Parking cost $ 2 but isn’t inconvenient .,. Price for a drink Is very fair… Price for food is very fair for the quality… «Good quality» Besides the open air venue it is an amazing place to go with friends to enjoy great live music and even better food Over all it’s a great place for good food and good music. Great date spot if the weather is nice

We got nachos and onion rings the nachos with beef were good but the meat was burnt and hard to chew. 10.00 for nachos the onions rings were not rings at all. They were very small slivers of onion pieces hard to eat and very greasy. 6.00 plus 1.00 for a tony side of ranch.

Everything was just awful. When we arrived we were the only people there so it’s not like they were busy. We ordered the special hamburger and an order of fries to share — large, unfortunately. The burgers were on the verge of being burned with very little sauce. The fries weren’t hot and were the farthest thing from crisp. Everything was over priced and really just plain bad. It’s sad; we ate there several years ago and it was terrific. I don’t think we’ll be going back.

Don’t let the looks confuse you, stopped by after walking through the shops, ordered the Dirty Love with onion rings, pretty simple place, it came in bag, the ketchup is in a pack, and the tables are picnic style. But that’s where the simple stops. First bite of the burger you know your in one of those rare burger places that know less is more. And as for those onion rings? Well I’ve never ever been a fan of the shoestring syle of fries or onion rings, always likes those big full of flavor rings, first bite and I could stop, the onions were sweet and the batter was fantastic, no need for a dip they were perfect, they way they were, overall a great little place to have a burger.

Great little spot with a funky layout. Stage for music, picnic tables, high top tables with comfortable chairs & the best damn birgers in the Stockyards. Good lord the Dorty Love Bird is a masterpiece!

LOVED my Old Fashion Root Beer on Tap. Icy Cold. My Beverage, complimented my «Dirty Love Burger», Topped with Fried Quail’s Egg. My Side of Onion Rings, brought my Lunch to Ultimate Old, Fashion Texas Experience. Love Free Live Music. The draw backs are; Outside, too Hot for Texas, Summers, &CASHONLY. Prices, typical for Tourist Area. Large Portions, make up for it.

No too bad. Reasonably priced. Ice water was out of a jug which had a slight dirt taste. Food was good however. Had a great taste with a picnic type feel. Your food comes in a sack that you pick up at the window. Very pet friendly so that was nice unlike other restaurants down the street.

Come here and experience what it has to offer but don’t expect any great burgers. This place sits in the ally on exchange in the stock yards. Live music is cool. I had the dirty love burger which is pretty much a burger with a quail egg on top. It’s good and all but it’s a 6 – 7 dollar burger for a single and it didn’t even close to fill me up. If you want a quick snack with some live music and some beer to go, come on down. The real reason this place gets three stars is I can bring my dog in, which was really convenient on the day I went.

I love the Love Shack! The burgers are delicious, but my absolute favorite is the Dirty Classic chicken sandwich. Man, it’s so good. The fries are pretty good and the milkshakes are ok. The dining style is unique and I like the live music. Just don’t go when it’s really cold outside, since it is all outdoor dining, unless you want to eat your food in the smoke filled saloon next door, where they also serve. CASHONLY! Thank goodness there was an ATM out front.

CASHONLY!!! They aren’t kidding. The drinks were a little pricey, although they included free live music. There was a single guitar player and he was pretty good. This bar-ish place is actually located in an alley between two restaurants. It is completely outside. In Texas that will work, and they want the extra step of installing misters everywhere so it’s not too hot. I would visit again. Great place to stop for a quick drink and some live music while you’re visiting the stockyards.

Let me start by saying that the service at this location was wonderful! Which says so much about a venue. However the food leaves something to be desired. I had the chicken nachos because how could that ever be bad?!? Well… the chicken had absolutely no flavor and the stale chips were covered in that fake cheese queso they served in school lunches. I expected better from you Timmy. Disappointing.

Love Shack is a unique, little(as in only a few tables), very laid back restaurant built between two historic buildings. It’s multi-level, deck-style, outdoors-only seating and they have those misting machines that blow fine water mist everywhere(cannot stand them because it’s like heavy blankets of humidity… and mist does bad things to my hair… but I realize I’m in the minority there :-)) to keep you cool. They also have ceiling fans so the Texas summers in this outdoors-only location are bearable. You order at a counter and they bring it out to your table — there are no waiters. The restrooms are shared by men and women — so I don’t enjoy that. You men need to get it together — y’all are messy when you pee! Ha! And the bathrooms reek of pee. Last time I went I didn’t even feel comfortable enough to attempt the hover method as even the floor had pee puddles and was worse than a porta-potty. Staff doesn’t do a great job of maintaining the bathrooms. But aside from that… ;-) … My favorite time to visit Love Shack is on a Friday afternoon. it’s awesome to blow off work and go sit on their patio with a good burger and a beer. It’s not too crowded and they always have live music Friday afternoons, too. Their«regular» singer is Brad Hines and he is really good — he plays a lot of Texas country covers and has a great voice. Check their website before you go so you can see who is playing and the times they go on stage. Their menu consists of hamburgers, hotdogs, chicken sandwiches, beer, and a few other little things mixed in. The burgers are pretty good… not as good as my favorite Fort Worth burger joint, Rodeo Goat, but they’re good. The patties are on the thinner side, so I always order a double meat burger — because I love food. And because I don’t feel like being hungry again in an hour. The fries are pretty boring — natural cut, but no seasoning and very thin. Meh… :-/For a restaurant owned by the famous Chef Tim Love, I would expect a little more but I haven’t been impressed by his food at his other restaurants either. **** IMPORTANT **** They are CASHONLY. If you don’t have cash though, there is an ATM right next to the entrance.

First and foremost, CASHONLY!!! I can’t stress that enough, luckily if you don’t listen to me there is an ATM right out front. Love Shack has got a pretty decent burger and their fries are cut and cooked amazingly, for my tastes at least. The beer prices are reasonable and on par with anywhere else in Fort Worth. Love Shack is situated in an alley right in the heart of the historic stockyards. With the great location it comes with some great people watching. Locals and tourists alike come here all the time so you’ve really got a meal and entertainment built. Plus they have live music too.

I really want to like Tim Loves restaurants!!! But they disappointment me every time! So my boyfriend and I got some Love gift cards and we have been to lonesome dove and woodshed together so we thought love shack would make a fun low key date! Things to know before you head to love shack! You will have to pay at least $ 5 for parking in the stock yard. Love shack is cash or gift card only! The restaurant is in an old ally! All outside!!! And in the Texas summer it doesn’t matter how many fans you have ITSHOT! The food and drinks are over priced and mediocre. I got the chicken strips and wow! THEYWERETINY!!! My bf got the dirty love burger and enjoyed it. I thought the egg was over cooked! We also ordered the Caliente fries. It was just fries with love sauce, pico and cheese! Taste but nothing too impressive. Lastly, the stockyard is always entertaining to people watch the tourist!

Tim Loves Loveshack is a stockyard staple, easily over looked to passersby. Not only is it the best place to grab a burger in the stockyards, but the prices won’t hurt your wallet. The burgers are the epitome of what a juicy, messy, non-apologetic burger should taste like. The«shack» is nestled beside the white elephant saloon, where you can enjoy your burger inside if the weather is not agreeable. The main attraction though is outside, amidst the fray of both tourists and locals walking about Fort Worth’s Historic Stock Yards, as you sit perched up on the top level of the deck. I’ll be the first to say that this isn’t a fancy boutique burger, and I’ve found better flavor elsewhere. Despite this, I’ve found myself returning to this spot multiple times for a good bite. The burgers are flavorful, and full of attitude that’ll bring you back. I’d recommend the Dirty Love Burger to a first time diner. Don’t let the thought of the unusual Quail Egg, and Wild Boar Bacon dissuade you as it really adds a unique, delicious take to an already flavorful burger patty. Plastic lovers Be-ware! They only accept cash here. There is an ATM directly adjacent to the restaurant if you don’t happen to have any on you.

If I feel like indulging in ‘junk food’, this is one of the places I’ll go to. Might as well make the most of it, right? The prices are a bit steep, but being in a main tourist area that’s to be expected, so I’m ok with that. The overall experience is what makes it worthwhile to me. The 3 story wooden frame, open air dining is great for people watching, and I really love the live country music playing at any given time. Such a great way to kill an hour or two.

Hooray! I finally visited a Tim Love restaurant, I swooned I must say. It was a lot more laid back than I’d expected, and yet, it fit in perfectly with the surroundings of the Forth Worth Stockyards. CASHONLY! I repeat, CASHONLY! Between the four of us in our party we ordered a Hamburger + grilled onions, Love Burger Combo + grilled onions and 2 Classics(grilled chicken). The burgers were just the right size, tasty, fresh and a juicy mouthful with each bite. The fries were different, but still good, and the root beer was yummy. I didn’t realize they had ice cold beers until I spotted another guest with one, so of course I had to order one. AND guess what!!! You can walk up and down the street with your beer. It was a delightful treat. 4, or 3.5 stars instead of 5 — — it’s a smoking establishment and the end of my burger didn’t taste very good as I was being blanketed in smoke from a nearby table. We actually had to leave as my 10 month old son was also being blanketed in second hand smoke. — they only have one highchair. Major bummer and not realized until after you’ve ordered your food and found a seat.

Cash only blows… but the food here is good. I had a portabella burger with a quail egg and bacon on it. An order of fries or onion rings are huge. The nachos are average. The outdoor patio space unique and they had live music… although the guy kinda sucked.

I just do not understand what the big«fuss» is over Love Shack. I guess if you are hammered you wouldn’t know the difference in a good burger. The burgers are flat, tasteless, pancakes. The fries are the shoe string kind, not my thing, but hey. For the prices they charge, the portion sizes are a little on the small side. The fry bag was the same size as the McDonald’s children’s fry bag. Okay, I might be exaggerating, but you do receive a small portion size. The ambiance is probably the best thing about this place. If you are a tourist looking for a GOOD burger, check out rodeo goat. You won’t be disappointed.
