VERYGOODFOOD! If you’re not looking for your run of the mill Mexican cuisine, this is your place! Hole in the wall but the staff is very nice and can translate for you. Fast service and food was just made!

Wow. Real authentic Mexican food. It’s all homemade. Don’t be shy when you walk in. It’s a meat market with a small restaurant inside. Street tacos are out of this world. Try this plave. The staff is very beryl nice.

I recently moved here from California and have been looking for some legit Mexican food instead of this tex mex stuff that’s everywhere. So I tried quite a few places none of them very good and then I went to this place and boom! Excellent fresh made to order street tacos, moist, fresh carne asada and they fill them up topped with pico de gallo(jalapenos in it). Downside is all the picture menu and written menus are in Spanish only and no one takes your order you have to ask the cook to order and they’re English is shotty at best plus place is hard to find and a bit dirty. But all in all would I go back? Absolutely their food is top notch

NOTE — This review is for the Carniceria Dos Hermanos #3 on Alta Mesa Blvd(near McCart). I couldn’t find that place on Unilocal but wanted to leave a review. I have been there for lunch three times in the past 10 days. It is close to work and fast. I have only ordered some tacos(though they messed up my order and gave me platos one of the times). I need to try some of the breakfast items. I have ordered: The al pastor — good flavor, dripping with sauce. In my past life, al pastor had more of a pineapple flavor and sweetness. I have not found that yet here in my few Fort Worth taco runs, but I still found this to be really tasty. The barbacoa — super tender, tons of meat, great combination with the cilantro and onions. Carne asada — wow. This was excellent. Super flavor in the meat. very, very delicious. Shrimp ceviche tostada — wanted to try it since the shrimp looked good and fresh. I don’t know that I’ll get this again, but not because it wasn’t good. It just isn’t as good as the other options above. The tacos were all around $ 1.59, if I remember right. They made a mistake one day and gave me two platos(al pastor and barbacoa). Those were around $ 9.00, I think. They only charged me for one. Those came with a large helping of meat and a decent-sized portion of rice and beans. They also came with what seemed like a dozen steaming tortillas and a big bowl of cilantro and onions. The plate was good. Lots of food, but very good. While waiting for the food to come out my first visit, I walked around the food store. It’s fairly basic, though the meat looked incredibly fresh. I wasn’t going to buy fresh meat and take it home, but I wouldn’t hesitate coming back one day and getting meat here. There are three booths. I have managed to sit each time I’ve gone, but if they are ever busy, there’s not much capacity for a lunch crowd. I am too new to know how many people eat lunch at a meat market. :-) Lastly, the employees are crazy friendly. When I was there today, she remembered me from the platos mistake and again threw in something free(the tostada). She remembered my order and asked if I wanted the same thing. Perhaps they don’t have many people who are regular visitors, but it was a nice touch nonetheless.

I’m not sure how we first came across this place, but I’d already been in search of a great burrito for about 4 months since our move to Fort Worth when we found this place. They have absolutely the best burrito in the area! We haven’t eaten anything else there yet, but I did buy some delicious hot sauce made in the store. Can’t wait to try more off the menu! Fantastic food.

LOVE this place! Located right next to the $ 0.99 store, its almost easy to miss driving along Camp Bowie! Their marinated meats are delicious and reasonably priced when compared to Fiesta Mart. And also the quality is better! Last week we got marinated leg halves for only $ 1/lb!!! They’ve got a great selection of foods, items, candy and pinatas!!! They also advertise burrito, taco and torta plates; but we have yet to try some. But every time we’re there we see a lot of people buying the food. Also don’t sleep on the super fresh corn tortillas they sell there! They keep them in a cooler by the meat counter. These tortillas are so so delicious and fresh!!!
