I like La Madeleine but this location ahs real problems in the Kitchen. Recently I got Eggs Benedict for carryout, when I got home I discovered they left the sauce off. Today I had Paella, one of my favorites, and it was barely edible. It appeared to have been thrown together hurriedly, the rice appeared half-cooked and was runny, never had that problem before, they left out the chicken and it over salted to the extreme. Stopped in for a quick bite expecting the old La Madeleine experience of a café style line. It’s changed. You now stand in line to order and they bring it out to you. On this day, the line was long and we waited 20 minutes to get from back of line to order station. The menu’s are back at the order station, so everyone waits until they get back there to look, its really inefficient and time consuming. Most of the old LM standards are there. I was surprised it took another 15 for my order to be delivered although what I ordered was in the front serving area. It was cold, not unexpected. The free bread section had been picked over and there were a bunch of kids running loose fingering what was left. Yuck. The place was crowded though, so community seating was our only choice. Not my favorite style of enjoying my meal with a bunch of people I don’t know. Decent parking in the strip mall lot right across from the restaurant, no complaints. Just a «meh» experience with the food and wait this time. I don’t like the new concept, and not sure why they changed it, so won’t likely be going back.

I heard of La Madeleine and have tried their pastries brought in from vendors and they are great but the restaurant at this location was bad, really bad. Being my first experience, I didn’t know what to do: When you walk in, there is no host/hostess to sit you down. There are no waiters/waitress to tell you about the menu. There are two registers, a to-go and the order here, kinda like a Luby’s restaurant but no food you can see and pick. The cashier wasn’t any help, she gave me the menu and when asked what they recommended the response I got was,” everything is good”. But when asked about certain dishes she didn’t know. So I placed my order added the side salad with a drink, my total was $ 19.79 for one person? Well for some great French cuisine, why not. I got my number, sat down and noticed many tables that were dirty and the table I chose was wobbly. Other restaurants bring your salad before your meal, not here, plus I don’t think I would call it salad, a couple of lettuce leaves, croutons and dressing? The Cordon Blue pasta was a joke. The sauce was watery, no flavor. I can do better with a Ragu sauce from my local supermarket and for the price, it’s better if you go to Olive Garden, they give you a huge salad, a real salad, lettuce, black olives, banana peppers, red onion, tomates and they add grated Parmesan cheese. If you want to spend your money go to Macaroni Grill, here you get bread and dipping olive oil. I was half way done with my meal when they came out to clean the tables. What was funny was there was one dish rag to clean 4 – 5 tables and seats. Would I tried them again? Sure, maybe it was bad luck that day it was Friday the 13th, not only that they did have a «Now Hiring» sign. Maybe next time it would be a better experience.

Currently live in Arlington and normally go to the location but today we were out this direction and decided to stop by, worst service I have ever received, when I asked for my food to be taken back because it was wrong, manager correct me and said that it was something different so he wouldn’t fix it, but that particular thing wasn’t list on the menu as being on that item. Bathroom was not clean at all, and all the workers were very unpleasant.

Food, so-so(barely), but I love the cheesecake/dessert here, although a little too sweet, still pretty good(a slice of cheesecake is 900 calories though, so you have to watch yourself!)

I normally visit La Madeline at the Arlington location, but I have recently move near by and I love going to this restaurant the food is always excellent, however at this particular location the service is the absolute worse! I often go for breakfast and the cashier looks very distracted when taking orders and other staff members don’t seem very pleasant. I really miss my Arlington location everyone was always so pleasant.

The panera bread of French soul food. It was 11 am and they didn’t have one of the foods ready? Need to get those«fresh»(really a frozen item that was probably shipped from a corporate bakery) items ready! –_– The free bread was stale and definitely needed to be restocked(there were like 4 pieces of bread left). It wasn’t even busy at the time, so I’m wondering why the bread wasn’t properly stocked. Doubt I’d come back here again unless I was craving a really expensive plate of scrambled eggs.

I am a longtime fan of La Madeleine and have been to most of the locations around the metroplex, but this one just doesn’t measure up. I’ve been there on two occasions and while the food is on par with the other locations, the service is among the worst I’ve ever experienced at any restaurant. The staff members are chit-chatty with each other and seem to have no sense of urgency, whether it’s taking orders efficiently or clearing tables in the dining area. On both visits I watched dirty tables stay that way for the entire hour that I was there, both in the dining room and on the patio. I approached the bakery/pastry counter at the end of my meal to buy some sweets to go, and watched two or three employees saunter by, glance in my direction and keep on going, saying nothing. Finally a manager-type saw me from a distance and came over to ask if I needed help. Really disappointing. The two stars are for the consistent food, but nothing else.

Basically basic. Everything is good. Never had a standout jaw dropper. Noah on some free fresh bread and blackberry jam.

La Madeleine is great for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! The food is light and fairly healthy. I love the breakfast croissant or even just the plain ol American classic breakfast. Their soups are so good, especially the tomato basil. I’ve had several of their dishes. Sandwiches; the french dip and the croque monsieur are great, but my favorite is the chicken salad croissant! Beef Bourguignon, Salmon with dill sauce, chicken la Madeleine are all good as well. I’ve never had a bad meal at La Madeleine. As far as desserts, the SACHERTORTE is great. Chocolate cake with raspberries. I don’t like raspberries, but this cake is rich and never fails to amaze me.

You can’t go wrong with La Madeleine for some savory French food and pastries. Also, I like to order their fruit tarts or tiramisu cake for special occasions. Their menu has a variety of foods including sandwiches, pastas, and french inspired appetizers. I like that they serve breakfast as well. I’ve visited many different locations and I’ve always encountered excellent customer service whether I was dining in or picking up a to go order. If you’re hesitant about some items, my go to meal is a chicken friand with mushroom sauce, a cup of tomato basil/potato soup and a latte :)

The lady that worked there who took my order was super friendly BUT my take out order was for spinach pochete and I got home to find quiche. I was so looking forward to the pochete…

I’ve been visiting this new location since they first opened in October of 2013. Not only is it incredibly convenient, I love how the newness has not worn off, even after being open for a year. The food is consistently good. Some notable things I personally love are; the country potato soup, the Chicken Parisian sandwich, the potato galette, and strawberries romanof are just a few of my favorites. The staff is also decent, but I can tell that the management has changed at least once since opening.

I really love this new location. They are doing a really good job of keeping the place clean and this is a major plus. I notice that the staff does a great job at cleaning the tables right away and they work very hard. The staff at this location — behind the register and also on the floor are very kind and courteous. My only complaint is that sometimes my order gets messed up or I have to wait about 15 minutes for the food when it is not crowded at all. Besides this, I really love this restaurant. Why? Because the food is really good and they appear to take pride in what they put on the customer’s plate. When the staff has made a mistake on my order, I mention it, and they fix the problem. I want to give them 5 stars but I cannot because of this — but with this said — I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. Food is fresh & good.

La Madeleine is always a great option for lunch and/or if you’re looking for dessert. Their dessert options are AWESOME! I’ll start there haha. They have a bakery area where you can pop in to grab dessert or place/pick up take out. They are relatively fast when it comes to their take out as well, but calling ahead always helps. They have several size options when it comes to their desserts so you can have a very small individual portion, a medium portion(that can be shared between 2 – 3 people), or their large size which is basically their equivalent to a cake for several people. Their FRESHFRUITTART never fails, so get it whether you’re alone or with others. I normally like to pick up their largest portion for birthdays too. Their STRAWBERRIESROMANOFF is a great option too! One of my best friends always orders it when we go… Their CHEESECAKE is very rich, so if that’s not your style I would recommend passing. Their STRAWBERRYNAPOLEON I would pass on; I have only gotten it once and won’t order again. Their LEMONTART is decent, although the last one I recently had the crust was extra hard to cut through. Their TOMATOBASIL is one of their most popular soups and it is good. It is very strong in flavor too, almost too strong for my liking. They sell it in jars as well. You can’t go wrong with really any of their salads. I would, however, recommend their Caesar salad. You get a decent sized portion and it’s the salad I normally order. This restaurant is set up cafeteria style, so you go in and order while walking down a line. Then you pay at the end, they hand you your food, and you’re off to search for a place to sit. I don’t eat here often so there’s nothing memorable for the food choices I’ve only tried once.

I’m not generally a huge fan of chain boutiques, but La Madeline is actually doing a great job. I seem to be preferring them more and more to Panera Bread and I think it’s because I can get a very tasty salad here, more than I can get in other boutique chains like Chipotle and Panera. The best thing about La Medeline is their selection of light pastries. Sure they may be loaded with sugar but at least I don’t feel like a tranquelized bear after I eat one. Their croissants are very light and fluffy while giving a fresh taste with a variety of filling options. I’ll keep coming back for my favorite though, a Chicken Salad Croissant with a cesar salad. It fills you up and you don’t feel slowed down, or like you need to schedule a nap afterwards. It’s got just enough bread to fill my stomach and enough greens to make me feel like I’m at least trying to eat healthy. Give La Madeline a shot, even if you’ve had bad luck at other franchises this one does a great job.

The food is fantastic… The service is not. Ordering here is easy… unlike every other la Madeline in the world, you just order everything at the register. I would roll with 5 stars, but service is spotty. I watched the manager ladle soup and wipe his thumb off on the rim of the bowl. no gloves. Ick. That was after they forgot our soup and I went back to the register to ask for it. The restaurant was crummy, literally, and needed significant cleaning. I was here during a a slow time…5pm. Still love the food though.

Decided to go here for breakfast for the first time and I was not at all impressed. I had the Parisian eggs Benedict and the hubby had the American Breakfast which were a bit overpriced for the amount and quality of the food. The food wasn’t entirely horrible since at the very least it was warm. Their drink selection is very poor and needless to say there weren’t many people at the restaurant. Skip this place and go to ihop which unfortunately would have been a better idea. I will not return to this place and I do not recommend it.

The food here is awesome. Perfect for a cold rainy day. French Onion soup and Strawberries Romanoff are classics. I tried chicken salad today and it was great. Staff here are very nice. The total time to place our order and to get our food was about 40 minutes, seems excessive to me even for noon. Hopefully they figure out some ways to speed things up at lunch.
