The worst beef broccoli I have ever had and costs $ 11 The spring rolls have no flavor and no shrimp which their web page picture indicates it should.

Went in to order two boba teas to go and was treated like dirt. Told me they couldn’t make them how I asked like they did last time and served other people before me with teas. Made me wait 20mins and had nothing. Don’t go here if you’re a young woman they ignore you and won’t serve you at all.

The Pad Thai and Panang Curry are both great. The peanut sauce for the spring rolls and salad is also amazing!

This is the best Thai curry and shrimp spring rolls I’ve found in Fort Worth. The aesthetic is modern and quaint. The staff are fast and friendly. Great for take out and dine in. I love that it’s casual but also intimate, giving one the feeling that they found something unique, exclusive, and hip. Give it a try!

The food tasted good but the service sucked and there was a long hair in my pad Thai.

I love this place. This is easily the best Thai in Fort Worth. I see a few reviews that complain about slow service. I don’t find it any slower than anywhere else, but if it is, that’s the price you pay for quality, fresh food.

We tried Thai Select for the first time for an early midweek dinner and we’re very pleased with our food. I had a grilled pork vermicelli bowl. It tasted fresh, healthy and delicious. My hubby had a steaming bowl of peppered beef that smelled awesome. Spicy level 3 was a bit much for him with all the whole peppercorns in the sauce. But, the heat didn’t stop him from enjoying his food. There were many people calling in take out orders and the traffic thru the door for pick up was steady the entire meal. I can see why some people would want to take away than dine in because, the nonstop phone ring was annoyong. Also, the traffic on Hulen is very busy and the parking situation can be a bit of a hassle. Note: Do Not park right in front of the restaurant during a busy time, you will get blocked in by traffic. The restaurant itself is clean and inviting. We enjoyed the simple clean décor. We had wait staff to refill our drinks and check on is, no complaints with our service. We will definitely be back.

Food is always good. But the service is ALWYS slow. ALWYS. Whether dining in or take away, they are always extra slow compared to other places. 4 stars if service is faster.

Made it back in for dinner. Continued good service and a comfortable environment. Edamame($ 4) was good. The Tempura Veg.($ 7), especially the Tempura Eggplant was nice. I tried the Scallops in Bacon; they were small, but appropriately priced for the size($ 8), a good appetizer for one, and yummy. I had a Hot Pot of Tom Kah Kai Soup($ 12) and it was super delicious! I can’t wait to try some of the more entrée-ish foods next time. Great little place and a super lucky Thai find.

You’re in for a treat — the food is really good. We like to start with the Thai Select Sampler, share an entrée and save room for the Sweet Mango with Sticky Rice. The only problem with this strategy is that we have to make the tough choice between noodles or curry for our main dish. The dining room can feel a bit crowded(especially when you’ve got an infant sleeping in a carseat in your party), but that isn’t a big deal when weighted against the quality of the meal. I can’t wait until baby is big enough to try his first handful of Pad Thai.

Love it! Lunch specials are not exactly big portions but they come with a salad and a spring roll. I don’t feel that staff is as friendly as other reviewers but they do work so… since the food is good I wil keep going there!

Haven’t been here for months till today. I was gonna go to Thai terrace but they were closed for in between hours. I didn’t feel like waiting so decided to go with Thai select instead. I placed a to go order for tom yum and requested sub for tofu instead of shrimp(restaurant wasn’t busy at this time and I verified my order on phone). Came by and picked up and paid for the tom yum. Came home and found out they gave me tom Kha khai, which I did not want and also costs less than tom yum. I should have waited for Thai terrace. Not happy at all!

I’m a loyal customer here. I picked up take out tonight and my fried spring rolls were all burned. As in burned on both ends and in middle. I posted a pic. They are in the trash now. How can you put these in a take out box and not see they are all burned???

We are regulars at Thai Select, maybe a little bit too regular. It’s consistently great food and not too pricey. Our favorites are the Curry and Pad Thai.

Tried this for the first time and my fiancé and I were impressed. After our favorite Thai place on Belknap closed last year, we gave up searching for another place that we liked. The weekday lunch specials are $ 9.25 and are pretty filling. We got the panang and green curry. Even the 2⁄5 spice level has a nice kick — the fiancé got a 3⁄5 and he liked it. This was the first time I’ve had brown rice with curry, but I’m pretty sure I won’t be able to eat curry with white rice again. We’ll be back… and will definitely be trying the highly recommended thai tea. The table next to us had ordered 3 of them, and it came out in mason jars and looked so refreshing for this summer heat.

We have now tried this place twice and we’re DONE here! Quickly put, the food, itself, is not bad, however, the service is nonexistent. The first time, we were seated in the main dining room and had to deal with non-friendly, non-smiling staff who took our order and brought our food — little more. We were in a hurry to eat something healthy last Tuesday and decided to just go back one more time. This time, they moved a CLOSED sign blocking a dining room to the side to seat us. Unfortunately, no one seemed to be assigned to wait on this side room, so NOSERVICE at all! After a lengthy wait, we finally snagged a young man to take our order. After a 40 minute wait, one correct dish was delivered by someone else — the other dish was the wrong order. We had to wait another 20 – 25 minutes for the correct order to finally arrive. Keep in mind, at this time, there were only 4 people in the entire restaurant. Someone who appeared to be the manager(an older man), finally brought my Thai beef salad and inferred this was my fault as the kid hadn’t understood what I wanted. Guess he was punishing me and put me back at the end of the line. The Thai beef salad was just grilled beef with a thin sauce — NOLETTUCE except for the single leaf the beef was presented on. I have always known Yum Nua to be grilled beef, with lettuce, cucumbers, peppers, cilantro, and onion presented on a large lettuce leaf. Not here. Finally, we had to ask a bus boy to get our check as no one ever came to ask us how the meal was, or if we wanted anything else. We even had to ask him for water. When we left, the CLOSED sign had been moved back to block our egress, so we had to unlock a side door to leave. NEVERAGAIN here. As I’ve said before, there’s too many good restaurants to waste your time on a bad one. Good bye Thai Select!

Go for their lunch(12 – 2:30)! Each entrée is $ 9.75 and it includes a salad and an egg roll or spring roll. I love how generous they are with their plates and it always fills me up. Also, their Thai tea is delicious! I like that their level of spicy isn’t nose dripping spicy. My favorite dishes are the Panang curry, pad thai, paradise fried rice, and pad key mao. One thing I don’t like is that their meat(chicken, beef, and pork) are slightly on the dry side. Their food comes out in a reasonable manner. The environment and service is always quick and not too intrusive.

I’ve been a fan of Thai Select since it opened. Lately, every time I dine here though service hasn’t been that great. Mostly just snotty attitudes, so I’ve been getting it to go. If you go close to closing time(45 mins-1hr) it seems like they are rushing you to get you out of there. A little understandable though. Anyway, from the looks of the reviews service has improved! I love the thai crispy spring rolls and the chicken satay. I could eat that peanut dipping sauce with anything. My favorite is the Tom Kha Kai soup and the Spicy beef salad. It’s so good, but sometimes the beef can be really tough. My other favorite is the cashew chicken.
