I’ve driven by this place for years and never realized it existed. !! The food was delicious… I had the Greek salad w/chicken and a side of hummus… very flavorful. I will definitely eat here again

Wonderful gem of a casual dining restaurant tucked away in this historic Fort Worth mill! Gyro and kafta was delicious and be sure not to leave without trying some of the wonderful baked goods. We are from Dallas, but this will definitely be our stop every time we come back to Haltom City. Thank you, Hassan!

The place closes at 6pm on weekdays. It is more for the lunch crowd, but I got to say, for a no frills Mediterranean place, it is good. The owners are super friendly, and the space is very well kept. Definitely a gem off the beaten path. Their baked goods are all from scratch, and pretty good. The hummus is really tasty and the owners proudly say they do that from scratch too. I would go here for a casual lunch where I didn’t want to spend too much but still wanted some stick to your ribs food. :)

I was looking for something different today and decided to check this location out. The service was great! I ordered the gyro. The meat dressed with lettuce and tomato drizzled with cucumber sauce filled the soft pita bread perfectly. I be coming back for more gyros.

Got to say. It’s been a long time coming. Need a place like this on the area. Working in area since 1990 n really got tired of the same old fast food places. Came in and pick up a few plates for the guys at work. Young lady offered me a few samples of baklava. Got to say was very good. Chicken was cooked perfect. Seems that’s going to be my spot from now on.

Best Mediterranean food I ever had. I used to go all the time when was by Camp a bowie. Haven’t been at the new location by Beach Street yet. I’m not sure if it’s the same menu. Tryed to check online and it doesn’t look the same. I had several of their lunch specials including soups salads and lamb. Everything was absolutely delicious and the seasoning waters my mouth! I do need to check it out the new location! Will sit my review then!

Excellent. Authentic. Friendly staff, chewy pita, well seasoned chicken shawarma. Great value for the money, adequate parking. Patio seating, but off Beach street so not exactly an appealing smell outside. Don’t let the exterior fool you. Inside, smells like a bakery and has nice paintings. bit of a diner feel. The baklava has a crisp phyllo dough and generous filling, with just the right amount of sweet. My shwarma wrap had crisp vegetables and came out very quickly. The balance of sauce to shwarma was exactly as I like it. Would prefer a different accompaniment than bag chips, perhaps a small portion of hummus, but considering the cost I can’t complain.

This place is hard to spot. If you’re not careful you might just drive past it and that would be a shame. It appears that Saffron Sky moved from the Camp Bowie location to 449 N Beach(just in front of the giant grain silos). I had the Gyro wrap. Gyros are one of my favorite foods and I have had a lot of Gyros in the past. This is the first Gyro that I’ve had that came with Mediterranean style pickles inside. This Gyro was pretty darn good. The menu is very limited(see attached photos). The pastries in the glass counter looked good. I will definitely be back.

The food is really yummy at Saffron Sky! They have great vegetarian choices and yummy treats for after lunch. Not a big menu but the food is really tasty and fresh. We usually go a couple of times a month to get our Mediterranean fix.

If you’re looking for delicious AND authentic Mediterranean food, look no further it’s here! I got the falafel plate and let me tell you, I was very apprehensive as I’m not a falafel fan(I’ve had too many bad falafel and am not typically a fan of the texture) but seeing as I have a vegetarian challenge going on with my sister I decided to try it. This was the BEST falafel I’ve ever tasted – the texture was nice and the spice mixture in it made it delicious, not to mention they’re were made in house after I ordered(SOFRESH!). I also had the coconut balls that tasted like I was eating the inside of an almond joy – YUM!

ATTENTIONALLFOODIES! I know everyone has driven by the old mill rundown off of north beach st on the right as you make your way to I-30. Guess what, they have a quaint Mediterranean cuisine and bakery shop there now! I met the owner Heidi and have come to find out that its a family run mill! They decided to open a small café to cater to Fort Worth/Haltom’s need for a Mediterranean food. It’s a small and simple menu, which is great for lunch and people who have limited time to eat! They even have samples out for their desserts! Try their baklava! On point. I had their beef/lamb plate. It was accompanied w taziki sauce and hummus which, of course, came w/fresh, warm pita bread. Simply delicious! Also, if you have the nextdoor app, they’ve received some great testimonials from locals. Do yourself a favor guys, come in a support a newly established family business. I’ve lived in this Haltom area for over 20 years and I’m glad to have a little Greekiness in a neighborhood saturated w Asian and tex-mex cuisine. Eat and live well!
