Record Town is a Fort Worth cultural institution. Sumter Bruton is more than just the owner; he is a walking encyclopedia of musical knowledge (and a renowned guitarist). The albums at Record Town are carefully curated, and if there’s something that you don’t see — or can’t find anywhere else — Sumter will track it down.
Record Town is where T Bone Burnett received his musical education and it remains an irreplaceable store for serious fans of great music, whether you’re looking for jazz, blues, Western swing, rock n’ roll, or any of the genres in between.

Decent enough record shop. Not too big of a selection, with all around decent prices. I like going there to hear my uncle talk to the owner about Fort Worth music history more than I like picking through their stuff.
