It’s an attempt, which I can appreciate, but the space is small & cramped. A few highlights that I haven’t seen at other markets — gems & minerals; baseball cards; coins and paper money; comic books. Pricing is decent at some of the booths, however for the most part it’s priced like the Antique Mart on Montgomery, which is to say high and not very flea-market-esque. There’s undoubtedly a few gems to be had here, so it’s worth a pop-in, but don’t budget much more than an hour to see everything there is to see.

I used to love the cattle barn flea market when it was over at the stockyards up until the city started charging for parking. It gradually went downhill but now they have moved to this new location and I was excited to go to it once again. However, I have to admit, I was disappointed in what I found. It was full of dealers which was great but the booths were cramped, the aisles were narrow and probably due to higher booth rents, the merchandise was pricey. It was so cramped that I felt in the way. You couldn’t even walk into some of the booths. I know I rushed through it just to get out of there. Sad but true. Instead of going there frequently, this will be about a twice a year stop for me.
