decoration with furniture and contact paper. We recovered the counter tops and dry bar with a simulated black leather and it looks great. The entrance is a great touch too, as our front door leads to our patio/balcony. Another added benefit is that the property sits on the edge of the trinity river so there are great jogging trails. The only negative is that we have had problem with a noisy neighbor upstairs, but the staff has done an excellent job of rectifying the situation. Thank you Churchill Park Apartments for a great first-time apartment renter experience!!! Update: We resigned with them and moved to another apartment within the complex and they raised rent considerably. They also charged us $ 15/mo for a pet and a non refundable $ 300 pet fee. They also kept our $ 200 regular rental deposit. The maintenance was great; however, the apartment managers consistently forgot to give us our monthly statement with water charges etc. I called recently about a 2bdrm which we currently pay 665 for, they wanted close to $ 1000/mo.

awful place to live thanks to GREYSTARPROPERTIES. they took over as the property management company recently(not sure when, and trying to get someone to call you back is nigh impossible– i left 6 messages over the span of a week and never got a return call). upon renewing my lease i was told rent would be increasing by $ 107/month. they seriously want $ 950 per month for this place. all upgrades have been cosmetic, and the apartments still have paper thin walls. no reason i should be able to hear my neighbor’s shower when i’m in my bedroom. no reason i should be able to hear every step my upstairs neighbor’s dog takes. when i finally got the apartment manager to put me in touch with GREYSTARPROPERTIES i was given the runaround, they never would tell me which company actually owns the property and when i suggested that maybe my rent increase was possibly due to having apartment management, property management and property owners all looking to get paid i was told that the people at GREYSTARPROPERTIES actually work very hard– depositing checks, hiring management staff and hiring landscaping companies. drive down River Park some time and check out the«landscaping» at Vieux Coulée. not exactly the kind of work you want to hang your hat on. the fact that there’s a mud puddle in front of my apartment, in july, in Texas kind of says it all. tl;dr version– avoid GREYSTARPROPERTIES at all costs. attractive move in specials turn in to extremely overpriced increases in rent on renewal. and they’re impossible to contact
