We actually had fun. Bartender was careful and quick to learn/listen the various libations we have. We got there about 945 and there was no cover.(Thurs Nighttime). That was fine. The two pairs of piano players were all amusing and charming. They did not understand«anything anything» by play Rama so my wife was disappointed. Lol.

Been to this place many times through the years. Used to love it. The players were talented and funny and it was pure joy. They played great songs and did a great job doing it. In the recent past, they have gone more for the comedy side, which definitely has a place. However, the music side is pretty weak now. There is little effort in playing the music. They start on a song and 15 seconds into it, they pause for a comment and this goes on all night. So if you are going for meh comedy and some occasional laughs, go. If you care about hearing music, go elsewhere. The music side is no longer relevant.

Fun and hell raisin’ place, we were w/another couple on the weekend and their was a short line out the door. Few mins and we were in,$ 10 cover & your on your way, wide open packed wick loud, screaming people and not much path to walk through in some spots. Not surprised by the drink prices, don’t look like it’s hurtin’ business. We had a fun night, not as fun as some but will definitely come back and check this place out again,

Pete’s is fantastic! I would make sure to get a reservation, because it does fill up quickly. They do play all the worn out oldies(Livin On A Prayer, Sweet Caroline, etc.) and it does get a little bit corny, but they mix it in with some newer stuff. Drinking helps. I’d say if you weren’t in the mood to get drunk and sing, you probably won’t have a good time. But if you ARE in the mood to get drunk and sing, it’ll be a fantastic night.

Absolutely loved this place. Can never go wrong. The only thing is it was very packed and no where to sit. And we had to wait outside for about 10 mins before we could go in. People are friendly and the place is overall a cool place to hang out. I would go back for sure. This time just really early.

Typical piano bar. If that’s your scene the entertainment is good. The reason for the two star review is largely based on price. $ 5 for a domestic beer $ 7 for liquor. Even that is almost expected in downtown but what really dragged this review down was the overly aggressive bathroom attendant. First of who the hell needs a bathroom attendant? I don’t need to pay someone to pee. Can you believe I’ve been potty trained for a few years now and don’t require assistance? While most of the time attendants are just a nuisance this guy was over the top. He would not take no for an answer. He even went so far as to block the door standing in front of it with soap dispenser in hand. He is like the sean lee of bathrooms, you ain’t getting by this guy. Want to use the usuaI don’t have change line… he’s got you, happy to make change right there in pisser. I’m honestly suprised he didn’t have an atm or accepted cc. This guy is brutal.

Come here if you want Texas cowboy culture and leave your expectations for Vaquero culture out too… It is a great place to observe Fort Worth’s white American culture(in regards to music, cowboy culture and fun dancing)., Pop country music and classic rock(i.e. Bön Jovi’s «Living on A Prayer») pumped the crowd’s energy. The«gangsta» translation of rap music could be summed up with Coolio’s «Gangsta Paradise» and The Sugarhill Gang«Rappers’ Delight«. The back bar is a good for Chaperone Sideline Viewing Area. It’s easy to find the bathroom because the entire hallway smells like air freshener PLUS I saw the nearest trash can used for purging drinks.

I have mixed feelings about this place. I have been twice and enjoyed it both times. The music is electrifying and the energy is addictive. It’s a great place to go as a group, although expensive. I had my bachelorette party there and I made sure to reserve space beforehand. We got good seats and my name even written on the big chalkboard, which was really nice. The service was good as well. What I didn’t like was being ignored. I paid extra money to get a chance to be recognized onstage in my white dress and veil as a bride-to-be. However, I never got the chance. I watched another younger, prettier bride pulled onstage over and over but I never did. I was really patient for a few hours and then I finally spoke with the manager who said he’d take care of it. About an hour after that they called all the brides onstage with their guests for a group dance, but that was it. I was very disappointed since the reason I picked Pete’s for my big night was their reputation for honoring the brides-to-be and it would have been nice to get even a minute or two of attention. Other than that experience I’ve always enjoyed it there, great vibe, lively atmosphere, and awesome music.

While I was strolling the Sundance area, I ran into this place(9÷17÷2015). At first, it seemed like it was fun but after walking upstairs and finding only two persons in the audience I sorta changed my mind. Maybe it is busy on weekends but not definitely during the week days. I ordered a caramel appltini. It was ok – more on the sweeter side and very little vodka. I left after one drink. Weekends are probably fun.

Spent a fortune on drinks., then they gave shout outs for places outside FW. Insisted on money to do it. I asked stage assistant about mine. Demanded money for air time. I gave $ 10 to assistant to turn mine in and they never mentioned mine. Don’t demand my money then not deliver!

Take this for what it’s worth, but this was my first ever piano bar. I know! Right!?! Well, it was a Wednesday night and we showed up around 9:00p with a group of about 15, there were only 2 other couples inside so I was worried this place was going to be a total dive. But we brought the party. The two teams of pianists were fun, lively, great to interact with, funny and really did a fine job. There were a few popular songs we requested that they didn’t know, but you can’t know them all… The drinks flowed freely and that only made things more fun. It was really loud, but maybe that’s by design. The bathrooms were really clean which was an unexpected surprise… It was obvious that Wednesday’s were not usually so lively as a few regulars were there that the muscians knew by name, and they all agreed it was a hit-or-miss night, for us, it was a total hit. We all left with hoarse voices and great stories the next day. What more can you ask for?

As a general rule, I hate dueling piano bars. I used to stop by one when I lived in Houston once a month or so because everyone I knew was a fan, but it was consistently disappointing. When planning my sister’s bachelorette party, I knew she wanted to try one and we were already in Ft Worth, so why not give this one a try? It was the best decision. It wasn’t cheesy, the crowd was enthusiastically participating, the bartenders were great. Lots of great songs were played and there were no lulls at all. Maybe it’s the city but this experience was drastically better than other dueling piano bars I’ve visited. I think we came at a peak time, because I was a frustrated at first with the bar’s service. After spending a little time there and watching the crowd thin out, it got much better. I wanted to try something new, but never know what to try. Several bartenders made me dealer’s choice drinks over the course of the night and they were all amazing. They asked me a few questions about my tastes and really nailed it.

The«all nighter» «porn star» drinks maybe had 1 shot in them and advertised as 5 shots in each one. Our server was Morgan. My lightweight bf and i consumed 3 and we should be dead. Thanks for the rip off and $ 150 tab. Never go here.

The first time I went to Pete’s was for my 21st birthday and had one of the best nights of my life. I always enjoy going back. The musicians are very talented. Tip them well and you can get them to play almost anything! If you’re here for any kind of event they’ll bring you on stage and sing an inappropriate song to you. ;) There’s always such a positive vibe at Pete’s. Get there early to get a good table otherwise you will be standing the whole night. I remember them having two bars, one on each side of the building. But I could totally be making that part up. Anyways, really friendly bartenders and well made drinks. $ 10 cover to get in. Always have a tip for the lady in the bathroom every time you go in to pee or she will give you the stank eye all night.

The entertainment was great but gets a little old after a few hours. I’d say this is a good place to start your not but don’t plan to stay the whole night. The drinks are very overpriced. The large specialty drink($ 38) that was supposed to serve five was easily split by two and neither could taste any alcohol.

Pete’s would have 5 stars from me if it didn’t allow smoking. I am quite a fan of piano bars and Pete’s was no different. Talented musicians(I say musicians because every performer not only played the piano, but sang and played another instrument) and a fun sing-a-long atmosphere. My friend and I kind of impromptu-ly ended up here on a Saturday night. The show started at 8 and we wandered in about 7:20. Good thing we go there when w did! Since we didn’t have a reservation, we were pointed towards the«first come first serve» general admission area– of which we snagged the last 2 bar stools available. These seats were in the back and actually ended up being awesome seats! So I highly recommend them. We ordered drinks– and our server throughout the night was very friendly and attentive. I never had an empty beer. I was impressed with that considering how crowded it was. A dueling piano bar is not a place for the easily offended– as the performers are often crude, sarcastic and not shy about picking on the crowd. That being said, I like those kinds of things, and therefore thoroughly enjoyed my time there! Due to a late Friday night, and long day on Saturday, we didn’t stay for the entire show– but just enough to leave us in a good mood singing«Sweet Caroline» all the way to the car.

This place is really cool!!! We happened to stumble upon scrolling through our Unilocal app to find things to do. We went on a Saturday night and I’m glad we got their early. If you have a reservation, then you will be fine. They do allow walk-in’s, but come early. There is limited seating for stragglers like me. The entertainment was fantastic. The open pair of piano players, Erin and I forget her partner’s name, but they were phenomenally talented. They played a lot of selections from rock, to country, to college fight songs! Their interaction with the crowd was great, offering a lot of special treatment for those celebrating birthdays, bachelorette parties and other milestones in life. Again, I am not a fan of a smokey bar and this one is no exception. We would have stayed longer if it wasn’t getting too strong. Had a great time and can’t wait to go back again.

First time here last week, for HS reunion mixer. Man, this place is really cool. It’s upstairs, and has a quaint feel to it. The drinks were flowing, and reasonably priced. Beware of the«shots!», they’ll get ya! I must say the talent at those pianos were A+. Those guys could play anything, and sang the hell outta those songs. You can go and put your request in, and they will play whatever you request. It’s amazing they know such a variety of songs. As the night went on, and the alcohol became more prevalent, the more fun the paino dudes were. It was a blast! I will definitely go back and party with these folks!

Piano players are talented, although they play with little dynamics. It’s all just banged out on a keyboard and screamed. My biggest turn off was the constant homophobic comments by the pianists. Apparently, it’s still funny to make disparaging remarks about gay people in Texas.(i.e. this is gay, don’t worry I’m not gay, Kenny Loggins is gay). I was having a good time until…

This place is just so so for me. The waiting in line and then getting upstairs where it was so packed we could not move was just over rated for me. I think it can be a great place but sometimes there is just to many people. Singing, sweat and booze with no space — not me. Now on a lighter note if it was another night with less people. I would sing my heart out at this place. A girls night out here would be great with a little more breathing room
