I just had the BEST Mexican food, and let me tell you about it. The place is a little off the beaten path, but it’s one of those hole in the wall joints that everyone needs to know about. It’s good, authentic food, and the rice was simple but well seasoned, and the beans not only edible, but ENJOYABLE, and let me tell you something, beans of any kind are difficult for me to eat. The have to be just about perfect. I don’t even eat my mom’s baked beans. Which these aren’t baked, but you know, the point stands. It’s clean, delicious, and well priced. Oh and their horchata is bomb diggity.

This place is a hidden gem! They have some of the best well seasoned meat I’ve had. I started just getting their tacos but they were so delicious, I’ve branched off to other stuff. I love thier tortas the best! They also have some amazing gorditas as well. They are home made corn tortilla pockets of goodness. The pastor and fajita beef are seriously finger licking good! They aren’t chintzy with the meat portions at all. Just all around great food!

Oh my goodness I wish I could give more than five stars! Clean, easy to get to, fast and DELECTABLE, this little gem was exactly what I was looking for on my commute from Dallas to fort worth over lunch. I had the three taco plate with rice and beans(only $ 6.99!) And actually ate the rice and beans – which I never do. The tacos were FANTASTIC, the barbacoa was lean but flavorful and juicy, the asado was rich and gristle free, and the pastor was melt in your mouth – I’m tempted next time to get some asado tacos to bring home! The chips were brought out piping hot, and they give you the squeeze bottles for the salsa so you never run out! Both are spicy, but the red stuff was on FIRE. The sope was not too thick nor too thin, and the avocado, queso Blanco and crema on it was plentiful. Julie, my waitress, was quick, attentive without being overbearing, and super sweet! I will definitely come back, probably with one of my good friends that lives one street over. I’m so glad the first recommendation wasn’t what I was looking for!

I, too, am a street taco snob and I just found myself a new spot near my job. Too bad it’s 20 miles from my house though! I had the beef fajita gordita & an order of 2 fajita tacos to take home for dinner(no onion or cilantro). They also have tortas, enchilada plates, etc… I will be returning at least once a week to get my taco fix.

I typically avoid writing a taqueria review unless I’ve had the tacos at least twice to test for consistence; but I am so impressed I had to add this little gem immediately. I consider myself a street taco snob. I expect the price to be under $ 1.50 per taco, the cilantro, onions and limes to be plentiful, the beef asada or fajita to be without gristle and in thin small pieces, and the pastor to be flavorful, juicy, and not greasy. This place hit on all marks. Delicious, fresh, fast, cheap, clean. They even take a card and speak English which are bonuses I have come to not expect! It was delicious the meat was flavorful and just how I like it. Can’t wait to come back.
