Went here with a bunch of friends on a Saturday night. Lovely atmosphere and lighting. The waitress took some time before giving us our garlic rolls but they were seriously worth waiting for — SO good! I ordered the four cheese ravioli and it was a small serving, but incredible and very rich. I went with a large group and everyone got something different and enjoyed their meals. Will definitely return the next time I’m in town :)

Good service, great food and music. Atmosphere was pleasant during early dinner times, and the waitress was friendly and professional. Food is well worth the price for a nice night out.

I’m not sure why people have left such poor reviews. We went on a Wednesday evening so it was very quiet and we received fabulous service. I tried the Vodka pasta as suggested by the viewers which was creamy, rich and filling. I first hesitated when ordering this dish because of the ground beef but, our waitress offered to use chicken with jalapeño peppers. It was sooo good and well worth the price. My friend tried the Alfredo and he loved it. The restaurant was very clean and had a romantic atmosphere and located in the heart of Fort Worth. Try it on a weekday, you wont be disappointed.

My husband had lunch there recently while awaiting his return to jury duty and wanted me to give it a try. We have tried the margherita pizza just about everywhere within 15 miles of the 76137 zipcode, so why not? I had the Daily Pizza Special: 2 slices, salad and drink for under $ 10. I went with 2 slices of margherita and the salad comes pre-dressed with italian dressing. Overall, the pizza was not too shabby(I enjoyed the crust – right in between thin and thick) and the salad was typical(not too drenched, which was good). I don’t think that the average 2.5 star rating on Unilocal is hurting this place as there was a steady stream of Sundance Square office workers waiting in line. Verdict: I’ve had better and I’ve had worse. PS: biggest faux paux was that one of the waiters used his bare fingers to put parmesan cheese and parsley on someone’s food. He had not washed his hands and he was working the floor. He did this in plain sight of everyone waiting in line. The only person that would not see this was the person that ordered the food as they were already seated. Glad I got the pizza and I saw the cashier dish up my salad.

This is my second time to Saviano’s. The first time was an unholy mess up of 1. forgetting to bring my food then 2. Bringing me the incorrect item. Today was attempt two at Saviano’s. The food was fine. Not really good but not bad. Just average. Then the bill came. The lasagna on the lunch menu was marked $ 8. My bill said $ 10. When I remarked upon the problem to the server, she said«well the lunch price is good until 3 pm and you came in after 3», I said«Then why were we given lunch menus instead of dinner menus?» She changed the check to the appropriate amount but I am done with mess up’s at Saviano’s and I shall not return.

This casual Sundance Square location takes a fairly mainstream approach to Italian cuisine and makes for a passable experience. Right away let me say that the entire staff was friendly and efficient, from the hostess to the servers. Even the bartender smiled a lot and was helpful. They got a lot of things right in areas where most places can get sloppy. This goes a long way in my book. The floor plan is awkward and you risk being seated in some uncomfortable places, such as next to heavy bar traffic or back by the storage room. If I can tell how many extra rolls of toilet paper you have on hand, my table should be moved. The pizza is clearly the winning dish here but be adventurous and give their entrees a shot. I was surprised by the creative offerings even though all the usual American-Italian suspects are all there. The dishes were a little too weighed down by the heavy sauces(both cream and tomato-based) and the dinner salads were overly tart. I’d be more inclined to re-visit during lunch, maybe during the warmer months when you can enjoy a pizza outside. As for dinner, this place is perhaps a bit too casual and the atmosphere a little undercooked for me to consider another visit.

Good staff. Good pizza. Good lunch special(2 slices, a salad and a drink for under 10 bucks)! I have always been a fan of their food. It’s close to where I work and great for a quick bite at lunch. I do have to say, the Lasagna on a cold rainy day is perfection. Since downtown dies when it’s rainy outside they come to the table and take your order and take great care of you.

We were hanging out Sundance Square and wanted a cheaper dinner so we decided to head over to Saviano’s. The bread was awful(way too doughy and had absolutely no flavor). The soup was ok(not much flavor and too watery) The entrée was good, but not great(I had lobster ravioli, it was good, but for $ 13 I was hoping for a little more than just 4 ravioli in some sauce) Saviano’s has a good location and the atmosphere was pretty relaxed, but there are better options in the area. but also worse.

It’s SO nice to have Saviano’s in downtown Fort Worth! I’ve been to the Euless location a handful of times — it’s the big guy’s favorite Italian joint. We went today to celebrate our administrative professionals — even if only one of the 4 came with — not sure what that says! We called ahead to make sure they could accommodate a bigger group at lunchtime, and they said they could do it. The lunch prices are fantastic — easily one of the cheapest places to eat on Sundance Square. I had 2HUGE slices of supreme pizza, a salad and drink for under $ 9.00, tax included. The pizza was really good and they have delicious dressing. Looking at my colleagues’ lunches, they all looked delicious, and smelled like heaven(in my world, the pearly gates are made of garlic). Service was good. Atmosphere was nice. I’d never been to Zippy’s or Tommy’s, but my colleagues said they did one heck of a job rennovating the space. We’re definitely adding this location to our list of places to check out for a happy hour — their little patio is perfect for a few glasses of wine in this kind of weather!

Great location and layout, this is going to be a cool place to hang out, especially with their ability to open up the entire place to the sidewalks yet they’re not ON the side walks. People are nice, food it great and it won’t break the bank.

We decided to go to Sundance Square and noticed Saviano’s where Zippy’s used to be.(We never tried Zippy’s). Saviano’s had lots of patrons and their lovely patio area was packed around 8:30 pm, so we decided to try it. The décor and atmosphere were great. The restaurant staff(including the owners) were very friendly. Our server was also very attentive. I ordered the Penne Alla Vodka($ 14) and my husband got the lasagna($ 14). I guess we didn’t read the menu very carefully because we were pleasantly surprised when we were presented with two hearty salads with delicious red wine vinaigrette and amazing(sourdough?) garlic knots(reminded me of Bertucci’s rolls) that were included with our entrees. The Penne Alla Vodka pasta and tangy sauce tasted like they were made from scratch and were delightful.(I must have misread the menu because I was expecting Italian Sausage but instead tasted seasoned ground beef. Later, I checked the online menu for the Euless location and the dish comes with seasoned ground beef). Overall, it was a nice, flavorful dish. The lasagna was also very good, especially the ricotta. The pizzas and canoli’s presented to other customers looked awesome. We can’t wait to go back and try them too!
